Xiao Jun whined as she was pulled by Yun Long and he took her back to his manor. Making her sit, he had a made go get him some bandages and ointment. The other maids looked at each other and then watched their young master with confused looks.

"What? Haven't seen someone hurt before? Leave!"

The maids all ran out and the maid from before left the tray of bandages and another left the basin of water on the table.

"Calm down... it's just something minor." Xiao Jun examined the man in front of her who was looking at the sc.r.a.pe with a concentrated look.

'Strange... he's usually cold and doesn't show much emotion.. Why so much emotion today?'

He made a sharp click with his tongue and she shut up. "Keep still. Why do you like provoking others?"

'What provoking others? Not my fault you have an eleven year old who takes a liking to you...'

Xiao Jun rolled her eyes while in thought and winced when she felt the ointment being applied. The sc.r.a.pe stung but eventually became numb thanks to the ointment that was applied.

Standing up, she slipped on a small patch of water on the ground and fell, yelling out, she closed her eyes and embraced herself for the hard floor but instead, she fell onto something warm.

Her eyes widened as she felt something soft against her lips and underneath her was Yun Long who held a surprised look as his eyes were open just as wide as hers were.

They had actually made contact! They had..kissed...

The sounds of gasps came from the doorway and Xiao Jun rolled off and stood up before Yun Long coughed awkwardly.

Mei'er just chuckled and pulled Yue Qi away, "W-we didn't see anything!"

Yue Qi kept looking back as he was dragged away and couldn't believe what he had just seen.

Yun Long's face was turning a bit red and he stood up with a whoosh of his sleeves. "Um.. Are you alright?.." he looked over at Xiao Jun and walked over to his desk, avoiding any eye contact with her.

Xiao Jun nodded and then looked at him, "I'll...I'll be leaving now. I have things to do..Thank you.."

She quickly walked out and dragged Mei'er along with her, who was smiling and teasing Xiao Jun.

Yue Qi entered the study where Xiao Jun had just left and then glanced over at his young master.

'Young master... I'm scared.. you won't do that to me.. will you?'

Yue Qi shivered as he hoped his young master didn't take an interest in him.

[A: Yue Qi... you worry too much...]

Yun Long stood up and Yue Qi backed up, he shot a glare at Yue Qi's actions and walked out with a tinge of red on his face. Yue Qi reluctantly followed but when he saw the tinge of embarra.s.sment on Yun Long's face, he dropped the thought of his young master possibly taking a liking to him and walked behind him with his head high.

"Big Brother, have you finally made a move?" Mei'er asked, they were back at their own home and Xiao Jun was sitting outside with a cup of tea in her hand. Choking on her tea, Xiao Jun stared up at the girl and rubbed her chest to soothe the throbbing from before.

"What making a move? I slipped on the water and the next moment, I had fallen on top of him! What making a move..." she exclaimed, mumbling the end as she wiped her lips with her sleeve. Mei'er giggled and Xiao Jun stood up, making Mei'er run into her room and she stuck her tongue out before shutting the door.

Sighing in frustration, Xiao Jun got up and went to get a bath ready for herself as the sun began to set and the warm colors of red, yellow, and orange began to show.

Taking her clothes off, she sat in the bathtub of warm water and thought for a while.

'I wonder how father is..'

Closing her eyes, her mind wandered to her past before she turned 8.
