The sound of birds chirping and crunching of leaves underfoot rang out. The screen that was black started to lighten. The view was from a person, the slight bobbing of the camera looking at the ground.
The persons armour and feet came into view as the stepped over twigs and undergrowth. The person looked to be on a mountain. As the camera raised and caught the sight of the mountain region they were in, the size of the tree stood out.
Trees that easily dwarfed most normal ones told the audience a slight amount about the world around.
"I can't believe how tough that beast was. What was it called? A prowler? Thank G.o.d we upgraded our gear before we headed out this far."
The camera panned to the left and caught sight of another person decked out in gear. His dashing figure was entrancing and further enhanced by the gear he was wearing; even though it was slightly worn it was easy to see how new it was.
Standing at 2 meters, the man had a smile on his face as he talked towards the person. The camera looked up at the person and just as we would get the first sound from the person behind the camera, a sound was heard.
*Crackle*
It was a new sound in the forest that surrounded them, the noise of the bugs that fluttered about were just covered. The camera snapped towards a direction and lowered. It could be told that the person had entered a battle ready stance.
The man next to them would have done the same. With practiced movements the camera dashed off in a direction and zoomed in on the faint sound.
What soon came into view as they slowed down was a camp. A small fire was laid out, wood being used as fuel. In the forest surrounding them, it was dangerous as the wood was left to just burn. If it were to get out of control, the fire would spread fast and no doubt destroy the forest.
Just as the camera grew close the fire was put out and 2 figures came into view. They couldn't be clearly seen from the distance, but the camera slowed down as it grew closer.
(Boosted KuroNeko)
The birds that were chirping, the bugs that were heard, all sound grounded to a halt and nothing was heard as a loud crack suddenly sounded out.
*Crack*
The camera panned down to the ground again as it zoomed in on the twig that they had just stepped on.
Behind the person a m.u.f.fled voice was heard.
"d.a.m.nit Kuro!"
But at that point it was too late, the camera snapped back up to the camp area and focused in on the other people. A youth standing near 2 meters tall looked in their direction as they grabbed the sword next to the ground and got into a battle stance.
Next to him a woman near the same height, with world destroying beauty, stood. Her lush silver hair instantly stole the screen as its vibrant color fixated the eye. Hanging at her waist it wasn't just this that stole the show. Her fair white skin and deep purple eyes were also captivating.
The camera finally shifted from the first person view and came back. The black hair of the woman that was staring at the duo was the first thing noticed. Facing away from the camera it was hard to see the facial features.
What was noticeable was the state of her gear, compared to the man standing next to her, whose gear was only slightly worn, hers' was battered and torn in more places.
Kuro raised her hand up towards the youth who had a small scar over his left eye. One eye was a green hazel while the one with the scare had turned the same purple as the woman next to him.
The youth's eyes sharpened and he said nothing as he dashed forwards.
"Wait!"
Finally the voice of Kuro was heard as she still raised her hand towards him. But he didn't stop; his speed was insane as he closed the short 40 meters between them in 2 seconds. The woman next to him was even faster and reached them quickly. She went towards the dashing man, while the man came in for Kuro.
What ensued was a quick crippling defeat. The man disregarding everything she said and beat her down capturing both people. He even put her in a choke hold and flipped her body through the air. The show of strength was eye opening and showed strength not possible by normal people.
After a hectic start and a brutal display of torture by the silver haired woman towards the dashing man, the screen cut to a scene of arrows flying towards the group. Breaking the cohesiveness of the ongoing story more shots and parts were pieced together after the initial fight.
First were the arrows flying towards them and elves suddenly appearing. Skipping past that it then cut to the dead body of the dashing man, who seemed to have lost his whole right arm. But that wasn't what killed him; instead it was the 2 arrows that were in his heart and stomach.
Kuro was kneeling in front of the dead body and a voice came from behind. The voice was sweet and a little childish. The clear ringing of her voice was calming and a little ethereal.
"I'm finished."
"Good."
A man's voice replied to her and in the next second a shadow eclipsed Kuro who was kneeling. The man's visage came into view as he stood above her. It could be seen that Kuro's body was shaking slightly as she waited for him to do something.
Slowly the youth reached down with a grim expression and reached towards her. The hand that was reaching towards her showed off small scars that were present over a few of his fingers and the calluses that had built up on his palm. Grabbing onto the sword strapped to her waist he then took it and threw it away.
"You're coming with me."
That was all he said as the screen cut to black.
Next it cut to a scene of a river. 3 people stood with their backs to the raging waters. Kuro was holding a bag filled with something as the youth and woman brandished their blades. They were standing in a small clearing, the forest a short distance away.
The dark forest that almost repelled what light the sun was shining started to twinkle as small glints of light started to appear. Numerous wolves appeared walking out of the forest, their numbers uncountable, and their sizes too big. Compared to normal wolves they were 2-3 times bigger. But the numbers never stopped. The shot lasted for a good 20 seconds of wolves appearing and surrounding the small trio.
Finally a bigger black wolf appeared behind the wolf pack and let out a deafening howl. With that as the queue they started to rush towards their prey. But before they collided the screen cut again.
Like the last scene the trio was once again standing in front of a small type of army. Their gear may have changed, but they still stood tall in front of their enemy. Elves and huge trees blocked their path as a man in shining armour stood in the middle of a dais, next to him a woman in robes with green hair. They were in some sort of town ready to do battle.
This time the camera didn't even wait before the fight started to cut away. Only showing the confident smile the youth was wearing as he prepared himself.
This time it cut to a darker area, a sort of cave. In front of them stood a middle aged elf, in his hand was a whip covered in thorns, his face twisted and one of pure aggression.
The green haired mage had joined them as they faced off against this new threat. Earth spikes exploded from the ground as they went into kill the insane elf. Finally cutting to the last scene the elf's corpse was off to the side.
It had returned to the first person perspective. Looking through the eyes of Kuro once again the scene was shown as the sword was stuck through her chest. The disbelief was heard in her voice as she looked up at the youth that was looking down at her.
His eyes were red as his face showed disappointment. The conversation was blocked for most to hear as they talked to each other. His brutal way of taking out the sword to watch her die of blood loss was a gruesome scene.
The conversation was short and just as the screen was starting to fade to black his rough steady voice was finally heard.
"I don't know if this is your first death or not, and I'm not sure how much pain you're actually feeling. But I hope this lesson is enough to make you learn."
With those words the screen faded to black as it could be a.s.sumed that Kuro had died at the moment. The words that reverberated in the pitch back darkness left a lasting impression as the trailer finally finished.
