They could feel the many eyes hiding within the jungle, staring at them.

The other halfling wolf stepped forward and said, "This is the first entrance of the Star Rainforest. We can't go straight ahead as there is a nest of wild brown bears near this entrance."

"Is there no other route?" asked Emperor Augustus.

Though mere brown bears wouldn't be hard to kill, with the effects of chaos energy on them, those ordinary brown bears had most likely mutated to be closer to a monster's strength. With two burdens on them, unless they use divinity, it would be a bit dangerous.

The Wolf Halfling said, "The other routes would also require us to pa.s.s the habitat of the king python and wild boars."

"We should choose the wild boars' route then! Pigs are cuter compared to snakes and bears!" said Zhi Yue.
