@@While the group was chatting, Annabelle started serving the food. The group starts eating without much though, already accepting the flavorless grit they've been eating every meal. What they didn't expect, was that the meal was delicious!
I watch as, one by one, each of their faces light up in delight. But a look of dread appears when they look to see a familiar purple-blue color on their utensils. Realization strikes them as they freeze, not knowing what to do next. They can't spit it out in fear of disrespecting the cook, but they don't want to swallow it either, in fear of poisoning. They all turn to face their leader for an answer.

The meal consisted of Kami fruit three ways. One part looked like mashed potatoes, another like French fries, and the last looked to be roasted potatoes.
The Kami fruit has it's own unique flavor and has a surplus of nutrients, so only eating the fruit for a meal is not really a problem, but...isn't it kind of overkill?
The group doesn't seem to mind though. Although they would have gladly eating the bland food, that doesn't mean they are satisfied with it. By the end of the meal, the caravan group happily pay their stomachs with gleeful expression. They thank Annabelle and head back to their room.
As night approaches, I can spot some unease on the faces of the group. I think they're worried about the "poison". The restlessly sleep until morning.

As the morning sun rises, I go to the lake to check on the Kami fruit. It's made to grow fruit every day, but I had no way to test if it was true or not. I want to check on the fruit just in case something went wrong.
Thankfully, when I get there, the fruit on the shrubs are just starting to ripen, just a couple more minutes and it'll be done.
