"Hehe 'Lucifer', are you confident of dealing with someone as 'powerful' as Leroy?" James asked as he looked at Noah with a sarcastic look.

Noah looked at his teammates with a serious look and said. "As much as we have achieved several relatively easy wins in a row, do not underestimate Leroy. We will not do the same as our opponents, especially against someone as powerful as Leroy who is almost a Blessed Rank C. I am not sure if I will be able to beat him."

At that moment, the lobby which was once quite crowded, was now very deserted. There were only ten people in the place: Noah and his team, and on the other side there were Leroy and his team.

The two teams just stared at each other without saying anything, until again, just as on the first day of the championship, Leroy went ahead of Noah with a smug expression.

"No, not again..." Noah thought without believing that this was happening again... It was not enough that this situation had happened on the first day, but apparently Leroy was not satisfied with the manner in which Noah had attempted to deal with him and decided to make another appearance with the impeccable appearance he had. Both the short blond hair and the perfectly trimmed blonde beard were facing Noah once again.

"Well now, apparently the n.o.ble Lucifer was better than I imagined, and once again he has graced us with his presence!" He said it as smugly as he did the last time, trying to elicit some reaction from Noah, but just as he imagined, just like the last time, Noah just ignored him and stared with a mocking expression. "You are lucky Lucifer; you are lucky that this battle is happening on Valorwatch, otherwise I would show you what power is, especially now with the new powers that I have achieved."

Hearing this, everyone was surprised, not even Leroy's companions knew this.

But among these people, there were two who didn't care about the nonsense Leroy was saying and had to restrain themselves from laughing in his face.

These people were Noah and Carlos. That's because they knew exactly what powers Leroy was talking about, but unfortunately they couldn't openly admit it, so they just ignored what Leroy was saying and concentrated on not laughing while maintaining the best poker face they had.

Fortunately, this apparently worked, as Leroy walked away with a mocking expression after threatening Noah without noticing that the two were actually shaking hands not out of anger, but to make the pain stop them from laughing.

The reason for the two of them to be like this was very simple: It wasn't because they just thought Leroy was an imbecile; that was already a fact for both of them, but not enough to make them both control themselves that way in order not to laugh, but because Robert was using the "new powers" to threaten Noah, but little did he know that these powers actually came from Noah himself.

After all, on the night that Leroy had gone with Bernard to a dark alley in a remote spot, the person who had rented the imps to him was none other than Noah.

It was as if Leroy was a novice who had just learned to use a slingshot and went to a former military store to buy a pistol, and for some reason after a few days he decided to use that same pistol to try to rob the gun shop where he had bought that gun.

Not only did that ex-soldier know how to use that weapon much better than Leroy, but this man could very well use his lack of preparation to take control of his weapon before he realized it and use it against him.

But as Leroy had just used this opportunity to threaten Noah within Valorwatch, Noah thought it best to just ignore that threat and not give anything away by saying that he was the Devil with whom Leroy had made a deal. In Noah's view, it was better to keep a rich client like Leroy than to use this opportunity just to feel better.

But seeing Leroy explaining about the imps he was able to control out of Valorwatch to his teammates with pride, Noah and Carlos looked at him with a small smile from the corner of their mouths before turning to the team itself and discussing the tactics that they would use during the game.

Noah knew that Leroy hadn't used everything he had, so during this match he would also use something he had but hadn't used.

Within minutes a screen with a countdown appeared in front of each of the 10 players, warning that in a few minutes their game would begin.

And before they knew it, they had teleported to the battlefield that would host the championship final.

Just as the host was promoting to the public, the battlefield of this confrontation would be themed with the battle of a Demon King against a Hero.

On one side, where Noah and his team had sp.a.w.ned, there was a large castle with black bricks decorated with lots of fire, lava, and blood.

On the other hand, on the other side of the big map was a glowing golden castle, representing a just kingdom that had hired the hero to deal with that evil Demon King.

Seeing the way the championship had decided to represent the teams on the personalized map, Noah couldn't help but laugh, as he didn't expect something as well done as this, not to mention how well it fit him, and how well practical that would be.

"Hehe, if in this game we are the demons, we will follow our role, and hope that the just heroes invade our castle, so the advantage will be completely ours," Noah said confidently as ideas invaded his mind as he looked at the flames that decorated the castle.
