"You're awake! I was so worried!"

Mei'er helped Xiao Jun up into a sitting position and then glanced back at Yun Long, he avoided eye contact and just coughed. "You...do you feel pain anywhere?"

Xiao Jun shook her head, "Mei'er... how long have I been asleep?"

"For two days now," Mei'er leaned in and then whispered, "That cold man and Yue Qi saved you."

Xiao Jun's eyes widened and then she looked at the slightly fl.u.s.tered Yun Long, he had seen her!

Slowly moving the blanket, she stood up slowly and then bowed a little. "Thank you for helping...Yun Long..."

Yun Long went forward and made Xiao Jun sit back on the bed, "You two leave us..let us talk in private."

Nodding, the two left and went to the courtyard out front.

She looked up at Yun Long and then spoke, "So.. do you know that....I'm.."

"That you're a... girl?" Yun Long nodded and then put the blanket over her. "Why are there people trying to a.s.sa.s.sinate you? I heard them call you Prince and then they said something about killing your family in the Suo Kingdom. Are you perhaps a n.o.ble in Suo Kingdom?"

"You.. heard all of that? How long were you watching?"

Yun Long poured her a cup of tea and then sat on a stool, "I wasn't watching but I sent Yue Qi to come watch over you two since we saw someone trailing Mei'er earlier. Yue Qi had heard what the man said to you in the room and rushed back to me. Then we came just in time to see you faint and Yue Qi took care of the last man."

Taking the cup, Xiao Jun thanked him and slowly took a sip.

'How was she to explain this?'

"Well.. I am a girl, yes. And about myself... I am n.o.bility from the Suo Kingdom. I'm part of the highest ranking family in Suo." Xiao Jun said, looking up at Yun Long to see if he understood her.

"Highest ranking family.. you're the daughter of the Suo Emperor and Empress? But it's said that they don't have a daughter. "

Sighing, Xiao Jun set her cup down and pulled the blanket over her tightly, "When I was young, my twin brother was a.s.sa.s.sinated and I took on the ident.i.ty as a Prince, stubborn child I was. I insisted even after my mother asked me not to. The reason why you probably didn't know that they had a daughter is also because they kept it under wraps as I am their one and only daughter..."

Yun Long just watched as the girl in front of him sat quietly as her vision focused on one point on the floor. Thinking back to their past encounters, he laughed inside at how he had failed to notice her subtle actions that would've gave her away if he had paid attention.

"Feng Xiao Jun!" a male voice yelled, a girl ran into the room and Xiao Jun's eyes widened. It was Feng w.a.n.g Wei and her personal maid, Yue. Feng w.a.n.g Wei was older then Xiao Jun by 7 years.

Yun Long stood and moved to the side, getting up, Xiao Jun reached out for Yue and Yue quickly held her miss's hand. "Yue, what are you doing here? Why did Third Brother bring you here?"

"Princess, his majesty ordered for you to be escorted back as news had been brought back about a.s.sa.s.sination attempts on you." Yue answered, glancing over her miss worriedly.

Nodding slightly, Xiao Jun sighed, it had been less then a year and so much had happened.

w.a.n.g Wei walked over and then spoke after having spotted Yun Long, "Are you alright? Who is he?"

"I'm alright. He's General Huo, someone I met in the forest not too long after arriving in Han."

Yun Long's brows knitted together, "How did you know that I'm General Huo?"

Smiling and lightly laughing, Xiao Jun pointed to the pendant on his waist. "Only the young General Huo would own a pendant with a fire carving. Also, Yue Qi's sword has the character for 'Huo' engraved into it."

'This man isn't as cold as he was when we met. He has changed a bit..'

"Alright, alright. Yue, help the princess get changed. General Huo, let us go out and talk. Just us men." w.a.n.g Wei smiled and then walked out with Yun Long, carrying a hidden look in his eyes as Yue smiled a little.

Yue shut the doors and then helped Xiao Jun put on a dress that was long and flowed nicely. The sleeves were made of gauzy material to allow air through and Yue left her hair down, braiding a few strands and then tied them off with golden colored metal pieces.

The dress was colored white with golden thread and finally, Yue put Xiao Jun's crown on her. The crown met in the middle of her forehead and the color was all golden.

"Princess, it has been so long since Yue has seen you dressed like this. It truly is a shame you have hidden your beauty for so long. You are already pa.s.sed the desired marriage age." Yue sighed, Xiao Jun pursed her lips and flicked Yue on the forehead.

"Let's go. I want to introduce you to someone. She'll come with us."

Yue helped Xiao Jun up and they walked outside. w.a.n.g Wei smiled as he saw Xiao Jun, "My little sister is back to being a princess. Greetings to my little sister, 4th Princess."

Xiao Jun smiled and then rolled her eyes, "Still trying to act all formal. Come with me, I want to ask someone if they want to come with us."

Raising an eyebrow, w.a.n.g Wei followed her and Yun Long followed shortly after snapping back to attention.

Mei'er sat in her room after leaving the room and specifically told Yue Qi not to go bother the two.

The door opened and an unfamiliar person walked in.

Yue stood with her body bowed towards the door.

"You! Who are you?" Mei'er questioned, Yue Qi stood up defensively and took a stance in front of Mei'er. From the door, Yun Long walked in and Yue Qi relaxed, his eyebrows raising in wonder at the man that followed Yun Long. He looked to be from the Suo Kingdom, they were known for their less conservative attire and exquisite accessories.

Mei'er gaped at the pretty girl that followed.

'Strange, why does she look like Big Sister?'

"General.. who are these people?" Yue Qi asked, Yun Long looked back at them and then offered seats. Wei w.a.n.g sat down and Xiao Jun naturally sat as well.

"Don't be rude. Give your greetings to the 3rd Prince and 4th Princess of the Suo Kingdom."

Yue Qi's eyes widened at Yun Long's words and he cupped his hands, bowing in front of the two as Mei'er curtsied. "Greetings to the 3rd Prince and 4th Princess!"

"But.. where's Big Sister Xiao Jun?" Mei'er looked around and then glanced at Yun Long. Yun Long just looked away and then sat down.

Xiao Jun stood up and walked towards Mei'er. Mei'er looked down and Xiao Jun laughed, she flicked Mei'er on the forehead. "Hey, I dress like a proper girl and you don't recognize me? Can't recognize your own benefactor?"

Mei'er looked up and squinted her eyes to get a good look at Xiao Jun. She gasped, "You! You! You are the 4th Princess of the Suo Kingdom?! Why didn't you tell me? Wahhh~ Look! You look better in bright clothes instead of dull grey robes!"

Wei w.a.n.g gave a quiet snicker and then cleared his throat, "My little sister seems to want to ask if you'd like to come with us to the Suo Kingdom."

Holding Xiao Jun's hands, she asked, "Are you speaking seriously? You want me to come with you?"

"What? You don't want to?" Xiao Jun said, giving a sad look.

"I want! I want to! I don't want to leave you ever!" Mei'er quickly responded, a big smile on her face as someone began to sulk quietly in their heart.
