Lu Deng was silent for a moment. He turned the brambles back into seeds, turned his wrist and put them back in his palm.

A warm expression stole over Gu Ting’s face and he leaned over and kissed his forehead. He needed to guard his little prey. He hid the other behind him and turned towards the covetous vampire at the corner of the street.

Intense inky-black power flowed out of his body. Almost without any warning, it was already bearing down toward the vampire staring covetously on the corner of the street.

The pit of his stomach sank. His show of power instantly provoked the powerful seal to counterattack, opening a pale golden barrier on his blood core. Together with the scant sunlight in the dusky sky, the long meager power he had was quickly consumed.

Despite the sudden pressure, Gu Ting’s expression hardly changed. He he raised one hand and majestically brought down the mighty and awe-inspiring power belonging to a high-ranking vampire. The lone vampire suddenly revealed intense fear.

The vampires feed on humans and it was sustainable to obtain their power from them. But hunting between vampires will only end when one party is completely deprived of power.

The second generation vampires have fallen into eternal sleep and there are very few third generation purebloods. Vampires always valued seniority and there weren’t many juniors who would dare to disobey him, not when they already know his ident.i.ty.
