A God's Apocalyptic Entertainment 139 Energy Share

Before I realized what happened the garrote wire over my throat was gone and I was falling forwards. The strength I had been putting in to no chock, made my body lean forwards. I lost my footing as my mind raced.

Sending a quick thought to my s.p.a.ce ring I pulled out a centurion's shield that I picked up.

*Bang*

The loud sound of metal being deformed resounded behind me as I felt it jam into my back and send me flying forwards. I turned my body midair while falling to see what was happening. She had her foot up from the kick she just sent. I was sure that if there was no shield blocking the way my spine would have been shattered.

I felt the presence of death but fought it back as I quickly sent a message to Rose. I had only been propelled a small distance forwards.

'Wall!'

A huge earth wall appeared between us blocking our view as I quickly rolled to the side, not a second later a dagger flew right through the constructed wall and went to the right. She had tried to predict where I had rolled but thankfully I went the other way.

Ella was about to reach us as I picked myself up and ran towards her, I needed to lock her down for a second. The earth wall dropped and I looked at the cold eyes of the person in front, she had a dagger drawn and was in a fighting position.

I pulled a sword out of my ring but knew it wouldn't help much.

Closing in I went for a swing but mainly focused on her dagger, I was waiting for her to attack, and in the blink of an eye the dagger disappeared. It was racing towards my heart and I only just caught sight of it.

*Clang!*

I pulled my blade up and watched as it was snapped in two from the force; it had stopped the forward momentum of the attack though. Using the small amount of time where she pulled back her hand I dropped the sword and dived forwards.

She wasn't perturbed as I reached my hand towards her wrists; it was a stupid move in her eyes but all part of a plan, which would hurt a lot.

Reaching for both of her hands she decisively dropped her dagger and grabbed my incoming palms; she had immense strength easily enough to overpower me. I felt it instantly as her grip locked my bones and crushed them.

I gritted my teeth feeling the blood well up and dribble out. Before she could throw me or break both my arms I focused all my energy into my palms.

*Whistle*

The temperature dropped as I forced all the Ice I could into her body. Her gloves covered most of her fingers but I was able to touch some exposed skin. I felt my energy slip in and tried to keep her in palace.

Not expecting the sudden rush of cold and ice that was streaming into her body she tried to let go of my mangled hands. I had no strength to stop her from doing this but I used all the ice I could to stick our hands together.

'Now!'

Not giving her time to break through the created Ice, Ella jumped up from behind her and latched onto her back. She wrapped her legs around her body armour and reached her hands around. They settled just above her surprised eyes before fire sprung out.

"Argh!!"

She screamed in pain and thrashed about sending both Ella and me flying, as her eyes were burned. The eyes would always be one of the weakest points in the body.

"Argh!!!!"

She continued to scream as she reached upwards and grabbed at her face. For me I was flung a short distance away and felt bursts of pain racking my body. I shook it off as I used my ring to summon a health potion in my mouth.

Not caring about the metal I chewed on it, as the burst of liquid ran down my throat. In a few seconds my mangled hands were back to normal and the pain started to recede, but I had to quickly pop another one before I could jump back in.

Looking back up at the woman that was thrashing about I looked at Ella who was about to go in again. I joined her as we raced towards the target, without vision this fight was ours.

Ella closed in going for an attack, but she actually dodged the blow, without even looking she reacted to the attack that was coming from behind.

Not expecting the movement Ella was in the air for a few seconds and got swatted to the ground.

*Bang*

Ella spat out a little bit of blood as she hit the ground and quickly rolled away.

*Boom*

From above a boot stomped into the ground so hard I felt it quake. d.a.m.n what training did this person go through to be able to fight blind?!?!

I lamented in my head as I made my way closer, the gear was impervious to my normal sword and I had no weapon that could kill her right away, this fight could draw out. But a feeling in my gut told me that would be bad.

Looking at the woman again she had stopped in place and wasn't holding onto her face anymore. I could see where her eyes used to be as a burn mark and blood was splashed all over. Even after feeling all that pain she was able to calm herself.

I think she was using her hearing to fight us. I stayed as quiet as I could as I approached lightly. Throwing my sword to the ground next to her she jerked her head to the side while I dashed in, I knew fire worked on her, I just had to do more damage.

'Rose.'

I sent a quick thought over to her as I reached one meter, she reacted quickly to my presence and turned to face me arms ready, she already had another dagger in her hands.

Forming a small icicle in my hand I threw it on the ground ducking left. She swung at the sound and I just barely dodged the attack, trying to reposition herself she raised her feet to get in a better position. That was when Rose changed the ground and put a small jut in it, shifting her other foot backwards.

This threw her off balance for a second as I got in close. I was less than a few centimeters away from her now. I focused on my connection to Ella and invoked one of my new skills, 'Energy Share'.

I felt the connection between us heat up as a new energy entered my body. I took control of that energy and focused it down my arms; it felt weird for a millisecond before it burst out. A raging fire appeared in my hands as I reached for her throat.

As one of the only unprotected parts of her body I gripped it with all my strength and pushed all the fire I could out.

I had found out this little trick while I was still in the library. When I reestablished the connection between all of us, I had checked out most of my new skills. For obvious reasons I couldn't use 'demonic kiss', so I focused on others. And 'Energy Share' was the greatest surprise.

If I concentrated enough on the connection between us and tried to evoke one of their skills, I could. The same went both ways.

Technically we all could use each other's skill, I could use 'Nature Heal', 'Fire', I could even evoke the innate 'Queen of nature' that Rose had for a short while.

When you fought one of us, you were really fighting all of us. Of course this put a lot of pressure on the connection and couldn't be kept up for a while, but it was enough.

Focusing all the fire I smelt the burnt skin in my hands and the melted pieces of flesh that were carried in my palms.

She couldn't even scream this time as her vocal cords were being destroyed. Feeling the pain she hit me with all of her strength and I was sent flying away. I felt a few ribs and bones crack but I would be good after using a health potion.

The damage was already done. The throat that was locked up due to the damage suppressed her breathing and she was grasping at her throat. Ella was back on her feet and Rose had moved closer, we all knew we had won now.

Popping the health potion I recovered enough and stood up. She was running out of breath now. She was trying to open her mouth and say something but no sounds came out.

Ella moved closer and I felt our connection go taunt, she was using Ice. She walked closer and grabbed both of her hands forcing them behind her back. She was using her aura to lock her body down at the same time as her strength was so high.

Because she was on her last breaths she couldn't resist. Rose also walked up and summoned 2 earth spikes.

Two earth spikes exploded from the ground and impaled her through the armour gaps. The body was pinned standing up not being able to fight back.

I finally let out a breath of relief as I saw the battle end. What the h.e.l.l was such a high level person doing here? Where there more? The bad feeling in my stomach got worse.

"Hurry up, we have to leave fast."

Ella nodded in a serious manner; we didn't usually have such a tough fight against one person. Only Zoey from back in the hospital could really be compared to this person before us.

Ella walked up and placed her hands on the head of the dying person. It thrashed about but could do nothing. Then Ella started to use 'Demonic Kiss', the head thrashed about again from the sudden pain but it soon stopped.

The huge amount of energy in the body was being absorbed and sent to all of us. It was nothing like killing the players, I felt myself get stronger as the body was sucked dry of all energy.

I walked over and grabbed the globe on the ground. I had a quick look at it.

She was level 35?!??!

I was very surprised when I saw her description, this was a lot higher than I expected. I knew that she was tough, but not that high. Not to mention we had somehow killed her. In a straight out fight we had no chance, but even with an underhanded method, such as blinding her, I was surprised we won looking back now.

The amount of EXP I would get from this one globe would be insane. In an excited manner I crushed the globe in my hand. We had to move fast anyways.

And right after I crushed the globe a few level up messages appeared.
