"I should have listened to you guys." He said to Liam and Jimmy. The other family members were confused but they didn't tell them anything for they didn't want them to get worried. After some time she regained consciousness. James sat beside her and asked her softly, "Are you alright?" She nodded in response.
"Don't worry about me." She said weakly
"How can we not worry? You fainted suddenly. What happened?" Chloe asked and came behind James.
"Nothing I was just tired and was feeling dizzy." She said and sat up.
"Do you remember anything?" James asked hesitantly. She shook her head.
"About what?" Chrystal asked in confusion.
"Nothing just something we talked about." James said in a rush leaving everyone confused.
"Do you feel better now?" Ryan asked worriedly. She nodded in response and smiled softly.
"Can you attend the party? We can cancel the party if you don't feel like." Chloe asked but she shook her head.
"You guys go ahead I'll come after some time. I just need some rest." She said with a smile. They all listened to her and told her to take care and then went downstairs.
She was kind of relieved when they left. She got up from the bed and stood near the window. She took a deep breath and opened that page which was in her hand. She started reading it. It was the letter Noah wrote for her before he left and it said, "Hi baby, I know that you're going to be angry at me for leaving you but I just think this is what's right. I feel that we don't belong together. It's better for everyone if we don't see each other ever again. I love you and only you and that's why I can do anything to protect you, to get you out of this h.e.l.l even if I have to step into it. I don't think I can love anyone as I loved you or whether I'll ever fall in love again. But I just want you to know that I'm doing it to protect you so please don't ever come after me. I don't want to see you again cause I can't see you get hurt again especially because of me. I'm sorry but it's only because I love you more than myself. I'm ready to give up myself for you. You belong in the Rong family so it's better if we both stay where we belong and never fight with our destinies again. Goodbye..."
She was motionless after reading this. She looked up and took a deep breath and grabbed a candle from the table nearby and burnt the letter. She just watched quietly as the letter caught fire and soon turned into ashes in front of her. She put on a smile again and walked downstairs.
The whole hall was filled with guests who were mostly business partners or close friends. The media was also present at the moment. Everyone clapped as she walked down the stairs. James announced that she was Aaron's biological daughter and the new heir of the Rong Empire. He declared that she was taking over the whole business, she was the new president. Everyone clapped on hearing the news and the reporters starting taking pictures and asking questions. Their night was spent in this chaos- there were interviews and discussions with other business partners, then the cake cutting ceremony took place, they all gave gifts to her. Everyone was happy and enjoyed it a lot.
By the end, they all were h.e.l.la tired and straight away went to their rooms to rest. Aria went to her room and changed into some comfortable clothes and got ready for bed. She slept fast for it was a very tiring day.
The next day she was going to the office after having breakfast when she heard the news headlines of the news playing on the TV that James was watching, "A series of kills took place in Asia, all of which were similar to one another. They are suspected to be performed by the same person. A feeling of fear is created among people across Asia."
She glanced at the TV and it showed a picture of a guy dressed in black holding a knife. It was an imaginary picture of the killer. She smiled and walked outside.
"See you soon baby." She said as she walked outside the palace...
