Ryouta had 7 days to learn a language. He knew that the G.o.d didn't expect much from him. Usually, it takes months to learn a language. If a person spends 10 hours a day to learn a language they should have basics down in 48 days. Sign language takes years to master

Ryouta has gotten a book on sign language. He started reading it. nonstop. Everything from workouts to eating all he did was focus on sign language "

Right now it was social studies cla.s.s and Mari who was sitting next to Ryouta was worried because he wasn't paying attention. He was just reading his book and the teacher looks p.i.s.sed off. She tried to signal him to pay attention to the teacher. However, he was in his own world.

Usually after school Ryouta would do some sports but he just did some light training at the STC. He didn't want to stop his language learning. Too much as he would like to he didn't have time to train his brother so he made plans to do that later.

***A week later***

Ryouta met up with Souya.

"Souysama I have worked hard and I learned JSL(j.a.panese sign language). Ryouta spoke in JSL.

Souya was shocked "You learned it...in a week?"

Ryouta just nodded"It was what you asked me to do to become your apprentice" Ryouta eyes sparkled

Souya didn't know how to respond. He originally expected Ryouta to fail and it was going to be a lesson on knowing the limitations on your ability and try to take things slow just like this game it takes time to master. It takes hard work and the work he put into learning the sign language were not going to be in vain. He also wanted Ryouta to think outside of the box on what he meant when he asked him to speak in sign language and to ask questions...but never did he think this kid would learn a language in a week..

He could only smile and say

Souya just laughed and said "ok we have lots of paperwork to do also I would like to meet your parents" Ryouta face went pale but he introduced him to his parents. Then there was an announcement that the G.o.d of shogi has an apprentice.

Ryouta days were pretty full. He had cla.s.ses Monday-Sat.u.r.day. Sat.u.r.day is half of the day of cla.s.s. He trained hard shogi in the evening and had some matches. Ryouta tried to train his brother but he would always run away before he could. Only having Aki on his mind. Well, that was the case until something happens and he seemed to hate her. He looked at Ryouta asking him to train him. So Ryouta told him to go seek Their grandfather and he will train him...A few days later he left to live with their grandfather.

After a few days, Ryouta went to the Adagaki house and asked if she hurt his brother She denys saying she doesn't even know his family...Because she denies his little brother so much. Ryouta knew she they must have had a fight with him. Thinking one of them confessed to the other and they were refused. Ryouta decided not to involve himself with her which he will regret later on...

Ryouta dance partner Mizuki no longer wanted to ballroom dance and wanted to try break dancing with a friend of hers. So Ryouta would hang out at his friends Kai Ichinose because he would start baseball and soccer soon. Keika has visited him a few times talking about shogi. He knew she was a shogi otaku so he didn't mind.

Ryouta did other things like his technology and stuff and he was making a killing. On new years the family went to the shrine and Ryouta ran into the Yuya it was awkward between the two.

Like that 2 years had pa.s.sed.
