In Dreams Chapter 4 Part2

Chapter 4.2

Surprised by his actions, I momentarily stopped breathing.

‘What, what is he doing?!’

Suddenly, his hand drifted towards my forehead and checked my temperature. With sweat covering my forehead, my physical appearance was demoted to unattractive. I stiffly looked at him and attempted to cover my face. Jung Hwanwoo chuckled at my actions. 

Similar to my dreams, his smile brought forth sunshine to my dark thoughts. Even on TV, his laughs triggered chuckles from others. Sometimes, a single smile would cause me to writhe in happiness within the dreams. But, unlike the fantasies, his real self only laughed for a brief moment. He quickly resumed his expressionless appearance, and coughed awkwardly attempted to pretend he hadn’t laughed. His hands fumbled around the blanket and pulled it closer to my chin. 

“Don’t fall asleep, you still have to take your medications.”

He turned around to retrieve the pills, exposing his broad back to me. I stared at him and admired his wide shoulders and muscular back.  

‘What the h.e.l.l is going on?’

As Jung Hwanwoo continued to care for me, the difference between dream and reality began to blur. The more he laughed, the more the line vanished. Lost in his affection, I giggled at his change of att.i.tude and snuggled into the sheets. I breathed in his scent and gripped the blanket closer to my nose. All these distractions diverted my attention from the pain, and I closed my eyes. Mid-sniff, I suddenly realized the absurdness of my actions.

“I don’t like it… I don’t …”

I murmured in disbelief, I couldn’t believe the direction of my thoughts and actions. Suddenly, I felt a presence on my left side. His body heat tangled with mine and enveloped my sense of smell. At first, neither of us moved, then I uncovered the blanket after some time.He noticed my movements and gently placed his hand on my forehead again. I closed my eyes and felt him lightly trace the outline of my face. When his fingers approached my lips and returned to my cheek, I felt the urge to nuzzle closer to his hand. Although I wanted to restrain myself, I had lost control of my body. My face leaned towards his hand and I felt him slightly stroke me. Suddenly, a smooth voice rippled through the sensual air.

“I can’t…”

Realizing that Jung Hwanwoo had whispered this, I woke up from my thoughts. Embarra.s.sed by my confusion between fantasy and reality, I couldn’t believe my mistake. I wanted to open my eyes and look at him, but I was somehow unable to. It was like my eyelids were glued shut. All of a sudden, I felt some pressure on my lips and his tongue slipped into my mouth. A cold liquid soon followed after, quenching my dry throat.

Shocked, I was unable to tell what was real or fake. Having him kiss me felt like a dream, but I knew that Jung Hwanwoo was next to me. All I knew for sure was that he was next to me. 

This has to be a dream.

Due to my shock, I almost choked on the water in my throat. I luckily managed to swallow down the liquid successfully and captured his tongue with mine. Regaining control of my body, my hands reached towards the back of his neck and pulled him closer to me. His body stilled from my sudden response and I smirked at his actions. We briefly parted and he whispered to me. 

“For this sudden kiss, are you ready for the next step?”

I froze at the question he asked. Typically, in the dreams, we would already be nude on the bed and our actions would’ve been much more sensual. Currently, we were both fully clothed and we’ve only had this timid kiss. In fact, I was even wearing his clothes. Could my fantasies have evolved into delusions, where Jung Hwanwoo was my lover, not a simple s.e.x friend? I a.s.sumed this was the case and slightly frowned. If I wake up now, then I would have to deal with a colder version of Jung Hwanwoo. But, if I continued with the dream, then I would be able to feel pleasure and relieve some stress that has built up. 

“Why are you asking? I am a tad tired but since this is a dream…”

“Now, wait a minute.”

Suddenly, he put some distance between us and looked at me. Still in a mischievous mood, my eyes sparkled and tempted him to continue kissing. At the sight of my att.i.tude, Jung Hwanwoo frowned and appeared uncertain. He sat up and looked away. Frustrated by his lack of actions, I took off his shirt and pulled him towards me. I began to kiss the side of his neck, and lightly bit his collarbone. Fl.u.s.tered, Jung Hwanwoo attempted to free himself but failed to do so. Instead, his actions furthered our arousals, our c.o.c.ks hardening with his every move. He groaned and attempted to persuade me to let go of him. 

“Ah. I think you’re mistaking me for someone else!”

I chuckled in response and continued to kiss his neck. How could I confuse him when I hear his voice a million times in my dreams and reality? I could never mistake his voice and body, I love them so much. Clearly, this was Jung Hwanwoo, there is no way I…..

Suddenly, my fantasy bubble burst. I turned towards his shirt on the side of the bed and noticed that it was the same knitted sweater he changed into. Glancing around the room, I noticed that everything about the room was similar to Jung Hwanwoo’s real room. From his bluish walls to the aristocratic atmosphere the house radiated, everything signaled that this was the real world. Still in disbelief, I turned towards my left and noticed the cl.u.s.ter of medications and cups on the side table. With all of this coming together…. It can’t be….

I looked back towards him and noticed him attempting to be calm while blushing extensively. He covered his neck that was moist from my kisses and turned away. I pushed him away and scurried out of the bed. In a state of panic and disbelief, I ran out of the room as if trying to find evidence I was dreaming. 

“Seo Kyujin!”

I fled as quickly as possible, trying to locate an appropriate spot to hide from him. While escaping, I began to plot out my next actions.

‘Be as far from him as possible, the farther the better. And don’t return to the set for now, w.a.n.gho can finish the script. I just need to tell him my current outline for the drama and that should be enough…. No, this may not work. It is hard to get out of scriptwriting in the middle of a drama. I will need to write the script myself and email it to w.a.n.gho, this way the plotline won’t be misguided. As long as I can escape from Jung Hwanwoo, it’ll be fine. If I’m caught in a gay scandal with him, then my life would be ruined. Afterwards, others may pity me, but I’m not sure if he would let me go after such a scandal. If his acting career is ruined…. I….. ’

In the middle of my thoughts, I noticed my belongings laying on the sofa and retrieved it on the way to the door. I rushed towards the exit and tried to open the door. My hands kept fumbling around the locks, delaying my escape until I could finally open the door. Smelling the fresh air, I widened the opening when suddenly the door slammed shut. Behind me, a hand rested next to my head and his breath tickled my ears [1]. The heat from his exhalations brushed past my skin, reminding me of our adventures in the dreams. Feeling his presence, I froze momentarily and was captured by him. After we both calmed down, he asked me a question in a calm manner.

“Where are you going, dressed like that?”

‘Why does he still sound slightly aroused?’

I wondered initially, was he interested in me? I shook my head, erasing the absurd thought from my mind and pondered over what he had asked. 

‘What I’m wearing? What is wrong with my clothes?’

I glanced down and was shocked by my current state. During our brief scuffle, the collar of my loose shirt had been pulled to the side, exposing one of my shoulders. The drawstring holding up my pants was loose, allowing for the rim of my boxers to show. I was fortunate to not fall while fleeing early, as the hem of the pants seemed to be attached to the floor. Hearing no response from me, Jung Hwanwoo sighed and stated.

“Come in, let’s discuss what happened.”

“... I won’t tell you anything.”

I replied back. At the thought of having to explain my dreams, my voice trembled when responding and I soon felt my eyes water. A hot tear fell from my eyes, stimulating further tears to fall. Trying to hide my embarra.s.sment, I turned to the side and attempted to escape. I used my free hand to cover my face when suddenly I was pulled back in front of him. He caught my wrist and pressured me against the door once again, but this time I faced him. Surprised by his actions, I futilely struggled from his grasp and looked down. I didn’t want him to see my crying face. 

“I’m here, don’t try to escape.”

No longer blushing, Jung Hwanwoo used a hand to tilt my chin up and looked in the eyes. I gulped nervously, not knowing what to do. In the end, I nodded my head in response and he guided me towards the couch.
