"There's no need to double my salary! This job is similar to what I do at your grandfather's house. You don't have to pay me more. Your grandfather already pays me a high salary. This is what I should do," Auntie Peanut said immediately.

"Then I'll give you a bonus! Just go along with me regarding this matter. I'll have to trouble you to take good care of the two 'overgrown children' in my house during this period of time," Qiao Mei said.

Auntie Peanut smiled and nodded. Qiao Mei asked Xu Kang to bring Auntie Peanut around to familiarize her with the different rooms at home and to brief her on Qiao Qiang's usual routine. Auntie Peanut also told Xu Kang about Xia Jun's habits so that neither of them would annoy the two old men.

The house was lively again and it was soon time for the start of the school term. The day before school started, Qiao Mei went to the mall to buy clothes which students liked to wear.
