This candy wouldn’t even be enough to get stuck between my teeth, thought Little Jing Kong, who had once had to s.n.a.t.c.h food from the little monks just to eat his fill at every meal.

"You eat it." Little Jing Kong said as he pushed the candy into her mouth.

"Mmm..." The Little County Princess’s mouth was stuffed full.

Oooh, this osmanthus candy is really delicious.

Little Jing Kong, with his exceptional hearing, could tell that no one was in the yard at the moment.

He looked at the Little County Princess, "Little Xue, let’s escape."

Little Jing Kong pushed open the woodshed door and led the Little County Princess into the yard. He then found a spot suitable for climbing over the wall.

He said to the Little County Princess, "There’s a tree here. In a moment, we’ll climb up the tree and be able to get over the wall."

The Little County Princess lowered her head, fiddling with her fingers, and said in a very small voice, "But I don’t know how to climb trees."

The vendor pushed off with his toes and leaped onto the top of the wall. Scanning the surroundings, he spotted a rope lying in the gra.s.s not far away.

It was the rope from their woodshed.

The man in black climbed over the wall and joined the vendor, "Did you find something?"

The vendor looked ahead at a vast field of sorghum, which was taller than a person, and finally spotted a small child’s footprint in a muddy puddle hidden among the bush.

Judging by the direction of the toes, the child had headed towards the sorghum field.

The vendor said coldly, "Chase after them!"

The vendor and the man in black rushed towards the sorghum field.
