Along the way, we ran across some corpses of prowlers and other dead beasts. Their group had definitely come this way. We increased our speed to reach the dungeon faster. Who knew how powerful they would become with their 'sacred treasure'.

I had asked Rose about what the treasure was, but she had told me she didn't know. It was usually kept in the head elf's house and only used in times of emergency. It was said to have been pa.s.sed down for centuries and it had been a long time since it had been used.

When they had transported over to this world the elves even though they were supremacists, realized that they would need it to survive. They were shocked however to discover the treasure gone, when they went to grab it.

No one knew how the elder found out that it had been transported to a dungeon that was close by, but he had said that a message had appeared in front of him, when he was at the house. Because he was the leader of the village now, he had the right to know.

Rose had also mentioned how this taunting message and action had sent the elder into a rage, that had killed many a slave. It made me want to kill the elf elder even more.

After another 30 minutes we finally reached the entrance to the dungeon.

How did I realize that it was a dungeon?

Well once I laid my eyes onto the gloomy cave that was in front of us and felt the ominous pressure that it radiated, I figured it out pretty quick. There were 2 dead wolves next to the entrance as well as 1 dead slave.

His body was ripped to shreds. They must have used him as a distraction before they took them out.

I moved over to the mangled corpse and stared down silently at it. I stood there for a while looking at the despair that was written on the slaves face, the wet tear stained cheeks told me his terror before he died.

I clenched my fists and moved on. We didn't have the time.

As soon as I walked through the cave entrance, a box appeared in my eyes.

Yeah that was the same d.a.m.n G.o.d I remember. I looked up at the sky and sent him the middle finger before proceeding.

Ella who was behind me spoke quietly.

"Insects…"

So the message appears to everyone that walks through. What if we were in a party? Is there a party system?

I looked at Kuro off to the side as I thought, but she only tilted her head at my look. I shook my head and rushed off down the dark cave.

The others followed and we soon saw signs of battle. The cave widened tremendously as we kept moving. From a narrow entrance, moving just 50 meters in it expanded to double its circ.u.mference. The smell of blood tinged the air, as I spotted up to 20 wolf corpses that were strewn about.

Some, had arrows pierced through their eyes, some, earth spikes through their body. What surprised me was one or 2 with whip and strangle marks. I turned to look at Rose.

"Whip marks?"

Rose gave me a nod and explained.

"It's the main weapon of the elder."

As she spoke she lifted up her leather mage robe and I saw a whip mark that was just hidden. I froze as I looked at the huge scar on her body. It wasn't just that there was a huge scar. There were multiple. Over the big one I was looking at now, there were at least another 5 that crossed over it.

Some looked old like the big scar, but the other ones looked newer. As I stared in shock, my eyes widened. Kuro who was on the side gasped, before hurrying over.

"Oh my G.o.d!"

She had tears in her eyes, as she stopped a short distance away and almost in a trance reached out towards the scar.

Rose backed off and dropped her robe with a straight face.

"It's nothing."

Kuro then stared daggers at her and shouted.

"It's not nothing!"

Kuro was really riled up from the scar marks and looked like she would go to blows with Rose, if she kept saying it was nothing. I finally regained myself and cold killing intent came out.

Rose was acting very defensive with Kuro's attempts to see the wound and do something about it. I had no clue what she thought she could do though. With a health potion she couldn't get rid of scars and even with my regeneration skill I couldn't get rid of scars. I looked down at my hand where there were 3 scars. It was where my fingers had been taken off.

I gripped them.

"Stop Kuro."

Kuro who was worked up turned to me angrily and shouted.

"What are you talking about, did you see that scar! She's probably got more! And she thinks it's alright!"

I looked at Rose who was off to the side, watching on and saw the look in her eyes when Kuro mentioned having more. I closed my eyes as I couldn't even imagine what it would be like to have all those scars.

My voice was still cold as I stopped Kuro from ranting on.

"Stop! She doesn't think it's alright."

Kuro stopped and looked at Rose who had a sad expression, and was at a loss for words.

"But she just said."

"She doesn't want to show it to you, because you are a stranger. You aren't her best friend. You aren't someone she knows."

Kuro stopped looking at Rose and turned back to me.

"She fells the pain of getting those scars."

I then pointed down to the end of the tunnel.

"That why we are here, to kill the b.a.s.t.a.r.d that did that to her."

Kuro who had finally regained some of her calm, looked back at Rose and gripped her fists, it seems that the scars on her body had struck a nerve. My words had gotten through to her and she looked more determined than ever to kill these elves.

Finishing up that little episode we continued to move down the dungeon. We ran into many different rooms with dead wolves and slaves. There were numerous bodies of slaves packed around small amounts of wolves. They all had their bodies puncture with arrows and magic.

They had attacked the wolves while they were being distracted, not worrying about friendly fire. The amount of dead slaves that had died from elf attacks continued to increase. The dead bodies of wolves also went up and up.

30, 40, 60.

The dungeon was huge and we had been running for more than 40 minutes now. I had little hope that any slaves would be able to survive; they were being used as cannon fodder with reckless abandon.

It was only when we reached way further in that we saw a dead elf. Finally one of them had died. I couldn't remember the exact number of elves that had gone with the elder, but it was one less for us to deal with.

And finally as we were about 1 hour and a half into the dungeon a new message appeared.

The groups feet stopped as the message sunk in, then we started to sprint harder. With the dungeon being destroyed, it meant that the elves had cleared out the dungeon. They must have the sacred treasure by now!

The fight would be a whole lot harder now; I wanted to get to them before they finished the dungeon. It would make the fight so much easier. I grit my teeth and went even faster, as luckily for us, it was only around 400 meters latter that we came upon the last room.

It was 4 times bigger than all the other hall ways and was shaped like an area stadium. Dead bodies of slaves and elves littered the ground, along with about 100 wolves. The final boss fight was ridiculous. We would have been wiped out if we had come in here ourselves.

I panted for breath as I looked at the center of the arena. Standing there with a bow in his hand was a middle aged elf. No one else was alive except him. He was standing next to the corpse of a wolf that was at least 3 times the size of a normal one, with gigantic teeth.

His clothes had blood on them that was fresh and had some rips. He hadn't noticed us arrive. He was looking at the bow in his hands, with a silly grin on his face. He was cackling madly as he held up the bow as if it was a gift from G.o.d.

Honestly his face looked so deranged that he would give a mental patient a run for his money. Catching our breath we moved closer silently, and I motioned for Ella to move to the right, and Kuro to the left. Rose stayed next to me and was staring with a bone chilling rage towards the elder.

I could see the barbed whip that was at his leg and my face turned to disgust, as I looked at the caked blood and pieces of flesh hanging off it.

It was as we reached within 20 meters of him that he finally felt our presence.

Staring away from the bow, he looked directly at me, or rather Rose.

His face showed a disgusted expression before turning into a gentle smile.

"Rooooose!"

He drawled his words in a sickeningly sweet voice that made me sick.

"MY dear, dear Rooooose!"

Rose was spitting fire at the call of her name and was about to explode.

The elder looked like he was in a world of his own, as his eyes weren't focusing. Was there something wrong with him?

"You've been naughty, going and breaking your slave bond."

He looked towards me and wagged his finger towards us.

Yeap, he was insane.

"Even hurting elves."

It looked like he knew about our attack on his town, though it didn't matter right now.

"You were so obedient before. Never saying anything, even when I showed you my love."

Rose gripped her fists tightly and shouted back at him.

"You call whipping me! Showing love?! Torturing me?!"

He gave her another sweat smile and grabbed at the whip.

"That was to make you a better slave! I always fixed your beautiful face did I?"

He took out his whip and started to caress it with his other hand. He had slung the bow over his shoulder.

"Your face! So much like an Elf's. So beautiful, so perfect."

As he caressed his whip, with a mad look, I could feel my connection with Rose flare up. Through our sense connection I could feel the scars on her body heat up. I could feel the residual pain that it left on her. Just feeling the amount of parts on my body that heated up, I could tell how much she was whipped.

"Too bad you were born to such an inferior race."

He sighed in dejection. Then his eye lit up with another, different mad light.

"I just wasn't strict enough!"

He acted like he had an epiphany as he shouted in excitement.

"This time I'll do it right!"

His eyes blazed hotter as he stared at her face.

"I'll sharpen your ears to make you look better, More like an ELF!."

The whip uncurled and fell to the ground.

"This time when I give you love I'll be extra attentive."

A look of bliss came to his face as his imagination ran wild.

"You'll be my Rose once more, beautiful and obedient. Beautiful and obedient!"

I was surprised that Rose hadn't exploded yet and rushed him, her anger was clear for everyone to see. This delusional b.a.s.t.a.r.d was in a fairy land right now and I didn't want to listen to anymore of his psychotic banter.

So I interrupted his grand speech.

"You know what should really be said at a time like this is."

He turned away from Rose and shot me a disgusted look.

"Although a Rose can be beautiful, they do have thorns."

His disgusted look didn't change and he looked at me as if looking at an insect. So I gave him a big smile while pulling my blade.

"But…"

My anger had already reached its peak, I couldn't help it.

"…I heard that elves have trouble having children."

His face finally changed.

"So in your case, was it because you were so ugly that no woman could physically touch you?"

His face started to heat up in anger and it looked like he wanted to attack me.

Time to seal the deal.

"Or because your thing down there is so small, it wouldn't even matter?"
