My First Diary 6 Chapter 6 - Wake Up!!

Emma suddenly opens her eyes as she sits up and she breaks down into tears,"why is this happening!? Why!?" she pleaded, as minutes pa.s.s her mother walks into her room, turning on the light. "Honey? Emma, are you okay?" asks Emma's mother, clearly worried about Emma, "no, no I am not okay mom, I have a problem" Emma tells her mother, as she wants her help,"tell me what's wrong Emma?" asks Emma's mother, trying to help her,"I.. I get weird nightmares of how I am about to die and how someone is about to murder me... I am scared mom, I am scared to fall asleep" Emma explains to her mom as she is shaking from fright. "Hush, baby, hush, you are awake now, it's not real, don't worry" her mother tries to calm Emma down,"mom?" asks Emma as she slowly stops crying and becomes more and more calm,"yes Emma?" asks her mother back as she is looking for a question that she can help,"should I go to a session of therapy? I have these dreams way too often, maybe it will help me.." Emma tells her idea to her mother,"if you are happy with it then yes, I will see what I can do to arrange a therapy session, for tomorrow" Emma's mother explains to Emma. "Now try to go to sleep again, maybe you will dream something else, okay" Says Emma's mother,"I can't mom, I am way too scared I... I don't know" Emma tells her mother as she begins to cry again,"do you want to sleep in my bed if it will be better?" Emma's mother offers Emma,"and you can wake me up if you have another bad dream okay?" Emma's mother adds,"okay" agrees Emma,"thank you mom" says Emma,"Emma I am your mother, I am here for you" Emma's mother explains to Emma as they hug. Emma and her mother walk into her mother's room, as they lay in the bed, Emma begins to feel a ease, and with a few breaths Emma fell back asleep.

"Emma wake up, Emma...." calls out her mother as she is waking up Emma for school,"you are gonna be late honey, come on!" adds Emma's mother. Emma begins to slowly move around as she regains her consciousnesses. "yes.... mother, I'll... I'll be up in a... minute" Emma tells her mother as she is forcing herself to get up and open her eyes, but with every attempt of her to get up ends up with a collapse back down to the bed,"it's too hard" Emma thinks to herself,"a few more minutes won't hurt". "Come on Emma, honey" Emma's mother calls for Emma, remaining content, but as Emma opens her eyes forcibly and sits up, she gets increasingly frustrated. "Okay, I'm up mother" answers Emma with anger,"well isn't someone not in a mood today" Emma's mother teases Emma,"come-on Emma, get you teeth clean and your clothes on" her mother tells her. "okay, okay mom" answers Emma, Emma gets up onto her feet and begins to walk to the bathroom.

As Emma cleans her face after brushing her teeth and washing her face, she begins to walk to her room to find her uniform and get dressed into the uniform,"Ugh... I wish I didn't have school" Emma thinks to herself. She puts her jumper on after she got on her trousers and shirt, she looked at the clock which showed ten to eight,"breakfast time" Emma thought to herself. She runs downstairs, gets a plate and the box of oatmeal and spills some oatmeal into the plate along with a bit if milk as the went to the fridge to get the milk, she places the plate full of milk and oatmeal into the microwave as she turns it on for a minute, while her oatmeal is getting heated in the microwave, Emma gets a spoon and patiently waits for the microwave to ring, indicating that the oatmeal is ready. As soon as Emma heard the ring, she ran to the microwave and got the plate out, she also fetched some honey on the way back to the table, she begins to eat as soon as she adds honey and mixes it up.

As Emma leaves her empty plate in the sink, she goes to the hallway to get her black coloured shoes and sits by the staircase putting on the shoes, as soon as she ties the laces on her shoes, she goes to fetch her bag from upstairs. "You are already ready?" Emma's mother asks, surprised,"yes mother" Emma answers as she nods,"well you might have to wait a bit more, I'm putting some make up on my face, a eyeliner, powder and ye, I will be ready very soon tho" Emma's mother explains to Emma,"okay mom" answers Emma. She goes into her room and takes her bag, as she goes out of the room, she suddenly remembers,"mom, are you today gonna do something about my visit to a therapist?" asks Emma,"oh s.h.i.t!" answers Emma's mother as she remembers,"yes, I will try to arrange something while you're in school, okay?" adds Emma's mother,"yes mom, thanks" answers Emma.

Emma runs downstairs and into the living room, dropping her bag beside where she will sit, as she is waiting for her mother to get ready to drop her off to school.
