Ning w.a.n.g threw the spoon back into the bowl and looked at Ning w.a.n.gfei fixedly, his eyes no longer as gentle as before, but heavy and profound. He asked, "What exactly are you trying to do?"

Ning w.a.n.gfei raised her head and gazed at him, her almond-shaped eyes never blinking, showing a hint of amus.e.m.e.nt and scorn. She replied, "I’m not trying to do anything. "Before." The confidant answered.

Ning w.a.n.g narrowed his eyes.

Three days later, Ning w.a.n.g brought along someone and appeared at the Rui w.a.n.g Residence. The Crown Prince was with him as well.

The Crown Prince was puzzled, "Eldest brother, why did you call me to Rui w.a.n.g Residence?"

Ning w.a.n.g replied, "There are some matters that need to be explained to third brother and third sister-in-law in your presence."

The Crown Prince asked, "What matters?"

Ning w.a.n.g replied, "You'll find out soon."

Rui w.a.n.g and Rui w.a.n.gfei looked puzzled as well.

Ning w.a.n.g looked down at Wen Yang, his usual gentle expression now replaced with a touch of sternness. He asked, "Two days before the Moon Festival, did you secretly enter the imperial palace?"

Wen Yang, pressed to his knees by Ning w.a.n.g's men, recalled the incident but lacked the strength to respond, "I... I didn't sneak in... I went... I went to see my sister!"

Ning w.a.n.g said coldly, "Entering the imperial palace without being summoned is sneaking in. Even having the East Palace's token is useless!"

Wen Yang's neck shrank.

It wasn't the first time Wen Yang used the East Palace's token to enter the imperial palace. He had been caught twice before, and the token was confiscated by the Crown Princess. Rui w.a.n.gfei was stunned, "Then the State of Chen’s hostage prince..."
