As the ape king he was pretty much the top of the food chain around here. And usually anybody who saw him would flee without a second thought, and if he felt like it, he would start hunting the prey down.
Ever since it arrived in this world, this environment was basically a giant supermarket to it, with no fear of a bigger predator.
This was the first time that something saw it and it's first reaction was actually to chase it down and release that killing intent. He'd met humans before, and physically, this creature was the spitting image of human biology. But the feeling he gave off was one like his own.
Behind the human was a creature who acted appropriately in the face of a much stronger predator, though she was stoic in the face of danger, it could see the worry in her eyes which were darting here and there, finding for a way around.
Immediately his attention switched back to the boy who dared step in his path. It was nice to have a change of pace once in a while, so it decided to see what guts the little man had in order to stand in it's path.
Almost as immediately as they found themselves face to face with each other the fight began. Both threw a right hook at almost the same time, fiat meeting fist.
With that said though, there was a lot of difference between them both. For one, the Ape Kong's fist we're the size of boulders, just the knuckles alone were at least the size of Zhao Wei's torso.
When they met, the fist didn't stop for even a second as it broke through not only Zhao Wei's punch but followed through to smash against his body. Sending him hurtling into the dirt tens of meters away, stopping nicely after he had dug out a deep gutter into the ground.
The ape was shocked again the nth time today, to be honest he wasn't expecting the human to meet it's attacks. Supposedly they were the smarter ones.
He'd thrown that fist to play around, hoping to see the human dance a little from the strength difference. But the punches met each other, and although the human went flying without much resistance, he'd felt the force of that punch against his own. At the very least, it was wonderfully surprised, something it hadn't felt in a very long time.
Thirteen could only watch in abject horror as she saw the two clash. The force of that punch was at least as strong as a full force attack from Gary during their fight, the problem was that this thing was just playing around and it had already put Zhao Wei down.
She was actually quite afraid that Zhao Wei wouldn't be coming back up this time, for all his will and endurance she'd never seen him take a hit like that head on. Even against the Jormugandr, the thing had never actually made a clean hit against him.
But both beast and companion were in for a surprise. He was actually still struggling to come back in. Even from that distance the both of them could see that at the very least, two out of four of his limbs already were no longer facing the direction, the other two were probably suffering heavy internal injuries or more and though he was probably trying to growl all that came out were drowned gurgles from the blood that was filling his lungs.
At this point, the ape king smiled delightedly from cheek to cheek as he jumped over to where his body was sprawled. With it's speed and size, it arrived before Thirteen's muscles could even twitch. If he wasn't dead before, Thirteen was sure he was going to be dead now.
But what happened went against everything's she expected to happen. Instead of bringing those car sized fists down on top of Zhao Wei, the beast gingerly held him by his leg, tapping his abdomen to make sure he was breathing before laying him down on one of his palms and looked around before bounding away.
Thirteen stood there, absolutely unsure of what to do right now.
