I really hate the way I translated the t.i.tle so if anyone is going to add it to Novel Updates, please use the romaji t.i.tle “Isekai Trip no Wakiyaku datta Ken”

Btw, those expecting snusnu in this story, prepare to be utterly disappointed: snusnu only at the end. There are 45 chapters. Don’t hold your breath. This is more of a comedy story. It’s not the most amazing story but I found it entertaining enough.

On that day, I was sitting alone at a seat in the coffee lounge of my Woman's University.

In my hand was a crispy waffle cone with strawberry milk gelato piled on top.

With a cute pink color, when I took a bite, the strong flavor of milk and the refreshing acidity of the strawberries spread out, it was an amazingly magnificent dessert.

This coffee lounge was limited to the Woman's University only, and it sold a mult.i.tude of wonderful desserts that grasped the hearts of young women. Just like an ice cream shop, cones and gelato flourished on the counter. Today I tried making it a single scoop of strawberry milk gelato.

「Ahhー so yummyー, strawberry milk is G.o.d tier ice cream! So happyー」

While grinning I lip smackingly dined on the sweet and sour gelato, enjoying a moment after school.

My name is Oosawa Michiru. I was a third year at a certain Woman's University with it's campus located in the metropolitan area, learning about j.a.panese literature.

I don't think my appearance is unsightly, but there isn't anything special to mention about it either, in short I'm a regular plain Jane…… No, I'm just a little plain within the group of girls who are of age and are concerned about their fashion, on the contrary my friends have retorted  「try to be cuter!」before, I might be of the orientation where people will avert their eyes.

Somehow it felt like I good omen so I took it as praise, but…… when I think about it clearly, isn't that a youkai!? 3

A girl of reasonable age looking like a youkai, isn't that too much!?

For fashion, it was t-shirts and jeans as default.

I tried wearing a skirt to up my style and went to a goukon 4 at an Italian place, but it was only uncomfortable and my endeavors bore no fruit.

When I went to sit at the counter of an izakaya 5 looking small while I drank, for some reason a drunk uncle treated me to food. Firstly, I would be treated by someone without a doubt.

Am I really that similar to a zashiki warashi?

I, the ordinary youkai……Or not, I, the ordinary female college student, feel that I should talk about how one day, I was suddenly embroiled in a "tripping into another world" event.
