Laylan stepped forward and sat directly in front of Gomorrah, as she had been instructed to. Gomorrah looked deep into Laylan's eyes and unexpectedly she could feel those piercing eyes deep inside of her mind. Gomorrah reached her hands up and touched Laylan's forehead and temples. Laylan's eyes closed and she felt Gomorrah's presence in her own thoughts.
Suddenly, Laylan was standing on the sh.o.r.e of Beskal, her home. She felt a soothing calm set deep inside of her and knew she was inside Gomorrah's thoughts and memories. She glanced around quickly and could see Greagan to her left and Luca.s.sius, Greagan and Gomorrah's son, standing to her right.
Luca.s.sius stood tall and athletic with a strong jaw line that gave him a hard look. His eyes, although, were gentle, light blue with dark rings around the iris. His hair was of a golden blond that was pulled back out of his face with small braids that started at his ears and met behind his head.
To Luca.s.sius' right stood Artimous, the unicorn and as far as she could see, there were elves and unicorns lined up on the sh.o.r.e. They all stood still and tall, as if waiting for a grand event.

Laylan could see through Gomorrah's eyes and watched as the moon, full in all of her glory rose up into the sky. It continued to rise until it touched the edge of the majestic sun. The sun began to disappear behind the moon until all that was seen was the ring of light lining the edge of the moon.
Suddenly, a bolt of lightning came down from the sky and struck the water of the bay. From the water rose a large ball of fire burning as intensely as the sun itself. They all watched as the fire turned blue and began to freeze. It froze entirely until it was nothing but a large ball of ice suspended in the air above the water. It slowly lowered back to the surface and melted. As it did, a giant white rose bud with red tips emerged on a pad from the orb and began to float to sh.o.r.e.
Everyone watched as it neared the banks. The moon moved away from the sun and began moving across the sky. Just as the rose touched the sandy beach, it bloomed.
Inside laid a woman, adult in size and development. She stood and looked at the crowd who had come to see her birth. Gomorrah was the first to speak. "h.e.l.lo, M'lady. Welcome to Cion. My name is Gomorrah and my husband, Greagan, here," she gestured to Greagan, "We will teach you all you need to know, that we can."
"h.e.l.lo. Pleasure to meet you, but why do you call me, M'lady?" the woman spoke.
"Because, M'lady, you are the princess of Pagan, but your proper name is Laylan."
