The old monkey stopped in its tracks and let out a few coughs. The female monkeys and the other monkeys in the village ran out. They were all wearing clothes made of beast fur, shoes, and hats and holding hoes, spatulas, firewood knives, and bamboo cages.

If one did not take a closer look, one would think that they were short and skinny people who were underdeveloped.
