"Mom! What are those men doing?"

"Hush! Those are the Deities! Don't let them hear you talk about them! If you want, you can quietly stare."

Despite him being at the tender age of 12, he was already at the 10th stage of Dantian Formation. He continued to stare fervently at the Deities gathered not too far away.

"Get ready! Gung Minh and his group have gone ahead to attract the Golden Divine dragon! Once it comes, we will slaughter it!"

The group of Deities threw out roars that shook the hearts of the nearby locals.

"Here it comes!"

The Golden Divine dragon rushed at the Deities at the speed of light.

"Divine s.p.a.ce Locking Formation!"

The leader of the group shouted as all the Deities pulled out their array flags.

Golden Blue Lights shimmered as Variant Force energy was inserted into the array forming a lattice pattern, like a mouse trap ready to be triggered at any time.

The Golden Divine Dragon roared and struck out at it with all of its might. The array shook but otherwise it did not have any other effect.

"Quickly! Surround it!"

As the Dragon was surrounded, the Deities went red with greed as they imagined the wealth that this dragon could bring them once they killed it. As they were to busy fantasizing their victory and future wealth, the dragon pulled out a small 10 foot talisman (Keep in mind this thing is like 1 million feet long) and crushed it.

The sky darkened in the sky almost immediately after.

"Hm...?"

One of the Deities looked up at the sky and noticed azure storm clouds gathering.

"Heavenly Tribulation?!!! What bad luck!"

"Quickly! Finish it off!"

All of the deities took out their Supreme Grade Divine Artifacts and started to launch their fiercest attacks upon the helpless Dragon.

The heavens shook and s.p.a.ce collapsed from this battle of epic proportions.

All of a sudden, a booming roar of anguish sounded out. In a few seconds, all the surrounding villagers had died. Blood was flowing through the streets as the result of the shock waves of the roar. The weaker Deities instantly died and the group of 500 had now been reduced to a mere 50.

"We can't hold the array formation anymore! We don't have enough Variant Force!"

"I curse the heavens!"

Immediately after that exclamation, a roaring face of a dragon seemed to form out of the fabric of reality itself. The deities looked up and exclaimed with horror.

"Chief Sovereign hav-!"

A burst of Golden light came out of the dragon's maw and hit the group of deities. Strangely, the light flowed around the Golden Divine dragon and seemed to form a protective membrane. The light impacted the ground and created a crater with a diameter of about 500 million feet. The deities had all perished.

The Golden Divine Dragon roared triumphantly. It used all of its remaining power and painfully ripped a hole in the void. As it was about to run to safety, a bright violet beam flew into the Golden Divine dragon. Its eyes were filled with despair as it disappeared with a small 10 cm Golden Orb replacing it.

The Golden Era of the Great Gan World had pa.s.sed.
