Due to quite a lot of prodding, I've decided to make prologues and epilogues part of my short stories. I'm posting the prologue but here's a sneak peek from one of the chapters to come =) I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all my loyal (and brand new) readers for their amazing support. I appreciate every bit of help (be it criticism, praise, suggestions etc) – you have no idea. Don't read on if you're underage (yada yada) ;)
xoxo,
Nickel

“Colin? I feel so awful lying to you so I have to tell you what happened today,” Frankie blurted out, nervously cracking her knuckles as she stared at her boyfriend from one side of the living room.
Colin's bright blue eyes danced. “What is it, sweetheart?”
“I…I b.u.mped into my ex-husband in the elevator today.”
“And?”
Frankie exhaled. “And we had s.e.x. In the elevator.”
There was an interminable silence before Colin smiled. “We'll work through this, honey. Don't worry.”
“Work through this?” she spluttered in disbelief. “How? How can we, when all I want is for him to do it again? And again, and again, and again, and…” She trailed off, sighing.
It pained her to see Colin's hurt expression, but then again, it pained her to know that Konstantin had made her climax in that elevator more times than Colin had in their whole relationship…
Francesca hasn't seen her ex-husband, Konstantin, in almost two years after their surprisingly quick divorce. Good riddance to bad rubbish is how she sees it. Does she miss their lavish lifestyle? h.e.l.l, no. Does she miss the s.e.x with her sinfully s.e.xy husband? Definitely. But after two years of being apart, is the spark hot enough to light a Bunsen burner? Konstantin seems to think so, and if there's something Frankie remembers about her dangerously seductive husband, it's that he always gets what he wants.
