Shiv frowned a little. His instincts told him something bad was there. Though this was not the first time he visited the water source, the atmosphere this time was clearly different from when he visited that place a few days back. It even felt a little ominous to stay there.
Shiv asked General Veer to bring a few soldiers so that if they were to encounter the kidnapper they could catch him without much trouble.
Aditya and Abhinav also tagged along with them to look over the situation.
Except for Ira and Aditya suddenly everyone started becoming so lifeless. Shiv grew so pale and looked like he was on the verge of collapsing.
Ira panicked looking at situation.
"Aditya, what is happening here? Why are they suddenly like this?"
Aditya remained silent as his expression turned fierce. Ira doesn't understand what was happening. That was the first time she had seen Aditya looking so murderous.
'What should I do? Wait... Probably this is the time for me to use those powers...'
"Seal... release me!" Ira muttered under her breath.
The next moment there was a wave of strong wind. The wind was so strong that it felt like the skies roared in amus.e.m.e.nt.
Aditya finally snapped out of it as he looked at Ira. Ira's black wavy hair slowly started turning white until it completely became as white as the pure snow. Her pitch black eyes were replaced with a pair of beautiful ocean blue.
Aditya could feel her energy in the air. Shiv clenched his chest as he groaned in pain. His beautiful mystic eyes glowed as the pain subsided.
Everyone else fainted from the lack of energy except for Ira, Shiv and Aditya.
"What is that thing? It seems to be sucking out their energy..." Ira was able to see something mysterious. It looked like a big transparent ball floating in the air.
"Shiv slash it with your sword or else it will continue to feed on their life energy until they die."
Shiv looked at Aditya in awe. Even though Aditya was his close friend, there were simply a lot of things that he was not aware of him. Shiv simply choose to turn a blind eye as he never dug into his past.
Just like he instructed Shiv unsheathed his sword and gathered his strength as he slashed that ball. The moment his sword hit that ball, it produced a loud noise akin to a wail.
The noise was too loud that they felt like their head bursting. Aditya unsheathed his sword and landed a last strike making it shatter into tiny pieces.
"What just happened? Is it over?" Ira was not sure what was happening around her.
Aditya looked at her with serious eyes.
"Your power helped Shiv to awaken his... Don't ask anything more, when the time is right I will tell you both everything."
Ira who always tends to be more curious somehow was not able to oppose him. Aditya looked a little dominant unlike his usual lively and kind self.
They both nodded in agreement with his words without any further questions or clarifications.
Ira walked near the abundant water but to her surprise she felt like she b.u.mped into something. She stretched out her hands to feel it again.
Her blue eyes were wide in amazement. She could indeed feel something like a wall. But her naked eye couldn't see anything out of ordinary.
"I can feel something here. Come and take a look!"
"It feels like a wall, your a.s.sumption is correct Lady Ira. There is a barrier here."
Ira's pendant started glowing. The radiance emitted was so strong and blinding.
"Why is your pendant emitting a red light. Is something there?" Ira and Aditya were both equally shocked by Shiv's remark.
'It is emitting a golden light but how come Shiv is seeming something different... Wait, don't tell me it's that pendant's second power. Then, does these two have a unfavorable fate?'
Aditya took a peek at Ira before saying anything. Ira was equally surprised as him and it feels like she is already aware of its other power.
Ira didn't say anything, she simply went ahead and touched the barrier.
"Dispel!" With one single word from her mouth the ground shook as the barrier completely disappeared.
The already ominous atmosphere turned even more sinister as the dark clouds began to engulf the whole sky turning the bright day into something odd and gloomy.
They felt like they were teleported to a different place.
"This is the power of the third sacred stone 'Intersection'. Just like its name, this sacred stone has the power to connect two different places in a certain point." Aditya calmly explained them.
Aditya knew more about these than those two imagined. He was indeed an unsolved mystery for Shiv.
"Then, you mean we are currently in a different place?" It all felt surreal that she began to get more distressed.
Shiv went ahead and placed his huge palm on her head as he gently gave her a light pat. He understood her anxiety and wanted her to feel at ease.
"Don't worry, no matter what happens, I will protect you!"
Ira's mind went blank. The word unfortunate encounter circled her head. But despite all of her anxiousness she held his hand tightly and gave him one of her beautiful smiles.
'I am indeed worried about our future. But if it is with him, I am willing to fight for it.'
She silently swore to herself.
The place was filled with stagnant air. The trees were thick and dense. If one was not careful, they might actually lose their way.
They started exploring the place for a while. In a distance Aditya found a huge abandoned castle and warned them to be careful as they were not aware of what could be lingering in there.
Shiv held Ira's hand as they advanced towards the abandoned castle.
