A Journey Through The Worlds 23 The Huge Cave.

"Oh yeah, I asked Robert to take me to the ships today, who wants to come" Dan asked after remembering about it.

"I will go" Randy said as soon as Dan finished his words, he didn't really have a lot of things to do, and he found staying at the underground palace quite boring so he decided to follow him.

"Me too, I never saw a ship before" Any said.

"Yeah you seem better now you aren't as weak as you used to be so I think that going out is going to be a good thing for you" her brother Robin said that with a gentle smile.

Any complexion did become better after the blood bath; her face wasn't as pale as before, even though it was still white from her not going out a lot but her white skin had a hint of healthy redness, making it obvious that she was better than before.

"What about you brother, won't you come with us" Any asked her brother, it seemed from his words that he didn't want to go with them.

"Yeah I won't go I just started feeling my power again, I will rest for today, and who knows maybe after tonight blood bath I might be able to use my ability again" when he finished his words he turned his head to Dan and said:

"Dan you won't have to wait for my answer tonight I will be awaiting your help with the body tampering technique"

His words were a surprise to Dan but he smiled and said:

"Ok, don't worry I won't forget it"

Any didn't try changing her brother's mind, as first she knew that if he decided on something, no one can change his mind and second, she didn't want to appear as if she didn't trust Dan.

"Don't look at us, even though she's somehow able to control her ability it's not perfect we still have a lot of work to do" Nero said.

His words made Katherine somehow sad, she too wanted to see the ships with Any and the others, but she also knew that the most important thing for her at that time, was to control her ability so she didn't say anything.

"What about you Leonard do you want to come" Dan then turned his head to Leonard and asked.

Leonard hesitated for a bit, but after his eyes fall on Katherine he said:

"I think that I will stay, I want to take a look at how Katherine is training, after all I too will awake an ability and I will need to know those things"

"Ok it's decided then, but let leave that for later, now let us try our new powers" Dan said.

They then moved to a room that the blood power users used for training.

In that room there was many training equipment Dan moved toward some weights, well weighs wasn't really the right word as they were just big chunks of iron and steel, the lightest of them weighed probably around fifty or sixty kilogram, he tried lifting one of those that seemed to weight around seventy kg or so, he stood with his legs spread a little before putting power in his back and trying to lift the chunk of steel, the result was...

He almost fall, the weight was so light for him and with him putting all his power in it, the chunk of steel left his hand flew for almost three meters in the air before falling to the ground.

When the chunk of steel left his hands Dan thought that he had judged incorrectly and that it might have weighed less than he though it has, but when it fall to the ground the shaking and the sound that it made showed that it wasn't it that was light but him that was strong.

Nero just watched as that happened, than he moved to the chunk of steel that Dan dropped, he tried lifting it, and he was able to do it easily, but he still had to put some of his power in it, when he threw it to the ground he looked at Dan and said:

"You freak, forget about any danger, you better help me with that technique of yours tonight"

Then everyone tried lifting the same chunk of steel, they all were able to do it, it's just that the effort that they had to put into it was different, Randy and Leonard had the same power as Nero, while Robin had to put much more effort as his body was still somehow injured, Katherine and Any also were able to move it easily.

When They ended everyone showed happy expressions especially Any he face was beaming with happiness; she had a weak body since she was small so being able to lift such a heavy weight was unthinkable for her.

Dan then moved to a bigger chunk of steel that seemed as if it weighed around one hundred and fifty kg, this time he didn't use all his power at once, but he put his hands around it and started trying to left it slowly while adding power, in the end he was able to lift it with some power still remaining in his body.

After him, everyone else tried to lift it, they also were able to do it but they had to use their full power to do so, Any for example fall down while breathing heavily after she threw that big chunk of steel to the floor.

"Ok we understood our powers better now, so everyone return to what you should be doing, and to those that want to go with me to see the ships take a rest we will leave three hours from now" seeing how they were Dan didn't try to lift another heavier one instead he asked them to return to what they were doing before.

Nero Leonard and Katherine left on their own while Robin and his sister left to rest, and just like that Dan was left alone in the training room.

When everyone was gone he moved toward a huge chunk of steel that seemed as if it weighted more than two hundred kg or so, he moved toward it separated his legs a little and put his hands around it before he started lifting it.

Soon the ma.s.s of steel left the ground, vines were bulging in Dan's arms and forehead, but he was able to lift it.

A few seconds later he threw the ma.s.s to the ground making it shaking and crack, showing just how heavy it was, Dan stood on his place and looked at the cracked floor, the huge ma.s.s of steel before looking at his hands, he couldn't believe that he had just done that, that he had lifted such a big ma.s.s of metal.

He shook this head and made himself remember the power of dragons that could threw something that heavy just as if they were throwing a feather, remembering about that the hot-headedness and pride that filled him from seeing how he was able to lift that ma.s.s of steel and how he was more powerful than any of the other five disappeared and he returned to the calm serious Dan.

He returned to his room calmed himself and started thinking about what they would need in their long journey through the ocean, he thought for a while and made a mantle note of everything he thought they needed before setting down and looking at the drops of dragon blood in the little bottle.

He wished for more blood, the memories in his head of people fighting dinosaurs bare-handedly were something he wanted, not just for himself but for the other six and everyone that might follow him.

And then he started thinking about his group, they were just a bunch of people bought together by chance, and they had no sense of belonging to each other, but that wasn't what he wanted he wanted them to think about themselves as a part of one group, one team, that's what he wanted them to think about.

As his mind kept on going from one thing to the other he didn't notice before he heard old Frank's voice as he along with some knocks on his room's door:

"Sir Dan, it's time to go to the ships, the others are already they are only waiting for you"

Old Frank's voice returned him to his senses and hurriedly got up fixed his clothes and left the room.

When he did he found old Frank waiting for him there.

"Hey old Frank how was your morning" Dan asked.

"It was great, thanks for asking, now please follow me he others are already waiting for you" old Frank answered, before he started moving.

He was actually quite happy, in the last few days after Dan and the others took control of the gang he was beige treated in a better way than before, it was because he was the one in the whole gang with a good relationship with them.

Dan nodded his head and followed old Frank they talked as they moved toward the place where the others were.

"You are quite late" Randy said as soon as he saw Dan enter the room.

"Sorry I was somehow lost in my thought in my own room, so I kind of forget entirely about time" Dan said apologetically as he looked at everyone that was there.

As expected Randy Any and Robert were all there, the thing that surprised Dan was seeing Barry there with them.

"Barry you want to follow us too" Dan asked Barry withal smile.

"Y... Yes I want to go with you sir, if you let me I mean" Barry said wig trembling voice.

"Of course you can, old Frank are those all" Dan said.

"Yes sir"

"Ok lead the way then"

They then moved for a while before finding themselves in front of a dark tunnel, the tunnel seemed man made, it was two meters and half tall and a meter and half wide.

"This is the tunnel leading to the ships, it was dug by us and the blood power users, it is more than two km long and it leads straight to the cave where the ships are kept, it took us one year to make, in that one year many people died because of exhaustion and hunger before we were able to finish it" old Frank said with a long sigh, then he returned to his sense and added as he looked at the people with him:

"Well that was a long time ago, let's get moving then"

The tunnel was dark and hummed, if it weren't for the blood baths that they had, maybe the weak bodied Any, and the modern day Dan wouldn't have been able to handle it, for Randy on the other hand, it would have been quite easy even without the blood bath as no matter what world it is soldiers always go through bad and horrible situations in their training, especially the elites.

They moved like that for a while, but even though the place was kind of creepy they forget about it as they were talking and having fun while walking.

They soon saw a light in the end of the tunnel, Robert said after he saw it:

"It seem that we are finally there"

After leaving the tunnel they found themselves inside a big cave, the inside of the cave was huge it gave them a shock, especially to Any that never saw something like that before, the inside of the cave was lit using torches.

As the three that were there for the first time were looking around them with interest lost themselves in the great scenery before them they heard Robert panicked voice behind them:

"Wait isn't it supposed to be day already why is it so dark here where is the sun" when he finished talking he looked at the others in panic but then he saw that the only one that was panicking was him, and that the others were looking at him calmly.
