A Fascinating Marriage With The Colonel Chapter 11 Tough Man Ling Mohan

Qin Shu looked up. She was astonished to see Ling Mohan going upstairs.

She had deliberately left Ling Mohan waiting downstairs. Then she went upstairs and instead of packing up her things, she dawdled. She just wanted the b.a.s.t.a.r.d to taste the feeling of waiting for someone!

She could not forget that she had kept waiting for him for three months!

Ling Mohan, however, got very impatient after waiting for less than 30 minutes. With a long face, he walked to Qin Shu and held her shoulders tightly with his big hands.

He was born with an aggressive look and handsome facial features; his eyebrows were sharp and his eyes were dark and deep.

Moreover, he was tall and strong with long limbs. The white shirt he wore was supposed to make one look serious and stately. However, he had the compelling air of a rascal in the white shirt.

In brief, he had a mixed air that was chilling, evil, and majestic.

Tang Anru finally recovered her senses. She shot a panicked glance at Ling Mohan, and a trace of surprise flashed in her eyes. She then hurriedly asked Yang Bin, "How's your hand?"

Yang Bin also noticed Ling Mohan. He shuddered involuntarily when Ling Mohan's cold eyes swept over him.

But with his G.o.ddess being here, how could he chicken out?

"Who…who are you? Are you with Qin Shu?" Yang Bin straightened his back, trying to look more manly in front of Tang Anru. His thigh muscles, however, trembled uncontrollably.

This Ling Mohan got such an overwhelming air!

As a soldier from the national special forces, he had human blood on his hands, and had encountered so many perilous people and things. He surely got an extraordinary air.

Ling Mohan stretched his long arm and grabbed Yang Bin by the collar. He warned without any expression on his face, "Next time you dare to touch Little Qin Shu, I will break your arms!"

With a sweep of his arm, Ling Mohan flung Yang Bin to the ground. He then said to Qin Shu a little impatiently, "Are you done with the packing? Hurry up and take your computer!"

Qin Shu winked and pointed to the desk using her chin. "There, over there."

"A troublemaker!" Ling Mohan frowned. Grabbing the laptop with one hand, he pulled Qin Shu with the other hand and strode towards the door.

"Wait a minute." Tang Anru's gentle voice sounded behind them.

Qin Shu looked back. Tang Anru bit her lower lip and then had a tender smile on her fair face. "Sir, are you a friend of Qin Shu?"

Ling Mohan stared at her coldly.

Tang Anru felt a chill through her heart, but she kept her smile and spoke in a slightly apologetic tone, "I am sorry, my friend just misunderstood Qin Shu. He didn't mean it. I apologize to you on his behalf. I hope you won't take it to heart."

"What does that have to do with me?" Ling Mohan's att.i.tude was cold and his tone was tough. "You should apologize to Little Qin Shu."

Tang Anru was left in a daze. It seemed that she hadn't expected to be treated by Ling Mohan this way. She hurriedly explained, "I, I...."

With an impatient look on his face, Ling Mohan clutched Qin Shu and left without turning back.

Tang Anru watched the tall figure of Ling Mohan, biting her lower lip lightly. Her eyes flickered as if something went on in her mind.

"Anru, don't worry about me. That man dare not do anything to me."

Yang Bin thought Tang Anru apologized on his behalf for fear that Ling Mohan would retaliate against him. He felt delighted for himself while he also felt sorry for Tang Anru who had been rudely treated by Ling Mohan.

Tang Anru still looked worried, and said in a guilty tone, "It's my fault. I got you into trouble. And this friend of Qin Shu, who is this guy? He looks like a soldier. If he's going to avenge Qin Shu, I'm really afraid that you'll get in trouble because of me."

Hearing Tang Anru's caring words, Yang Bin was overcome with joy. He grabbed her hands, "Rest a.s.sured. I am somewhat somebody in the town. That rascal is just a soldier, a n.o.body. What can he do to me?"

Tang Anru pulled out her hands gently, her pink lips pursed. She said nothing, as if still worried about Yang Bin.

Yang Bin looked at his empty hand and a tinge of regret welled up deep down his heart.

He flared up when he thought about how cool and bossy Ling Mohan was. That guy looked down upon everyone, and he even dared to warn him.

As a man born with a silver spoon in his mouth, he had both money and power. He had not expected that he would lose face in front of his G.o.ddess. He was even scared by an unknown rascal and trembled. It would be a huge joke if anyone else heard about that!

Yang Bin snorted and said disdainfully, "Anru, you see that man didn't even wear his uniform. How could he be a soldier? Maybe he is just a rogue, ganging up with Qin Shu and putting on an act!"

"Is that the case?" A trace of anxiety remained in Tang Anru's voice.

"That must be the case!" Yang Bin pounded his chest, feeling that he recovered some of his pride as a man in front of Tang Anru. "Anru, think about it. Those real soldiers are all righteous-looking, aren't they? But this guy looked just like a rascal!"

"Puff—" Tang Anru was amused. The way she smiled—with her head down—really fascinated Yang Bin.

Yet, somehow, Yang Bin thought of Qin Shu's bright smile. It seemed that there was refreshing spring water in her eyes....
