TURNING WISDOM TO WEALTH 1 1 Wisdom Provokes Wealth

Wisdom is good with an inheritance: and by it, there is profit to them that see the sun.

For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.

Wisdom is a life maximizer, and unless wisdom is translated to wealth in your life, the unbeliever will not value your G.o.d. Silver became like sand in Israel because a wise man, Solomon, was in power.

This is the time that G.o.d is transferring the wealth of the wicked to the righteous. The G.o.d that created the world did not create it for the devil and his children. G.o.d is a father, and no man loves other children more than his own children.

If He could heal Naaman, He can heal others in Israel.

If He could provide for the widow of Zarephath, he can provide for his children as well. The same anointing that heals the sick empowers to get wealth. When you become a creator of wealth, people under you and those in your household will serve your G.o.d.

Many people hate the rich. They think that poverty is holiness but you can never attract what you detest. The G.o.d that created everything before Adam came; would have created him before other creation if he needed his help. He created him into abundance and pleasure. He did not create this world for the devil and his children. The same anointing that heals the sick is the same that empowers to get riches. So enough of critical spirit, that looks down on people that have wealth. You need money and wealth to do the will of G.o.d on earth. Over two thousand verses in the bible talk about finances with two-thirds of the parables of Jesus talking about finances and stewardship. This is because if you mismanage what G.o.d has given to you, your personal finances will be in a mess. The bible says "wisdom is profitable to direct" (Eccl. 10:10). If you cannot handle financial matters well, G.o.d will not trust you with the anointing.

Luke 16:11 11

If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?

If G.o.d cannot trust your judgment with worldly possession how will he trust you with the anointing. Jesus commended the unjust steward because he did wisely.

Luke 16:8 8

And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.

The reason why the unjust steward is wise is not because he changed the papers, but for the first time he was planning for his future. He could not beg, he could not dig but he could think. Jesus said he is wise. When you start to plan for your future, you are wise. The bible says;

Proverb 13:22

A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.

Inheritance means wealth. To die and not leave anything behind is not transition but termination. If you are wise, you will succeed. G.o.d is interested in your profiting. He is after your increase.

Genesis 1:28

And G.o.d blessed them, and G.o.d said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Whatever G.o.d is doing must lead to increase and multiplication. When what you are doing is not leading to increase, it is either you are foolish or you are unfaithful. There is no point being wise, if there is nothing to show for it.

When the queen of Sheba came to seek Solomon, she saw the proofs of wisdom

"The meat of Solomon's table, the sitting of his servants, the attendance of his ministers, their apparel, and the cupbearers and the ascent by which he went up unto the house of the Lord; there was no more spirit in her" (1 Kings 10:5)

So wisdom is not for decoration, it must translate to success in your life. If you are poor, you are a bad reflection of your G.o.d and G.o.d does not want us to represent him badly. Beloved, you can turn wisdom to wealth in the midst of trouble in the world today. Solomon was the richest in the Old Testament because with wisdom comes riches. Let us open our heart to G.o.d and allow his wisdom to teach us the sure way to wealth.

RECOGNIZE THE LAW OF INCREASE

Luke 6:38 38

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

There is a law of increase. Those who do not have value for G.o.d's word will not be enriched in these last days. Wealth is more than money. Whatever you can see comes from the spirit realm.

The law of gravity is a law in the physical, it does not respect whether you are a man or woman. Spiritual law is more real because it has its origin in the truth of G.o.d's word which is more abiding. The bible says:

Genesis 8:22

While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

The law of increase is the law of sowing and reaping. It is an eternal law. The harvest is to encourage us because when we give, we give with all our hands, in receiving, we receive with our bosom. This means that the harvest is usually more than the seed. Even in marriage the baby, which is the harvest is greater than the seed.

Every time you are decreasing in life, you must ask yourself what is wrong with you. It is either you are foolish or you are unfaithful. Many become bitter and blame people for their failure. Be careful that you don't waste your seed; it is not every ground that yields good result. It is not every giving that produces good harvest.

That is why you must ask yourself what returns am I having for my sowing? Until Moses turned aside to the burning bush, G.o.d did not talk to him. We must care enough to ask relevant questions, if not, G.o.d will not talk because this shows that we are not receptive to him. There is no reason to find fault or be offended, G.o.d is not a respecter of persons.

Acts 10:35

But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness is accepted with him.

What do you do in times like these when things that are free are no more free. You must treat your money as a seed. It will produce beautiful harvest. Solomon the richest in the Old Testament understood this principle. When G.o.d is ready for you, he gives you increase and multiplication. It is a known fact, that a seed of maize produces 600 other maize after some months.

Whatever G.o.d is doing will lead to increase. The bible says

2 Cor. 4:16

For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. There is no reason to faint. Be faithful in sowing your seed so you can reap a harvest. Some do not know how to receive. Don't pretend or be religious for you should have no apology to receive if you are a sower. If you are poor it is your choice. So don't choose poverty for poverty is a bad friend

Proverbs 28:20

A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.

Therefore don't be apologetic about G.o.d's blessing. When you are faithful, G.o.d will make you to abound. I am not talking about a get rich quick scam because everything has a process.

When G.o.d is involved in your life, the blessing will abound.

Do you know that the communion is referred to as the cup of blessing? "The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?" – 1 Corinthians 10:16

Solomon, the richest in the Old Testament practiced the law of increase. He was a generous giver, he had a large heart and his largeness of heart moved G.o.d to bless him beyond human comprehension.

1 King 3:3-5

And Solomon loved the LORD, walking in the statutes of David his father: only he sacrificed and burnt incense in high places.

And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place: a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar.

In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and G.o.d said, Ask what I shall give thee.

Solomon sacrificed an uncommon sacrifice and received an uncommon reward. Don't be stingy, don't think of yourself alone, be a steward of G.o.d's resources. Can G.o.d trust you with what he puts in your hand? Solomon was generous but he was also a receiver. The queen of Sheba, coming to learn wisdom from Solomon did not come empty. If you only give without receiving you will bleed and that is why it is giving and receiving. That is how G.o.d sustains the world.

1 Kings 10:1-2,10

And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the LORD, she came to prove him with hard questions.

And she came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels that bare spices, and very much gold, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.

And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices very great store, and precious stones: there came no more such abundance of spices as these which the queen of Sheba gave to king Solomon.

This is a lesson for us. You don't come to a man of wisdom without bringing an offering. Wisdom is not free. You connect to wisdom by sowing into it Solomon was a great giver and also a great receiver. Apart from the queen of Sheba, other people too brought gifts to him.

1 Kings 4:21, 34

And Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the river unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt: they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life.

34And there came of all people to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, which had heard of his wisdom.

The Wisdom of Solomon so much provoked blessings until silver became like sand in the land of Israel. Some people don't know how to receive, G.o.d wants you to give and also receive. Eating food without pa.s.sing it out leads to constipation. If you give more than you receive, you will bleed to death. If you are releasing more than you are taking in; you will become dehydrated.

The rule is give and receive. Some believe they should only be giving, they play G.o.d in the life of others, if you do this, you will come to zero in your finances because you are promoting emotions above the wisdom of G.o.d.

Abraham out of emotion took Lot with him despite G.o.d's instruction. He ended up fighting a war at his own expense at the end; he saw that G.o.d was wise. Some people see you as a money magnet. They expect you to always meet their financial needs. To see your spiritual father as a way to get money is a sign of immaturity. Isaac gave blessing not money to Jacob and Esau.

Jesus used the widow woman to teach us that no matter the situation we find ourselves, we can still obey the law of sowing and reaping. Learn to grow and believe G.o.d to change your situation. Some believers are brought up in the atmosphere of fear; they bury their seeds and expose their fears. This leads to a continuity of poverty and struggle. Some are looking for bank with 100% profit until they are deceived, some have fallen into the hands of money doublers and miracle banks.

Farmers endure during the season of sowing so as to be able to reap in the time of harvest. Life is in seasons and nothing in your hand should die. Even in sowing and reaping, we must put first thing first. Jesus spoke more about money than prayer because your att.i.tude to money reveals your heart.

Matthew. 6:21 21

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Your life will go in the direction of your heart. If your treasure is not there, your heart will not be there. Your treasure includes your money, possessions, wealth and prosperity. This is why G.o.d allowed the wife of Lot to die on the way of escape. Her heart was in Sodom.

It is financial wisdom to t.i.the 10% of all your increase. If you don't t.i.the, your harvest is not secured. If you don't t.i.the, you will never reap the miracle harvest that G.o.d intends for your life and ministry.

Malachi 3:8-9

Will a man rob G.o.d? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In t.i.thes and offerings.

Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

It is not one day t.i.the in one year but t.i.the out of a cheerful heart. Three-quarters of believers do not bring t.i.the correctly.

It is wrong to be believing G.o.d for increase and Abraham's blessing and be living in disobedience. G.o.d is shaking nations of the world, what do you do when shakings come?

A rejected opportunity to sow the seed of faith in obeying him in t.i.the and offering is a lost opportunity to receive the miracle harvest. In the final a.n.a.lysis, your wallet will have holes and your life will be short of honour when you don't obey G.o.d in t.i.thing. There are holes of sickness and diseases. Only the blessing of G.o.d does not add sorrow. Your wealth should not be spent in managing children misfortunes. Don't be a dead sea, which is stinking because it only receives and does not give out. Be like the Sea of Galilee, which is fresh every day because it not only receives but it also flows out.

Whatever you do will affect your children. G.o.d blessed Isaac and Jacob, despite their mistakes because of the obedience of Abraham. Don't allow struggle to continue in your lineage. Obey G.o.d in sowing and reaping.

UNDERSTAND TIME, PURPOSE AND WORK.

Ecclesiastes 3:17

I said in mine heart, G.o.d shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.

For you to turn wisdom into wealth, you must understand the interplay between time, purpose and work. Life is in seasons, the bible says

Genesis 8:22

While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

The season of life should not limit you. There is a time to sow to have the maximum yield. To plant maize, when you are to plant yam is wrong timing and it leads to failure. The bible says

Ecclesiastes 3: 1

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

There is a right time for every purpose. Christians may not be lazy but may fail because they do not understand the relationship between time and purpose. The enemy attacks us in order to cut us away from work, time and purpose.

Africa is the second richest continent in mineral resources of the world yet it is the poorest because many in Africa don't respect time. Time is time all over the world and there is nothing like African time! Many in Africa have no reason for living, they don't understand purpose. Many also have wrong att.i.tude to work. They even coined an adage "work or no work, the salary of the labourer must be paid".

No one is great, who does not respect time. The sense of timing makes the ants wise. They know they can't go out during winter, so they prepare food in the summer that will last through the winter season

Proverbs 6:6-8

Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:

Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,

Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.

Even Solomon was wise with time. He put first thing first. He understood that there is time for everything.

He built the temple before building his own house. He used 7 years to build the temple and 13 years to build his own house. The Bibles says

Proverbs 24:27

Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field; and afterwards build thine house.

It is wisdom to build G.o.d's work and your business first before building your house. Wisdom is about priorities- the way things relate to each other

1. There is a time to every purpose under the heaven

2. Time counts on the earth

3. To benefit in time, you must understand purpose

Time does not govern heaven. G.o.d lives in timeless eternity, the connection between heaven and earth is to walk by faith.

Remember the Syrophoenician woman; her time had not come to receive a miracle for her daughter. Because Jesus had not yet died for the world on the cross by the time of her story. But this woman used her faith to override time (Mk. 7:28).

Truth will always overtake fact. This is why the faith message is relevant to believers. You can use the truth of G.o.d's word to confess yourself to victory. You can get the best out of life by getting your faith released for the miraculous. There are possibilities in the spirit realm so take advantage of who you are in the spirit realm.

Mark 7:28

And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.

You can't have faith without speaking. She was saying to Jesus "you are a rich father, you have enough for your children and also provision for dogs under the table." Her faith got the miracle for her daughter even when the time was wrong. By her faith, demonic attack over her daughter was forbidden.

Faith overrides time. What are you saying? Allow G.o.d's word to change your thinking. Time should be advantageous to us but it should not rule a man of faith. G.o.d rewrote Abraham's life even at the age of 100 because time does not govern G.o.d. He is not ruled by time. When facts do not clash with truth, you can accept time. There is always an opportune time to do work

Ecclesiastes 9:11

I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

Chance means opportunity. G.o.d will create opportunities for you; G.o.d owes you time and opportunity. Time and chance work together. When G.o.d gives you a chance, how do you use it? Opportunities are always knocking at the door. Some miss it because it looks like oppositions. Opportunities are wrapped in the garment of oppositions. The ten spies brought evil report from spying out the land of Canaan, they saw themselves like gra.s.shoppers and concentrated on the oppositions. But Caleb and Joshua saw opportunities (Num 14:8-9). Many have lost precious opportunities because they focused on the oppositions, but there is nothing in the world like opportunity. Opportunity for David is the head of the giant, for what we called opposition is the opportunity in disguise.

Caleb lived because he saw opportunity when others saw opposition. Beloved this is the time to be blessed. You need boldness to seize your opportunity for wealth and weather the opposition that surrounds it. David in pa.s.sing instruction to Solomon gave him this charge

1 Kings 2:2

I go the way of all the earth: be thou strong therefore, and shew thyself a man;

Beloved, you must be fearless. Be courageous. G.o.d compares us to the eagle. Don't chicken out. Cowards kill themselves at time like this. Stop blaming the government. Your life is not in their hands. Don't be terrified by the opposition. Refuse to give up (Phil. 1:28, II Cor. 4:8-9). If the men and women of G.o.d in the hall of fame made it, we can make it.

Heb 12:1

Wherefore seeing we also are compa.s.sed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

The top is your place. Be like the eagle which runs toward the wind. It does not struggle but soars. There are four kinds of eagles, they don't eat rotten things; they eat fresh meat. Run away from sin, don't follow the Babylonian way. G.o.d has a way of enriching you. You are more than things. You are not on sale, don't sell your body. When G.o.d is ready for you, no one can stop you.

G.o.d uses our work to bless us but the work that brings maximum result is purposeful work. That is why we pray. We must be led by the Spirit of G.o.d. Your best may not be enough because the work is not purposeful. Don't just work for working sake. Saul embraced work in going to look for the a.s.ses; G.o.d hid the animals to bring his purpose to pa.s.s (I Sam. 9:3). G.o.d orchestrated them to do his will. Kingship was waiting for Saul, as he went to work. There are things waiting for your discovery but if he had told his father that he would not be going, he would have missed the opportunity. Time, purpose and work go together. To do excellent work, you must be faithful and you must improve your skill. Don't excuse failure, for the sky is wide enough for every bird to fly.

Faithfulness and competence go together, but faithfulness is always ahead of competence. G.o.d will not do what you can do for yourself. G.o.d wants you to do your part; develop yourself.

Solomon, the wise man, surrounded himself with faithful and capable people. Don't allow around you, unfaithful people. To be faithful is to be loyal, sincere and committed to the cause

2 Timothy 2:2

And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

Every nation that promotes ability above faithfulness will fail. Competence is developed but faithfulness is a matter of integrity. A faithful man manifests integrity in everything. A man is as good as his word. Our nation is in trouble today because we are looking for able people and not faithful people. Faithful men must come before able men. Competence means ability; everyone has ability, G.o.d gave us different measures of ability. There is no reason to compete or compare yourself to another. The unprofitable servant said "I can't beg and I can't dig but he knows what he can do." He could make money to work for him; because like many they don't know where their abilities lie.

Many bury their talents and expose their fear, like the man with one talent.

Matthew 25:14.

14For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods

The man travelling in this parable represents Jesus; He gave each of the servants what they can handle. There is no one without grace, skill and talent. Do your part and be useful. Don't go about begging. Do something with your life. The unprofitable servant is more honorable than many people. He said "I cannot beg". so he started to think about the future (Luke 16:3)

You must make a success of what you have. Instinct should tell you what you must do. Your life will be marked with success and blessing as you trade with what you have been given. The man with one talent went to bury his potential and expose his fear.

Matthew 25:24-25.

24Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:

25And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.

Don't expose your fear. Bury your fear, expose your potentials. That you don't have the dimension of others does not mean you have nothing. Thank G.o.d for what G.o.d has given you to work with in the world. Don't go about begging, you have something that G.o.d has given you; use it, enough of complaining and murmuring. Your carnality will destroy your creativity. Carnality means carnivorous, fleshy and even jesters today are smiling to the bank for using their gifts. Don't destroy your creativity. G.o.d did not let the man that hid his talent go scot free.

Matthew 25:26-28, 30

26His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:

27Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.

28Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.

30And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

G.o.d punished him for being indifferent and for not investing his potentials. As you engage in work, G.o.d's favor will work for you.

Psalm 5:12

For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compa.s.s him as with a shield.

And know this, success will always attract hatred and envy. You must know how to handle hatred when the blessing starts to come in your work. Good success will be envied. That is why we have backbiters, but don't slow down. Move faster if the backbiting will not affect you. This time of gross darkness is your time. G.o.d will transfer the wealth of the world to the hands of the righteous. Those that will not be hurt in these last days are those that carry the wine and the oil (Rev. 6:1-6). The wine talks about the Holy Spirit, the oil talks about the anointing. Those that will not be hurt by the famine in these last days are those that get drunk in the Holy Ghost and know their G.o.d.

Daniel 11:32

And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their G.o.d shall be strong, and do exploits.

Don't allow your head to lack oil by sinful living. The world will need your service. G.o.d sent Joseph ahead of his brethren. He was used to preserve a generation in the time of recession. He used his gift.

Be committed; don't get old on the wrong side. Don't run aimlessly around, for if you urinate on the same spot, after a time it will foam.

Pursue what G.o.d wants you to pursue, for concentration is the mother of success. Pursue what you believe G.o.d for. The proof of desire is pursuit; for miracles happen where they are wanted and desired not just where they are needed. It is your need that will provoke the hunger that moves G.o.d. You know like everyone else that it is not all that need miracles that get it but those who are pa.s.sionate about it.

SPEAK WELL

Psalm 35:27

Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

You can turn wisdom to wealth in the midst of the trouble in the world. The beginning of making it is to see yourself the way G.o.d sees you. Confess the scripture; nothing happens on earth without confession. You will not go beyond the level of your confession. To get to your heart it must first be registered in your mouth.

Nothing works in the kingdom without speaking. It is a kingdom of word; word rules kingdom, to rule demonic operations and things that work against your life, you must value words. You say it continually, not one day because the father wants the world to hear. Your success makes the world to know that G.o.d is a good G.o.d. The devil's wickedness, notwithstanding, G.o.d is working everything together for your good. Whether in the pit, Portiphar's house or the prison, G.o.d is magnified in your success not in your failure.

Don't go about with a limited mentality, G.o.d is the ElShaddai, He is a G.o.d of more than enough.

Psalm 105:37

He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.

G.o.d took the Israelites from a land of not enough to a land of more than enough. They travelled through the wilderness; a land of just enough, where they can't change their clothes or shoes. They used the same cloth for more than 40 years until they got to the promised land.

Whatever is your situation in life; G.o.d has a plan for your life. And on the long run, it will end well. G.o.d has pleasure in your prosperity; therefore the spirit that speaks against your wellness is a spirit of the devil. Wealth influences others for G.o.d, G.o.d transferred the wealth of Egypt to the Israelites, but they converted the gold of G.o.d into golden calf because they didn't know the purpose for the wealth. Anytime purpose is not understood, abuse is inevitable.

They made it a golden calf and were dancing to it. Any time you don't know the purpose for the blessing of G.o.d, the tendency is to turn it into an idol. 2 Million people, yet no sickness. G.o.d rained down about 105 million birds to be fed to 2 Million people every month. G.o.d has a place of abundance for you. Your location notwithstanding, G.o.d is a good G.o.d but you must learn to speak well. Speak what G.o.d has said concerning you.

Proverb 4:24

Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.

If you say it with your mouth, abundance shall manifest in your life. Many are waiting for the economy and government policy to change. Don't go by what you see, go by what HE says. G.o.d will supply your needs according to what he has. And what He has is beyond a predictable salary. Don't have a mentality of just enough. Keep on dreaming and planning, G.o.d is taking you to a higher height. Great things will happen to you. G.o.d has a place of abundance for you, He is only limited by what you believe and if you believe abundance in your heart, you will say it with your mouth. For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

The same G.o.d that can give you a loaf of bread can give you a bakery. The same G.o.d that give you a pair of shoe can give you a shoe factory. Don't think just little. Just enough is not enough. G.o.d wants to give you more than enough. Be faithful in the wilderness and G.o.d will give you an overflow. There are many things money cannot buy, it can't buy wisdom. A poor son is a bad reflection of the father, for poverty and holiness are not the same; therefore give G.o.d permission to bless you. Jesus connected us to the blessing of Abraham (Gen. 12:1-3).

Gen 12:1-3

Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

7 things G.o.d would do for Abraham if he would obey him to go the way of his destiny.

II. He would bless him

III. He would make his name great

IV. He would be a blessing

V. He would bless them that bless him

VI. He would curse them that curse him

VII. In him all the families of the earth shall be blessed

Jesus connected every believer with Abrahamic blessing as stated in third Galatians (Gal. 3:13-14)

We are not looking for blessing, we are blessed already. But you must activate it with your mouth; for until it is believed and spoken out it does not work.

2 Corinthians 4:13

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

Somebody may ask what about ancestral curses? Look at your spiritual family that is bigger than the curse in your physical family. Christ died on the cross that the blessing of Abraham might be our redemptive right. Christ became a connection to the blessing of Abraham but our access to it is faith. No faith, no access. Faith is what receives what grace has made available Romans 5:1-2 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with G.o.d through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of G.o.d. As the world is going through trouble, our time of manifestation is here. G.o.d has deliberately planted the righteous in the midst of the wicked so that our light will be intense and compelling. But to grow in faith we need to hear the word

Romans 10:17

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of G.o.d.

So feed your faith, to starve your doubt.

Proverb 4:20-22

My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.

Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.

For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

Come to church, by attending church, be at attention. Don't sleep away your life inside church. Don't spend your time with people that don't count. A time waster is a life waster. Don't waste your future with things that will not last.

The currency of this world is your time, therefore invest your time in hearing the word of G.o.d. Hear the word, read it, meditate upon it and confess it

Joshua 1:8

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Have time for the truth of G.o.d's word, honor your words. Don't just say what you will not do. With no steering no matter how good the engine is or the petrol, a car will not move. Your tongue is the steering wheel for your life.

James 3:3-5

Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.

Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.

Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!

Don't speak for speaking sake honor your word. Thank G.o.d for the Holy Ghost and a prayer life, but without the steering of the tongue, you may not go far; so be careful what your mouth is saying. Speak to yourself; hear yourself, do inner communication.

G.o.d talks to himself when he wanted to make man. Talk to yourself to create your success. Whatever you talk about will multiply and enlarge. Ten spies talked about impossibility, they became victims; talk good (Num 14:3-4). Say what G.o.d wants to hear, what you are saying G.o.d is hearing; talk expectation, not experience (Num 13:29). Stop meditating on your feeling of rejection, nurture your possibility of success and it shall be well with you. Even to pray well, you must know the word of G.o.d. The word of G.o.d is the will of G.o.d. How can you pray without knowing the bible?

1 John 5:14-15

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us:

And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the pet.i.tions that we desired of him.

You can't have a prayer life without having a word life first. That is why we come to church to learn about G.o.d's wisdom.

Some think fasting and praying will replace a personal responsibility of study and meditation on the word of G.o.d. The devil portrayed in the bible is a conquered devil. You will not know how to pray until you know the word. Solomon knew how to pray the will of G.o.d. G.o.d gave Solomon an open ticket

I Kings 3:5-10.

In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and G.o.d said, Ask what I shall give thee.

And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.

And now, O LORD my G.o.d, thou hast made thy servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in.

And thy servant is in the midst of thy people which thou hast chosen, a great people, that cannot be numbered nor counted for mult.i.tude.

Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?

And the speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing.

Solomon prayed the purpose of G.o.d. Don't pray amiss. He did not tell G.o.d to kill his enemy or that G.o.d should give him money, but he prayed that G.o.d should give him wisdom to lead the people of G.o.d, wisdom to do his a.s.signment very well. He made his a.s.signment the number one priority.

Joy and strength is in doing G.o.d's a.s.signment. You don't need your enemies to die before you are blessed.

Psalm 23:5.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Food is sweet, when your enemy is around. When you pray well, your vision becomes clearer and as you picture your desired future, you accomplish your dream of greatness. You will never rise beyond your dream. G.o.d told Abraham to count the stars.

Genesis 15:5

And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

Proverbs 29:18

Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

Revelation is always ahead of information. Revelation minus action is decoration. Therefore picture your desired future. Start to take serious G.o.d planted desires of your heart. Your word will control whatever is happening around your life. G.o.d does not want you to hear the word alone but also to be a doer; for talk is cheap.

G.o.d will hold you responsible for what you know or what you are capable of knowing if you care

Luke 12:48 48

But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

So there is a responsibility that knowledge confers. You are held to a higher standard by G.o.d and men. This was the error of Ananias and Sapphira. To live to the fullness of your life, you must co-operate with the anointing.

Acts 5:1-2

But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,

And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet.

Every time people have problem of finances, they have family problems. Ananias wanted to show that he was committed as a leader and be in the good book of Peter. But G.o.d judged their hypocrisy They were not working as a team. Why should G.o.d kill them over their money? G.o.d will demand a higher standard from you, for every word that you have heard.

Therefore keep G.o.d's charge because no matter the confession, no matter the prayer, the blessing will be limited for the disobedient. David, a wise man, instructed Solomon to keep the statute of the Lord.

1 Kings 2:3

And keep the charge of the LORD thy G.o.d, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself:

The charge includes instructions of heaven that G.o.d has commissioned to your hand. There are five things in keeping G.o.d's charge.

Walk in His ways: G.o.d has a way of doing things, which you must abide with.

G.o.d will not put competence ahead of faithfulness.

G.o.d will not do what you can do for yourself.

Jesus told Martha, to remove the stone, for Lazarus to come back to life. Until you draw near to G.o.d, He will not draw near to you (James 4:7). Develop yourself; some are learning nothing in life.

Learn; there are many things you should know how to do, so open your eyes and learn; be studious. Keep G.o.d's ways of doing things, the world has a way of doing things; cheating, lying, corruption, deception. Don't join them.

Many times people persecute you for doing the right things. I better be persecuted for doing the right than to be doing it wrong. It is not a little thing that will destroy my future.

Beloved, G.o.d has a way of blessing you. Some today are laying claim to great testimony but no one but themselves, G.o.d and the devil knows what has happened behind the scene. Don't sell yourself in order to be connected to men. Our glory is not in people, connect to G.o.d first. He can make your enemy to bless you. Connecting to G.o.d is the greatest connection. When men play G.o.d in your life, G.o.d will be robbed of his desired praises and thanksgiving.

David was instructing Solomon, he knew the calamity that befell him when he stayed behind on one occasion. David became wearied, he had succeeded. When you have succeeded, be careful because success makes bondage of people than failure. Before they succeeded, they prayed and when they have succeeded, they stopped praying. David stepped out of G.o.d's best and stayed behind when the ark of G.o.d and the army were in the battlefront. The devil tempted him and arranged him for failure. A woman was taking her bath late because her husband was in the battle. David saw her and l.u.s.ted after her nakedness until he had no control over his pa.s.sion. The woman sent to him that she was pregnant, and David had to send for the husband to cover up his track. But Urias refused to go to his house. Despite the fact that they got him drunk. Urias said he could not see himself sleeping with his wife when the ark of G.o.d and Joab were in the battle. He was more committed than David. When he could not be persuaded, David gave him a parcel bomb. G.o.d allowed David to have his way, the track was covered but G.o.d returned to deal with David.

May your love abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ (Philippians 1:9-10)

Know what to do and what not to do. Keep G.o.d's judgments, this is G.o.d's wisdom. You cannot be wiser than G.o.d; G.o.d's wisdom is a product of his thought

Isaiah 55:8-9

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

G.o.d is not thoughtless. He is not senseless. He sees the total picture so his plans are beyond the immediate. G.o.d's plan are full proof, they can't fail. Many times we think G.o.d is not reasonable in the perspective of our mind. But G.o.d knows what He is saying and doing.

Keep his testimony. Don't let the test you go through waste. G.o.d wants to reward the test so you may have a testimony to give. The more victory you have the more confidence and faith you have. What He did in the past, He can do it in our future. Saul would not have given David the chance to fight the giant, if not for the testimony in the mouth of David. Don't allow the devil to destroy your testimony. You must constantly remind the devil and yourself that the G.o.d of my past is still the G.o.d of my future. If this sickness did not kill me two years ago because G.o.d healed me, it can't kill me today. G.o.d does not change (Heb. 13:8, Mal. 3:6). When Saul heard the testimony of David

1 Samuel 17:37

... The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.

He allowed David to go. Saul's ammunition could not work for David. He said 'I have not proved it', for the day of the battle is not the day of testing weapon. To go to battle, you must go to training first. To go to battle without being trained is a suicide mission. G.o.d already trained him in the back side of the wilderness. David used what he has, a rounded stone. He picked five stones but used one. When the giant saw him, he derided David. He cursed him in the name of his G.o.d.

Beloved the battle of life is a battle of words. When he spoke David also spoke. Don't allow the enemy to have the last word. David did not keep quiet. He said "… but I come in the name of the Lord"

1 Samuel 17:46

This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a G.o.d in Israel.

Beloved to turn your wisdom to wealth in these last days, you must know how to speak. Speak well in the place of prayer, stay in the word and keep the charge of G.o.d. It shall be well with you.
