A God's Apocalyptic Entertainment 148 New Weapon

The silver sheen of the weapon glinted off the lights that were still working. The blade was larger than most pictures I had seen in the past, and you could almost mistake it as an axe if not for the pointed tip at the end and hook that was to the back of the blade. It radiated sharpness as if nothing could stop its power.

The handle was wrapped in exquisite leather that snuggle fit into my hand as I bent down to pick it up. The balance of the weapon was lighter than I thought it would be, but that could be because of my high STR stat. At the bottom the end was sharpened and acted as another form of weapon that could be used.

I didn't think that it was normal halberd but I didn't care, it would help when fighting.

*Swoosh*

I swung it once as a clear sound of cutting air rang out, my eyes must have turned enamored as I looked at this weapon, it just felt right as I let it rest in my hands. I knew it would be hard to learn to use, as I had only been using swords until this point, but a gut feeling told me this was it.

This would be the weapon I continued with from now on. My eyes gleamed as I used a.n.a.lyze on this new weapon of mine.

I was right, this weapon was special. Other than the World bow and Nature whip that Ella and Rose had, this was the only other purple piece of equipment we had, actually there was also the empress necklace that we got early on.

I wouldn't have to change this for a long time.

I stored my new weapon in my ring as I then went to loot all their equipment. Rose and Ella needed better gear, and once we had it, all the payers outside wouldn't be able to harm us. We had a hard enough time killing these guys.

I looked at all the new equipment.

There were 2 sets of Combat Gear that the Warrior and Centurion wore, while there was 1 set of empire robes for the Mage and 1 set of leather combat gear from the Evos.

The stat bonuses that was on the gear was about what I was expecting, even better when I looked at the robes, +8 SPR and even INT, it was a great piece of gear. Of course I had no use for it and Rose took the robes plus a set of Leather combat boots and gloves.

Ella also took a full set of combat leather gear that I had been wearing; she wanted the freedom that came with the leather gear, where the normal plate combat gear was a bit more restricted. I had taken the full set the centurion was wearing including the pauldrons, except the helmet.

I mean why and the h.e.l.l was the helmet the only piece of equipment that didn't have the resize function? I was p.i.s.sed off when I couldn't wear the full set, but I think I worked better without something constricting my head.

Putting on the Combat gear I found it was pretty heavy, if I didn't have over I would say 120 STR and END I would have had trouble actually walking around with it on. Not to mention running. This would affect how fast I could go, but I think my AGI would make up for it. But with that Ella was once again faster than me.

I stuffed the helmet in my ring to sell it at a later date and looked at nothing else. The weapons they were using were actually pretty normal. The staff and swords they were using were only blue gear so I stuffed them in the ring and moved on.

Finished putting all that on, I allocated all our stat points that we had just gained. We had reached level 30 which as we started off at level 20 at the start of the day, was a pretty big leap. I didn't think it would be this easy later on.

I looked over our statuses before I started to think about our last opponent.

We were all around or pa.s.sed the 150 mark for all stats except luck of course. Rose's skill points had finally calibrated and combined with ours. Right now we had 30 points that we could use. After looked at all those stats personally I wanted to spend them right away, I mean we could max a few skills with that many right?

But after a while my head cooled and I thought back to the past. I needed so many points to evolve Ella to a new species, I was sure that in the future we would have to evolve again. It would be a better idea to save them for now. I could even spend them depending on the situation. I mean leveling a skill that is desperately needed in the future wouldn't be too bad.

*Sigh*

I let out a small sigh as I closed the panels, it was now time to deal with the archer, and we couldn't have him bothering us. But I had no clue if we could chase him down, if we didn't kill him he could strike when we were least expecting it.

My thoughts started to darken as I tried to think of a way to bring the archer out to fight us.

Just as I was lost in my thoughts Ella spoke out, she must have been reading my mind.

"Brother, the last person has escaped."

I started with surprise.

"Escaped?"

Ella nodded her head and pointed towards a direction.

"After we finished the fight I smelt him run off that way."

My frown deepened. Did he run to get reinforcements?

We had better leave this place.

I decide on what we were going to do, but there was one last thing to do before we left this town.

"Time to eat some EXP."

Ella giggled.
