A shiny green light appeared and started expanding above Kuro's hand. A paper scroll that seemed to be some sort of contract materialized out of the green light.

Without getting the time to digest everything, the conversation continues.
"Then your fine with the consequences?" Manbun says without hesitation, but I can spot a hint of it in his eyes.

Manbun walks up to the glowing paper, bites his finger, and lets the blood flow onto the contract before saying "accepted" in the strange language.
Then the contract grows blindingly brighter before dissipating anticlimactically. The room regains it's silence. The two opposing groups keep glaring at each other before a cough is heard. The interruption causes the enemy to wake up and they proceed to hop out the window, leaving a gloomy Manbun u0026 friends behind.
The group relaxes after the enemy retreats, including Manbun who weakenly falls on his knees with a grunt. Blaze-kun, Nars, and Cold-kun worriedly rush to the commander's side, checking his condition.
Manbun, annoyed at their unfounded worry, swats them away, stating,"It's just some external wounds and exhaustion." He tries to stand up without much progress. He's obviously trying to push himself...anyone can tell just by looking at him. A handsome but worryingly pale face, large beads of sweat running down onto his collar, soaking his clothes.
The rest of the group also notice his physical state. Making the quick decision to go on the offensive, Nars apologizes before sweeping Manbun into a princess carry.
Before I have time to fantasize, the group quickly head out, into the direction of Magi-kun's lab. I start to follow before pausing and look at the injured Manbun for a moment, debating something in my head before turning around to chase after the enemy ikemen.
