In a moment she was taking all their attacks like a fair sport and then she decided to change the game up. She stood on the spot for a few moments without trying to smash any of them which really wasn't like her.
Then she decided to cheat, it was like she was telling them to get a few good hits in before she crushed their hopes and dreams as she stepped on the ground which exploded upwards all around her. Sand bursting forth like a great big mushroom cloud.
Trouble was, she was somehow able to solidify the cloud, turning the whirling sand into a solid wall of rock. The wires around her suddenly found itself taut around a giant boulder. In the next moment the giant dome of rock split itself into several sections before bursting forward in every direction, weaving around each other as if they had a mind of their own.
Under that kind of pressure, the wires snapped as if they'd never been there in the first place and Zhao Wei and Panda found themselves frantically trying to avoid the seemingly sentient pillars from mauling them.
Myra had it a little better at first as she was able to dive into the shadows again, but not for long as Gary hardened the sand all around her and sliced of a whole section of the ground containing the shadow Myr was hiding on. With a small grunt she lifted the whole piece and lobbed it as far as she could, even when Myra tried to re-materialize, the wind pressure from going at that speed kept her stuck on the rock until it finally crash landed several kilos away.
Yes Gary could do magic. And not in the simply destructive way like a berserker should be doing. There was finesses and control over the movement which was completely mind boggling to Zhao Wei. Just a moment ago she was swinging that hammer like a deranged psychopath and now suddenly she turned into an earth bender? No! unacceptable.
The pillars that chased them morphed themselves into spitting images of Gary's arm, complete with the hammer to strike at them like it was a game of wack-mole.
The worst part was, they were still within view of that giant lug who was currently healing herself while she watched them struggle under her skills, and yet they could do nothing to keep her from stopping the process. It was not a good feeling watching what they spent the better half of the fight trying to do, repair itself in several minutes. The other half was spent not getting themselves flattened by the pet owner of G.o.dzilla.
But then Zhao Wei caught a glimpse of the most beautiful little girl running away from Gary's body, in that moment he knew she was done with the job he left her and not a moment too soon as Gary finished closing up most of her wounds and was in the process of reattaching her arm back in place.
But before he could decide to do anything, she suddenly disappeared from view. Somehow, they were able to lose track of her gigantic body and that detached arm which was floating in the air just a second ago.
It didn't take them long to find her though as she reappeared again, just another step away from them. Behind her the sound of a pretty substantial explosion was heard as nature finally realized that she'd just broken the sound barrier, and with her size, that was a pretty big break.
Zhao Wei was just about to touch the trigger before her silver blood swirled, controlling her detached arm like a puppet on her disturbing string and launching it at him like a rocket punch. Zhao Wei didn't even have a moment to react as he tried his best to jump out of the way, barely getting grazed by her pinky knuckle which sent him hurtling through the air. Zhao Wei always liked watching Mazinger Z, and the attack was pretty cool if not simple, but feeling the effects of it firsthand... Really he could only say kudos to the villains, it must've been hard every time they had to take the hit and keep a straight face for the enjoyment for the audience.
But, she didn't follow through with the kill, choosing instead to occupy herself with Panda. Or maybe she'd sent another of her giant rock pillar arms which was sprouting from the ground behind him and was prepared to smash him right now. Yep it was definitely there, the world quickly darkened around him as he saw a hammer coming down.
