Magical Ties 54 Call To The Commander

Astila sits watching the river flow . The rays sparkling like diamonds on the surface . Thinking about what John had to say. "Hey son how is domestic life?" He jokes as he answers. Astila smiles at his friends joke . He always thought of him as a hard nosed cold person . That is until he started to date his niece. It dawned on him that was another twist. That they lead him to her years ago and then now as well. He shakes his head for just a moment.

"Well I want to ask you about what you know of the house and what you think about some of your family?" Hoping this won't offend him.

"Oh boy I guess there must be some jealousy going on right now. With Aisling actually having some true treasures in the house and from the lake. Well here is what I know the main part which is the living room , sitting room. Kitchen and dinning room. This was built before even the revolutionary war. The owner at that time was considered strange she was what we would call Eccentric . She stayed to herself and people would go to her for readings. Her grandson went to war and never came back. When that happened she withdrew completely from society. The military took it over for a base and it became a field office and hospital so to speak . After the war was over it just went back to the woods . Then a couple newly here from Europe were traveling through and decided to stay. At that time you just claimed what you wanted and registered it at the court house as long as no one claimed otherwise it was no problem. The couple fixed up the old house and added to it . It's said the the original house was built to be the exact center of the four directions. That if you mapped it every measurement is exact . The first few years they had no children and made it into a bed and breakfast or a boarding house at those times. They would hold grand parties and the woman always had a never ending supply of food and drink . Even during shortages. It's said that she traded her husband to the devil to get a child. She was very mature when she finally was with child. The day her son was born was the day her husband died. After that she got a few girls to come and help entertain travelers staying at the boarding house. When my great grand parents arrived they got a room at the boarding house and the woman said the house let her know it was their time to have it. So she just packed what they needed and with the money my great grand parents paid her she and the others left. They moved into the town. It wasn't until Aisling was born that anyone ever knew of any of the secrets in the house. We found out when she opened a cubby in the dinning room. There was a small silver chest with the locket she wears. Now my great gran may have known about them but she never told any of us. Oh and the boy of the previous owner married my gran that boy was John his family originally was from Ireland. He only lived until they had their third child. Boy now he was a piece of work. Remind me to tell you about him some other time. Now as to the family and Aisling. There are only two people that I worry about hurting her. Her brother and john's wife. They both have nasty tempers and think they are owed the world. They will try to turn Debra against her. They will also try to get her to give them a share. Don't let them. Also don't let anyone bully her. She has the worst temper out of everyone in the family. She is like my mother. She can cut you to ribbons with just words. She does everything she can not to get upset. If she ever lets her temper go we all may get a show we don't want to see. Take care of her if you have to you stand between them and her. John and I will be standing right beside you. I believe that she is who the old woman used to say was the chosen one. If so she is in for something amazing . It may be hard but it will be amazing. I just hope that she never gets possessed again that was freaking scary." Astila thanks him for talking to him and letting him know what to expect. He hangs up and heads home.
