Avoid The Protagonist! Chapter 20

Xin Siyue wore a light blue jacket with a matching blue denim skirt tonight. Since she took good care of herself, her figure was curvaceous. 

As the girl sat down, Chen Sinan noticed her unintentionally glance up at him before immediately turning her head away in disgust. 

Chen Sinan's appearance in the auditorium had already caused quite a sensation in the crowds. When Ji Yi invited other people to sit at the judge's seats, unfortunately, there was only one remaining seat in the middle.

Chen Sinan looked at the seat, then glanced sideways at Ji Yi.

Ji Yi smiled and explained: "I reserved the seat for Senior Chen! If not, I'm afraid you wouldn't have come."

Chen Sinan whispered 'ah,' making it unclear whether he was satisfied or not.

After he was seated, Xin Siyue, who had been playing with her cellphone with her head down, suddenly looked up at Ji Yi with a fierce glare. Ji Yi happily responded with a 'You'll have to thank me' expression on his face.

Xin Siyue gritted her teeth as she thought: 'Sure enough, there's no free lunch in this world! This Ji Yi did it all on purpose! Otherwise, why would he have Chen Sinan sit right in front of her!

Even several bored people in the room began to notice the subtle situation. Zhong Qin tugged Xin Siyue's sleeves and whispered in her ear: "Why is Senior Chen's seat right in front of you?"

Xin Siyue was unhappy with her question, but she still controlled her tone as she replied: "How do I know?" That b.a.s.t.a.r.d definitely set this up.

When Zhong noticed her dissatisfied look, she hurriedly said, "But President Ji probably just wants to help you get closer to Senior Chen. He's given you a rare opportunity!"

Upon hearing their conversation, Chen Sinan, who sat upfront, lifted the corner of his lips and smirked. 'Hmph, who cares!'

Chen Sinan had little interest in these compet.i.tions. Since the program hasn't started yet, he looked through his mailbox to check the doc.u.ments sent over by his a.s.sistant. Occasionally however, he would look up when hearing that slightly dissatisfied female voice that resounded clearly from behind him.

'Haha, women are very fickle.' They would spout all kinds of flattery and admiration while pursuing someone, but once they have new goal, the former is easily abandoned.

Chen Sinan silently labeled her as someone who liked to 'play with people's feelings.'

Xin Siyue automatically blocked out the contents of the audience's whispers behind her, including their worship and love for Chen Sinan, their gossip of her crazy pursuits, and the strange coincidence that both their seats were this close to each other.

At the start of the program, Xin Siyue tried to focus her attention on the two MC's. 'Um, their clothes were well chosen. The two of them also seem very generous and the occasion is handled in a very coherent and responsive manner. Also, they skillfully delivered their lines and properly grasped the emotions with their words.'

'The two sisters also cooperated very well with each other.' After watching most of the program, Xin Siyue felt that she had gained a lot of knowledge. But the person in front of her had to go out and answer his phone from time to time, which made her feel irritated.

Every time Chen Sinan stood up, a little disturbance would happen all around them, and the name 'Chen Sinan' would be mentioned by people hundreds of times.

After who knows how many times the man had returned to his seat, Xin Siyue's mood finally flared up. She impulsively complained as he sat down: "Cla.s.smate, can you please keep a low profile?
