"Who are you?"

My voice couldn't help but to turn grim as my aura gushed out around them.

Kuro and Asura were once again startled as the pressure weighed down. Ella, who was beside me, also let loose her killing intent which intensified the situation.

After pulling out a health potion and healing themselves, I had to find out what was going on here. Kuro's face turned pale and a look of panic flashed through her eyes as I slowly made my way over. I pulled out my sword and stared at them intently. If they made any moves I would kill them.

She slowly moved her hands up and prepared to talk. From the look on Asura's face to her side, he wanted to say something to me, aggressively. But Kuro sent him a look and he quieted down. Her voice came out in a stutter as I looked hard to ascertain if she was telling the truth.

"W-W-We're survivors."

"Don't lie to me!"

I snapped harshly as I heard her words. She flinched at my voice but determination filled her eyes as she repeated.

"We're survivors!"

I flashed my blade out and walked till I was just in front of her. I held it to her throat and my eyes chilled over. My cold rage had activated from my intense emotions and the surrounding area started to chill down. The temperature dropped and I could see her body shiver slightly.

"Don't lie to me."

My voice was low as the blade rested against her fair neck.

"We are survivors, just like you."

I ran out of patience as I quirked the blade to the left. The blade run to the side of her collar bone and carved a small cut on her shoulder. Her face contorted in pain but she didn't let out a sound. I didn't stop there either.

After leaving that small mark I pulled back the sword and smashed the handle into her head. She tried to move backwards as she saw the incoming hit but I reacted faster and gripped her hair, keeping her head in place.

*Crack*

Her skull made a small cracking sound and as I let go she fell back limply. The blood from the hit rolled down her face and a groan escaped her lips. Asura sent me a death glare and tried to rise to his feet.

He reached his hand towards his blade and prepared to draw it on me, but Ella was faster. Her body flickered to the left of him and grabbed his hand. Knowing that I didn't want him dead, she only broke his wrist.

*Snap*

I didn't feel anything as the sound of broken bones resounded out.

As both withered over in pain and agony I locked my eyes on to the bag Kuro had been handling. I bent over and s.n.a.t.c.hed the bag up, to look inside. Tearing it open I saw another few stacks of healing potions and also one or 2 different blue vials.

If my conjecture was right, this new vial would be a magic potion. In a normal game 2 of the most important items would be Magic potions and Health potions. Health potions would be able to heal a person for a certain amount of health, which would then let people fight longer.

The magic potion would be used to restore MP points, so that a person would be able to use magic attacks or abilities. There would also sometimes be Stamina potions, these would be used by warriors, but I couldn't see anything else in the bag.

Because we didn't have a stamina stat, I was a.s.suming that the spirit stat covered that area. It was either that or agility. Having agility be tied to my stamina made no sense so I figured that it had to be spirit.

This meant that if the magic potion affected my spirit, it would also affect my stamina, covering two birds with one stone, and completely getting rid of the need for a stamina potion.

The better question was how these guys got the potions. I had looked all over town and I hadn't found any shop that sold such vials. If I had, we could use them in dangerous situations.

I squinted at the vials in my hand and thought about them for a few minutes before turning to look at Kuro and Asura. With his wrist broken Asura was sending Ella a death glare and sweating hard. He didn't make a sound but I could tell that he was in immense pain.

Kuro, who was still recovering from the concussion that I had most likely just given her, had a pale face as she looked at me. She didn't think I would go so far with her. But when it came to the safety of me and Ella, I couldn't take any chances.

She was still lying down and numbly starting up at me as I walked over and squatted in front of her. I left the backpack to the side and held one of each of the potions up to her face, I talked with a hint of steel.

"Then where did you get these?"

Her eyes shifted about as she thought of an answer as I waited.

"From town."

Her voice was weaker now as she spoke in a whisper.

She had just finished her answer as my eyes turned cold and I reached out towards the wound I had just made. My aura locked her body down and my eyes froze her. She didn't move as I dug into the wound with my thumb. I put in about half of my strength, which caused the skin to turn white.

Her face contorted in pain but it took 10 seconds before she finally cracked and shouted out. I didn't stop and continued to pressure the wound for another 20 seconds before stopping. Her scream continued till I stopped and pulled back my hand.

She panted for breath with sweat pouring down her face as her teeth chattered slightly.

"Don't lie to me."

(Frozen Rage Leveled!)

(Frozen Rage Level 2!)

I pushed the box to the side in a calm manner and stared right into her eyes.

"They're really from the town."

She shivered as she talked to me and I could tell she wasn't lying. Since the start of the apocalypse I had started to trust my gut more and more. And it hadn't turned me in the wrong direction yet, and that same gut feeling was telling me that she wasn't lying. Her eyes shook as I thought to myself and I could see the terror in her eyes.

I'll pressure her some more.

"Do you think I will not kill you?"

This freaked her out more that before and tears started to collect in her eyes.

"I swear Liam; I got them from the town. We used all the entertainment points we saved up to buy them, before we came into these mountains."

"Where?"

"There's a shop to the east of the town, down one of the main streets. It's pretty hard to miss. Once you go inside you can buy them from the pillar that is there."

I listened closely and mapped out the town in my head, I was sure that I had been there before. My eyes turned sharp as I remembered that the shop she was most likely talking about, was locked when I tried to go in.

"I couldn't get into that shop. It was locked."

She panicked again.

"No I swear, please believe me!"

I gripped her wound again to add pressure to her and her words became frantic as she repeated that sentence again and again. Even when she started to scream out in pain, she kept saying the same thing.

I finally released the pressure as I was convinced that she was telling the truth.

Asura who was sweating from his broken wrist sent me a glare that could freeze over h.e.l.l, as he watched what was happening. But as he looked up at Ella, who was watching over him, he didn't move a muscle. Having them in this position was the best time to get some answers.

I still didn't believe that they were survivors, but I would leave that for later.

"Don't lie to me, and answer all my questions. If you do lie, I will kill your friend and then you."

I pointed my blade at Asura before moving it back to Kuro. She was viable shocked from my words, before she started to hastily nod her head. Just as I was about to ask the first question, Asura seemingly not being able to deal with the situation any longer, spoke up and ignoring the fact that Ella was right beside him, shouted out in a malicious manner.

"Don't tell this basted anything Kuro. I don't care if I die, but when we get back to town, I'll tell them all what a fricking infected lover he is!"

My body froze as I heard his words and before I could respond, he continued to talk.

"What a disgusting a.s.shole! You're running around with an infected like this, that eats people and don't give a c.r.a.p! You even call her sister, you sick maniac!"

I could hear the contempt in his voice and the sound of him spitting as he continued.

"I bet you went even further than brother and sister, haven't you!"
