I couldn't put up any resistance as I was yanked through the door and flung through the air. I flew a good 3 meters before crashing into the opposite wall.

The wind was kicked out of me and I felt like my bones creak under the pressure. I was slightly dazed as the new threat moved its way over. Finally gaining clarity as it towered above me, it drew back its arm and punch down.

I had to move fast!

I was still winded from the throw and was moving sluggishly. As the fist closed in it faltered, giving me just enough time to roll out of the way.

Springing to my feet as fast as possible I backed away. Looking towards the stair way door, I saw Ella staring hard at the thing. Her eyes shined and I could see a sort of aura project of her to restrain the infected.

Thank G.o.d she was here, that saved my life. I sweated hard as I whipped my blade out and a.s.sessed the situation. My left arm that was gripped was broken; the amount of strength in that thins hands was insane. I looked up at the infected I had to use a.n.a.lyze on it.

It was humongous, easily a good 50 centimeters above all the other previously seen infect, this had to be a special or something new.

It's an actual zombie! I mean the infected acted a lot like zombies, but now it's been guaranteed.

And it's a strength evolution?

This means that all the infected will evolve into zombies at a later point. Judging by the wording, they might not even evolve into zombies, they might turn into something different. I mean seeing as Ella is a different strain. the evolution she will go through would be completely different.

But this was very dangerous. If they all evolve at level 5, there will be a lot more of these things later on. Look at its d.a.m.n STR stat, it was 28, no wonder it could throw me so easily.

No this wasn't possible. Ella was already level 5! She would have evolved already if that was the case, this must be for regular strain infected!

I hope!

Not that it makes it any better.

I shook my head and re-concentrated on the zombie, I still had better agility, I could do this. And Ella is also helping me; I don't know how long she can last.

I've got to do this fast.

Even with the restriction the zombie was making its way towards me. Its speed was even slower than before; it would be of great help.

I started moving towards the zombie and thought about what I had to do. With my improved INT I was able to think faster, it helped in these situations.

I should up my INT next time I can.

Moving in I faked to the right and waited for it to swing, I couldn't let it touch me. As it raised its hand I waited for another 2 seconds, counting in my head, then rushed to the left. After swinging it was off balance and left a huge crack pattern in the ground, this things strength was no joke!

After its miss the neck was in clear view, so I used all my strength and chopped down with all my might.

*Dang*

What the h.e.l.l is this! Its skin is like d.a.m.n metal, I barely cut through it! I could only leave a small gash after my hit. Having put in all my strength I couldn't pull back in time, as its other arm came out and back handed me.

Its strength sent me flying again and tore my gear; if I didn't have it I would be dead for sure.

"Father!"

Ella screamed out as I went flying and stopped controlling the zombie. Without the restriction its speed shot back up and it made its way towards me. I was once again concussed and disarrayed.

Ella ran up to me and stood in front ready to fight the thing. I knew she wouldn't be able to take it.

I started to think about my family and all that had happened over the last 3 days and roused my anger. It worked and cold rage kicked in, it made me concentrate and quickly recover from my addled state.

"Ella, move to the side!"

She didn't budge at my shout, so I tried again.

"Ella Run to the side now, I need you to restrict it!"

She hesitated again

"Ella!"

She finally listened and ran to the side, slightly behind me. As she did she started to apply 'ruler' to the zombie and its speed dropped down again. I got back up and staggered, I would have to come up with another plan.

I racked my brain as fast as I could and prepared myself again, I couldn't be careless again. Another hit would end me.

As it closed in with its slow steps I moved to the right again and waited. It once again played out like before as I dodged to the left, but this time having seemed to learn from its mistakes, it didn't throw its whole body into the swing.

c.r.a.p, this would give me less time.

As it wasn't off balance I sprinted with more urgency, I only had one plan, I couldn't think of much else.

"Argh"

I heard Ella shout behind me and its speed reduced even further, thank you Ella!

I made my way around its back and slashed as fast as I could at the Achilles, putting most of my force into the swing I was able to slice through its tough skin. The zombie staggered and its speed became even worse. Using the remaining time I was able to cut the other Achilles as well.

With both of them being cut the zombie was not able to support its weight, falling forwards. I was still wary of it as I knew it still had use of its upped body and could swing its arms around. I didn't know any other points in the body that would cripple it. So I was at a loss for the moment.

I couldn't waste time though!

"Ella, keep it still as long as you can!"

I would use what worked before, even though it was a bigger risk.

"Yes Father!"

Using all my strength I dashed around to his side before jumping. Falling down and using my whole body I aimed my sharp sword at its spine.

G.o.d I hope this works out.

Using the tip of my sword it should be enough.

Landing with my whole body the sharp blade started to sink in. It wasn't as effective as the last time I did this, but it still sunk in a good amount. The zombie thrashed about and actually threw me off its back.

It's still not dead!

The blade was in far enough that it didn't fall off, even with all the shaking. It released shrieks in a weird guttural tone as it thrashed about.

Getting back up and wiping the spilled blood from my mouth, I made my way back over. I couldn't give it more time.

"Ella you sword!!!"

Ella's eyes flickered and she quickly pulled her sword out and threw it over. She had to split her attention for a second and the thrashing became more vigorous. She re-concentrated but the sweat pouring from her head and her trembling body; let me know that she was close to her limit.

With my increased reflexes, I actually didn't find it too hard to catch the thrown sword. Grabbing it tightly I put it in a reverse grip and aimed towards its neck again. Making sure I avoided its thrashing I jumped on its back again and aimed towards the neck. I aimed for the side of the neck, wanting to cut in the esophagus.

Maybe I could drown it in its own blood!

The blade sunk in but wasn't up to the standard of the sharp sword, it wasn't working!

Pulling it out I changed my target and aimed towards the face, its eyes couldn't be as tough!!

Knocking its head a few times to make it twist in my direction, I jammed the sword in one of its eyes.

It burst like a bubble and the shrieks became even worse.

Leaving it in the eye I grabbed towards the sharp blade and put as much pressure as I could on it. Straining all my muscles I finally pushed it deeper into the spine. The thrashing slowed down and finally stopped, seeing this I finally lost all my energy.

Slumping down I quickly rolled off its back, I didn't want to lie on that thing.

Ella also slumped over and sat down beside me, she was dead tired.

Giving myself a minute I forced myself to stand back up, grabed the golden globe that dropped and moved Ella towards the stairs. Pushing the door closed I moved back up a floor then dived into that corridor. Jamming it behind me I collapsed to the ground and recollected myself.

Zombies shouldn't be that hard to kill.
