After getting close enough, the flag in Nars' hand becomes visible. He also spots me, raising the flag in the air, ready for me to grab it.

I swoop down, s.n.a.t.c.h the flag, and yell,"I owe you one!"

Holding the flag, I super speed my way back to the main tree. Magi-kun's potion should have worn off a while ago, so Cold-kun still has a chance of finding the flag before me...of course that's only if he's brazen enough to enter Manbun's room. Ah, and he might meet up with the a.s.sa.s.sin if their heading in the same direction. I anxiously try to speed up, hoping I'll make it to the tree before Cold-kun.

With the main tree in sight and only one figure leaning against the tree, I get a little giddy. Before I realize what I'm doing, I dash towards Nars, knocking into him. Clinging to him, I smile and laugh gleefully,"I win!"(*^▽^*)

"Congratulation." Nars says in an even tone, patting my head with a finger.

I look up and smile at him,"thanks!" I calm down and let go of him. Moving a couple feet away, I hover in the air.

"By the way, what did you use to block Cold's attack?"

"Ah! That was a potion I got from Magi-kun."

"Magi-kun?" (^_-)

"Ah, right. Umm, the adult in a kid's body."

"Ah, ******. He told you his story? He usually tries to hide and make people forget about it as much as possible. If he willingly told you, that means he trusts you."

Trusts me? I guess there has to be a certain level of trust between a scientist and it's test subject. "So what happened to the frozen Cold-kun after I left?"

At my words, Nars show an expression of not knowing whether to cry or laugh. "After about four minutes the potion wore off and-"

"Eh?! Four minutes?" I ask in confusion. Magi-kun said the potion would last for 8 minutes...

"Hmm? Yea, it lasted for about four minutes, why?"

"Ah, not, it's nothing, continue." I'm guessing because the potion hit both of us, the time limit was divided into two. That's the only explanation I could think of... that means Cold-kun had more time to look for the flag than I thought. Well, it doesn't matter at this point, because I've already won. I should mention this to Magi-kun though...

Nars continues where he left off,"-and Cold immediately threw a dagger at me...how cruel." He makes a very fake, saddened expression. (◞‸◟)

That's better than what I thought he'd do to Nars. The fact that he laughed at Cold-kun was already bad. Adding on to that fact,I wasn't there to take Cold-kun's anger out on, so he would be taking the punishment of two people, I believed skinning him alive was a very big possibility in my mind. I can only chalk it up to their friendship and the time gap I created between us.
