An Adult In Pokemon 53 Neo Cerulean Part 1.. A Dash Back To Another City...

"What a very festive town..." Gray said looking around. His Pokémon walked around slowly to the side and behind. All except Empress who was hanging from his back as usual. Her big eyes blinking as she took everything in. "Well, this has been a day. I say we head to one of the rest places after a meal."

"Sounds like a plan but a little change is needed," June said clasping her poke gear shut. "A colleague of mine, well older me named Bill has invited us to visit his inst.i.tute." She moved up to Gray's side. Both he and the Pokemon were looking over the side in wonder. 'Has he not been here as well?'

"Ah, the person who helped develop the Pokémon transfer system. Sounds fun." Gray said as he looked along the bridge side. He followed along the water and looked at the bigger cave that was now there. 'In the game, Mewtwo could be found in there. I wonder what is there now? Maybe a visit later?'

"Looking at the cave Gray?" June asked coming closer. "You need at least two badges to enter. That's two elite ones at that. So it will have to wait until later. But we can swim in the waters if you like."

"Sounds great! I won't miss you in a swimsuit having fun." Gray grinned looking at her.

"I don't have one." June ran furthur up and looked back at him over her shoulder. A look of mischief in her one visible eye. "Guess we will have to go at night time then." She winked and ran further along the bridge.

"Well .. that's .. h.e.l.l yeah!" Gray responded with fire in his eyes. He looked at his pokemon. "OK guys and gals, free time for yourselves. t.i.tan stays close to Growlithe. The rest of you are free to do what you want."

"Right." Growlithe said. The Nidoran came and bunched over to the much bigger Pokemon. "Time to train you up some t.i.tan. Pokemon style!"

"Pyron come down here," Gray said. Pyron flapped down and looked at him quizzically. "Want to help me go search for Pokémon that are in danger?" Pyron nodded and crouched a little. The little Totodile jumped on and they flew off.

"Well come on," Growlithe said. "We can go train in the gra.s.ses up ahead. Later Gray."

"Bye have fun." Gray waved them off and watched as Clyde went to follow. "Guess he is going to keep an eye on them." He looked back to see Gale following along on unsteady legs. She could walk fine on the ground but the logs of the bridge, they have given her some trouble. She refused to wear shoes just yet.

"This is so difficult to do." Gale groaned. She almost fell forward but caught herself. "I think I should go back to the other one." She pointed to the metal bridge down below.

"Ok." Gray lifted her and jumped down. He then sent a message to June. 'We are down below. Gale couldn't walk the bridge that well. Want me to bring you down?'

'Nope.' June replied cheerfully. She was getting better at using her aura to talk through. Much better than Gray initially was able to. She then flew in the air and landed next to them. "I can fly yah know."

"Haha, right." Gray laughed at the foolishness of it. "Well let's go."

"Gray," Gale said. "Put me down." Her cheeks rosy red. Gray saw that she actually looked older. A byproduct of her actual age as a Pokemon. "No way to treat an old woman!"

"Oh right." Doing that he was feeling a little awkward but it pa.s.sed quickly. "No point in doing that if you are trying to walk more."

"Right. Empress a little help." Gale waited as Empress turned into a medium state an entered her. Gales posture became better and a purple glow could be seen in her eyes. "Much better."

As they walked she grabbed Gray's arm and pulled closer to him. At first glance, all people would see was a couple walking down the bridge. Only thing strange was the woman was barefooted and a little older. Very pale and possibly sickly.

'Hah, I wonder if I can deage her if we sleep togethor? Then again would be a d.i.c.k move just to bang her to make her younger. Can I give her more aura power to help I wonder? It worked on...' Gray's thoughts were interrupted by a bubble appearing.

"Gray! The house is right around the corner!" June was cheerful as she waved. Gray was to deep in thoughts and forgot about everything else.

"Alright!" Gray waved back with his free hand. "Gale I will need to do something about your age soon. I rather nor lose you. Especially after just getting to know you."

"We are working on it as well Gray. Do not worry a plan is already formed." Her smile caused Gray to get rid of the slight frown. "I will be near you for a long time. We still have to have our fun with each other." Gale interlaced her fingers with his. The cool touch feeling great under the sun. "Relax and lets have fun. I also do not have a swimsuit." With another squeeze, she stepped on the gra.s.s and ran to June.

"Haa, good. No worries then." Gray stared at the middle age man that exited the house. 'Bill has gotten up their in age. Shouldn't he be like what 29 or something? Wait that is not right. The show and comics put him as an older teen. The game made him an actual man. So maybe 40? EH screw it. Most likely a dungeon or something.'

"h.e.l.lo!" The middle-aged Bill said. "So. you must be Gray. I have heard a lot about you." He offered his hand for a shake. Gray took it and gave a firm shake before letting go. "Your pretty strong. Want to have a battle?"

"Meh, maybe later. I rather you explain your research for June. That is why we are here in the first place."

"No problem. Juniper, he said no." Bill called out.

"Really. how suprising." She entered with Gale following behind. Empress was still fused inside her but sleeping now. "So what is the research you have now that was so important?"

"Right. I have perfected my machine of transferring man and Pokemon. In the future, it will make human Pokemon relations even better." Bill was excitied as he talked. "A possible chance of opening a new avenue in the Pokemon Fusion process."

"Well.. that is exciting," June stated. She walked overlooking at the machine with Bill. She spared a glance at Gray who just looked around the room with Gale from their seats. She took note the fact Gray was close to a window. 'Even now he is wary. Should I increase my guard as well?' Shaking that thought away, June focused on the research.

-A few hours later after dinner was had-

"Gray where are you going?" June asked seeing him walking to the open door. His Pokemon all lined up outside ready to depart.

Gray just finished returning a message on his Pokegear looking back. "Yeah. Going to Pewter city. Gonna fight the Gym Leader there to qualify for the regular slot in badges. Cant very well go back to Clay's s.h.i.t gym."

"Come on. It is late at night." June walked up to him and grabbed his hand. "You can do that later."

"Better this way. I can train as we beeline it straight there. Once I arrive in the city, I can stay at a place and rest for a little. Get up and fight the Gym Leader. Just teleport back here solving that little issue of distance. Or I could run back as well." Gray looked at her with a grin. "Besides, gives you the chance to catch up with Bill."

June let go and stepped back. Her neck was a little red. Chroma decided then to chime into her thoughts. 'He knows you dated Bill. Male intuition. Guess he is giving you time for whatever you need to do. Which is odd. Growlithe's do not share mates. So good luck with that land mine.'

'Nothing between us like that. It was a few dates!' June looked at Gray's posture. He just looked at her waiting for a response. "Go ahead and go to Pewter City. But come and get me before you have your battle."

"No problem. I will leave Gale here with you. As well as Pyron. Neither are suited for that gym. I also want you to give them a check-up if you have the time." Pulling some notes out of his bag he handed it to June. "Notes on their growths. Your eyes only. I do not want anyone else looking at them. Am I clear?"

"Ok." June nodded.

"I am serious. No colleague bulls.h.i.t confirmation stuff. Sensitive material." Gray said sternly. Seeing June nod he shot off with his Pokemon in tow.

'I will make sure no one looks at the notes June when you sleep.' Chroma said from inside. 'Just focus on figuring out what you can from the material.'

"Yeah, come on Gale and Pyron." June looked at the two. At first glance, she noticed that Pyron was a lot bigger than he used to be. Very noticeable now that he was on the ground and up close. 'It cannot be anything bad can it?'

-Next Day at Pewter Gym-

"So this guy is good huh?" Gray asked as they waited. He didnt believe it but left it alone. "Find out anything about those two."

"His dad may not have one been at the League finals ever, but his brother is a famous Pokemon Breeder." June smiled. "Brocks brother has trained hard to take over the gym and lead it to prominence from what I heard. As for those two, I am still going through everything. So far, Pyron is healthy. Gale just a little tired more is all. That is mostly due to her age. But she has a lot of power thanks to the special training."

"Uhuh sounds good." Gray felt his blood rise at the idea of fighting a strong opponent. "Cannot wait to get started then."

"Will the Challenger please step forward." The referee called out. Gray walked over and stood where he had to. "I am Yolanda your refree for today. What is your first Pokemon?" She asked giving him a once over.

"None of your business," Gray said. Her lack of eyes unnerved him a little. Even snakes show more than the people in this gym. He gave her a look as if she was crazy. "No rules saying I have to reveal the Pokemon I will use. Just need one at the ready."

"Your one of those trainers then." Yolanda the ref waited and signal the Gym Leader to appear. A man a little younger than Gray came out. His five clock shadow was the only distinguishing trait about him. He looked exactly like Brock otherwise. "Gym Leader Forrest, you ready?"

"Ready to rock!" His voice was loud and projected in the room. Gray felt his defense drop a little. The gym leader had used Screech while talking. If his pokemon was out, it would have its defense drop. The Gym's after he looked it up for the standard league. Had all kinds of different test they would do on Trainers. Some were above the board. Some were not. This one was, however. "Go Geodude!"

"An overside Geodude popped out. It looked to be bigger than what its final evolution would look like, Golem. Its hands were bigger than a barrel. When it hovered before falling, little flecks of rock floated as well.

"Geoo dudee!" Rock N Roll. It screamed its name as it hit the ground. The ground shook a little.

'Go, Empress!' Gray sent her out using the Expokeball Function.

"When she appeared, Empress stare at the Pokemon. Grabbing at her chin, and she crouched low making herself seem small and timid. She looked scared. Tears started coming down her face as she looked away from the Geodude.

"This is a one on one battle. No items allowed. Begin!"

"Braa, bra." Dont wanna. Empress said as the waterworks came down.

"How terrible to make her fight like this." The Gym leader shook his head in disappointment. His Geodude mimicking him. "Look at those tears. Geodude go and console her."

As soon as it got close, a twinkle appeared in Empress's eye.

"Kadabra!" Idiot she said. Empress fired a Psybeam right into its face. The attack carried the Geodude out of the arena and through the roof of the building. "Kadddbraa," pathetic she huffed. Empress floated in the air and did a twirl. Her voice came out arrogant. She lived up to her name.

"Thats... a little much," June said from the sidelines. Empress turned and gave her the thumbs up. "Hehee of course she is the same as Gray after all."

"The.. the.. winner.. is the challenger," Yolanda said depressed and unbelieving of the situation. "Oh.. the roof.. should of had it opened."

"Good job Empress," Gray said neutrally. She floated over and wrapped around him as she shrunk in size. "May I have my badge now? I have something I wish to do."

"Hold it!" Forrest called out. "I want another match. A proper one."

"No. Give me my badge for I can leave. Do not be that Gym Leader." Gray said shaking his head. Empress turned to roll her eyes at him. "Time to fork it over."

"Gray.. dont make a scene." June smiled wrly. "Surely you can give him a rematch."

"I could but I am not. No reason to." He shook his head again.

"That was a dirty move you used," Forrest said. "Using an underhanded trick like that. Have you know shame?"

"No, I do not. Shame is nonexistent because I do not need it." Gray smirk. "Give me my badge or else." The gym leader was weak as well as the Geodude. It just looked intimidating. There was no reason to linger. Only two of his Pokemon would get anything from fighting this guy. Not anything they could not get from anywhere else.

"That is enough Forrest." A voice came from the side. It was Brock along with Ash. "You cannot beat him."

"See. Now give me my badge. Please." Gray held his hand out and forced a smile. He was starting to get irritated now.

"No! It is not fair! He sucker-punched me like a chump!" Forrest whined.

"Sucker.. punched.." Gray veined throbbed in his head as he gritted his teeth. "I will show you a sucker punch m.u.t.h.e.rf.u.c.ker!" His hand encased in aura, Gray was ready to knock the gym leader out. "You were the dumb a.s.s that fell for the Fake Tears move. What are you an idiot?!"

"Gray calm down," June said standing up. "No need to escalate things."

"Gray here." Brock said offering a Gym badge over. "Sorry for the incovience."

"Thanks." Taking the badge he put it in his pocket. Turning to leave with June he was stopped. "Move now."

"How about a battle?" It was Ash. "A proper one this time."

"How about an Elite death battle. Loser pokemon losses its life." Gray said snarling. Ash had picked up another blessing somewhere. Whatever Pokemon it was, caused Gray to become angry. "That is the only way we are going to duke it out."

"I.. do not do those kinds of battle."

"Bye then." Gray walked away with June grabbing his hand. "Ha," taking a deep breath they teleported back to Neo Cerulean.

"Swoosh," arriving at the location he let June's hand go.

"You ok?" June looked on a little puzzled. 'His aura started growing near Ash. Wonder what that was about?'

"Yeah just.. Ash received a blessing from a Pokemon. It unsettled me a little. Haaaa need to go do something energy-consuming." Gray was already calm again. A bubble appeared in front of him as June checked her Poke Gear.

(Trainer Ash Ketchum has gained the Blessing of a false Pokemon. Genesect. Your task is to kill it if you come across it.)

'Well, better not be anywhere nearby. That thing should be quite powerful.' Gray gave Empress a pet on the head. "You did great. You did a little to well playing weak like that."

"I am not weak though!" Empress retorted a little angry. "I can show you in time. Put me in more battles."

"Easy, did not mean anything by it." Gray leaned forward and gave her a kiss on the forehead to calm her down. In response, Empress just leaned into his chest and tightened her tail. "What are you looking at June?"

'But I am not weak. Ughh I hate being this way. Time to escalate my growth.' As Empress thought that, her tail wrapped around Gray a little tighter. 'I have to reach my next evolution state. That way I can share everything with him.'

"You two are so much alike at times." June walked over and wanted to add something more but was. .h.i.t with a sense of Deja vu. "I have a good thing planned for you tommorrow. Look forward to it."

"Oh really. Sounds good to me. Glad you have found things for us to do. Oh my Gym Battle at Cerulean Gym is later." Gray turned to face her while they walked. "I checked the forums by a lot of people on the gym. It shouldnt be that difficult."
