"Oh it's just you Corvig, why didn't you just say you were here?" Norris said as he rubbed his now pink scalp. "We did, but your bald head was snoring! And let me tell you, you oaf, your snores made the walls shake again!" Corvig said, continuing the tirade.

"By Elfir, how could you berate an old man such as myself?" Norris tried to sound withered, a sly smile appearing underneath his facade. Corvig only scoffed and turned back to Donis who was just mesmerized by Norris's status.

Not only were there question marks, he saw that this spry, old man was actually nearly two hundred and fifty years old. He also had the [Essence] Mana State. It was the same state as Corvig, but he was nearly Corvigs senior by two hundred years! How is that possible?

Donis stood there with his mouth agape, Corvig perceived this as Donis being shocked at the argument and quickly tried to console the boy. Donis quickly closed his trap and tried to continue with the strange introductions.

Not wasting any more of Corvigs time, Norris decided to take the boy to a secluded room out behind the counters. It was a comfortably sized room, with oak coloured couches, a carpeted floor and small magic candles floating around the room lighting up any and all corners. A worn chair was placed in front of a certain couch and Donis was instructed to sit opposite the chair.

After sitting down, the old man followed suit. It was only the two of them and Norris a.s.sured that they valued his privacy, and that only Corvig, himself and if the King decides it, will his results be seen. A formality only, as everyone who enters knows the professionalism that Norris shows.

"Alright Donis, please tell me, you're very young, do you require me to cycle my mana through you to show me a brighter aura?" Norris opened up warmly. Donis was a child, he wasn't certain that Corvig was entirely truthful about this child's abilities. He probably wanted to speak up about the boy in front of him to calm him down.

"No sir, I'm fine. I think I can do this but I can't do it for very long just yet!" Donis quickly and excitedly replied. Stunned Norris could only nod, immediately casting his [Inspection] at the child.

Donis concentrated on the mana that was swirling ever so slowly inside of him and began trying to excite it. He wasn't sure if that was exactly what he needed to do, but the [System]s pseudo-memories explained the act of showing their aura by agitating their manapools.

A slow golden trickle began precipitating from all over Donis's body. First with a drop here and a drop there, and then it quickened, until it finally formed a fullly radiant golden aura. Norris was definitely impressed, barely able to keep his mouth closed. 'A child.. a child can produce such a magnificent aura?' thought Norris bewildered.

Quickly flicking his eyes to the centre of Donis's being, he noticed a black dot. A slow moving dot that seemed to exude from the depths of his golden aura. 'Dual blessings? By Elfir, he's blessed by Formosa and Variis. I haven't seen these two blessings together in my life! Hmm.. this boy also already has a [Wisp] Mana State. Unbelievable. I see why Corvig was so excited to show me this boy. He has near limitless talent!'

Donis had sat there for a while, his aura had long been retracted as he couldn't keep it up for very long. Five seconds at the most right now. This was still his personal best as he had never really tried it before, but he was sure he could probably bring this up soon with practice.

Norris was still stunned, uncertain how to proceed. He stood up and instructed Donis to stay there for the moment, he had to speak to Corvig. Donis nodded but followed Norris with his [Ocular Inspection] but only casting the heat and mana sense parts of it.

Donis had gotten pretty good at controlling each and every part of his new vision strengths over the weeks, able to cast them separately, as if they were different skills.

Donis could see that Norris and Corvig we're both exuding powerful auras, completely overshadowing everyone in the building. The mana their bodies naturally leaked seemed to almost blind Donis. He had to turn off the mana sense as it was still too much to handle for his small body.

He still couldn't make out what they were saying, but by the erratic hand signs that Norris was showing, he was probably excited. Donis was happy he decided to show off for Corvig, this could probably bring him to power faster than any other method.
