Xin Siyue thought, if it were another girl, she would probably have misunderstood and thought he has feelings towards her. But Xin Siyue proudly and calmly gave herself an internal thumbs up. Luckily, she knew how the story would progress. She would be eliminated if she had any intentions towards Chen Sinan since she wasn't the female lead.

Chen Sinan's deep gaze never left Xin Siyue for a moment. After seeing her reaction, he said confidently, “I knew it.”

Xin Siyue gritted her teeth, “Then thank you for your previous kindness.”

“But I don't feel your grat.i.tude at all.” He continued lazily, “Is this the way that Miss Xin expresses her grat.i.tude to others? It doesn't sound sincere in the least.”

Xin Siyue immediately looked at him defensively, “Then what do you want?”

“Lead the way,” Chen Sinan said briefly.

“Isn't it the same if someone else guides you?”

“I don't know anyone else, I only know you.”

Xin Siyue thought that he was unreasonable. “It's only being a guide, does it matter who takes you there?” 

“Yes. I'm not used to having a female stranger by my side.”

“Hehe.” Xin Siyue looked at him, contemptuously, “Why weren't you bothered when there were so many women around you in the mall?” 

Chen Sinan smiled, “I was just there to join in on the fun. How can you take that seriously?”

Xin Siyue was p.i.s.sed off by his frivolous att.i.tude. She was sure that he did it on purpose. She tolerated him and asked, “If I guide you, does it offset the favor from last time?”

Chen Sinan gave her a look saying, "You're so innocent." Then, responded pa.s.sively, "You can ask a.s.sistant w.a.n.g how troublesome it was for him to get you that porridge. If you think his hard work is only worth this much, then I think he's quite pitiful."

Standing on the side, a.s.sistant w.a.n.g beamed at his boss! In his eyes, Chen Sinan looked so manly at this time. He had never known his boss was this sweet. Not once has a.s.sistant w.a.n.g complained to his boss about any matter, so how was Chen Sinan able to understand him so well? Even recognizing his hard work!

a.s.sistant w.a.n.g admired his boss and was thankful. The CEO was actually a person who was cold on the outside but warm on the inside!

When Xin Siyue saw the expression in a.s.sistant w.a.n.g's eyes, she was left speechless. She can't really say that he doesn't work hard enough…

Feeling reluctant, Xin Siyue gave up and said, “I can bring you over. But once you are there, you cannot ask me for anything anymore. You can't pretend to be close to me.” 

Chen Sinan had some issues with her words, “We are close.”

Xin Siyue was about to turn and tell Gu Tong, but after hearing that, she refuted him directly and without hesitation “Close your *ss!”

On the other side, Chen Sinan's face became like Bao Qingtian after he saw that she didn't take him seriously.

This was the first time that a.s.sistant w.a.n.g had witnessed his boss being contradicted and not yelling back. He tried his best to hold back his laughter.

Gu Tong heard their conversation from the start; the back-and-forth between Xing Siyue and Chen Sinan's conversation was shocking! How was Siyue not close with Chen Sinan! With this pace, they are clearly too close!

"Gu Tong, I'll bring them over first, and I'll see you there."

Gu Tong still hadn't recovered from the shock. She grabbed Xin Siyue's hand quickly as she was about to leave, "Think about how you're going to confess everything to us tonight, after this has finished."

"Confess what?" Xin Siyue was confused.

“The relationship between you and Chen Sinan!”

“I……” Xin Siyue didn't think it was necessary to wait until tonight; she can clarify this with just one sentence – they have no relationship.

Gu Tong seemed to know what she was about to say so she cut her off, “Don't respond now, and don't think about fooling me. Just wait for us to serve you with cruel punishment tonight!”
