Opposite Worlds 31 A Normal Day

"Ya! leave the soft toy." He said s.n.a.t.c.hing it away from her.

"What the...what's wrong with you?" She shouted.

"I.. I just don't like it." He said and sat beside her. She was confused at his reaction but next he smiled as she figured out that he was jealous of 'a soft toy'.

"Are you jealous?" She asked controlling her laughter.

"NO!" He shouted immediately. She burst out of laughter at his reaction.

"You're so cute when you're jealous." She said and placed her one arm around his neck and with the other hand she pressed his cheeks and pecked on his cheek.

"Babe I'm hungry." She said with a pout.

"Ok I'll cook for you." He said getting up and before he turned he pecked on her lips .

"What was that for?" She said in confusion and anger.

"Cause you looked extremely cute." He said coming closer to her face. She hid her face with her hands due to embarra.s.sment. He smiled and patted her head. After that he started cooking.

"I'll help you." She said.

"Don't you dare." He said before she even fully got up and had to sit back in disappointment.

He continued cooking and also lecturing her about how she doesn't care about herself. She kept looking at him and smiled.

"I love you." She said suddenly in between his words. He was kind of shocked and turned to see her smiling at him.

"I am lecturing you and you're smiling, am I a fool?" He complained.

"No I didn't mean that." She said and rushed to him, cupped his cheeks, and said, "You're the first person to lecture me this way and care for me so I'm just happy."

"Really?" He asked and she nodded.

"Why did you come here you're injured?" He said in a serious tone.

"Cause you misunderstood me." She said with a sad look.

"OK I'm sorry." He said hugging her and then suddenly carried her and made her sit on the counter.

"Now sit here and tell me how to cook." He said making a cute face.

"You don't know?" She asked and was shocked. He shook his head as a 'no'.

"Ok fine." She said and guided him. He followed her advice and started cooking 'for real' this time. The food was ready but in a long time because it was his first time so he was extremely cautious and he didn't let her help him. He placed the food on the table and she was about to get off the counter but he appeared and carried her to the table.

"I can walk on my own."

"But I don't want you to." He said and started eating leaving her speechless. She smiled and started cooking.

Then they, I mean 'he' cleaned the dished. Later on, they went to bed and he insisted on sleeping together ...' just sleeping'. She agreed after he promised not to do anything. And they were on the bed under the same sheets. He slept quickly as he was tired but she couldn't. She looked at him and thought," I wish I could just live a normal life with you and I promise I'll make it happen ." He turned over to her and she quickly turned the other side as she panicked that she got caught while staring at him.

"Just sleep babe or I'll do something that I shouldn't." He said but actually he was just joking just to make her sleep.

"I can't." She said helplessly.

"Turn over." He ordered and she did although she was a bit confused and scared. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer, his head buried in her hair and she could feel his breath.

"Now sleep." He said and she smiled. Somehow she felt really relaxed in his arms and fell asleep as soon as she closed her eyes.
