That night, I had a dream.

It were the memories when I partic.i.p.ated in the Hunting Friend a.s.sociation farm camp, it’s the day we made a boar nabe. The boar that day was really delicious. (TL : 猟友会 : Ryotomokai : Hunting friend a.s.sociation)

Enoki and Shiitake mushroom, napa cabbage and carrots, greater burdock and taro all combined in the white miso. The bad smell I kept hearing from the rumors wasn’t felt at all.

Although it was considerably thick, the meat was softer than a pork, I also didn’t feel any fat in it at all, I was able to eat it as much as I can.

This season was...December. In the middle of winter break.

The kind of feeling of when you were cold you instantly warmed up to the core was something you have to feel it directly.

Before the meal, I had to handle wild boars.

Because I only had experience in handling chicken and ducks, I was nervous and excited at the same time.

It was very dull, but I did it because I would be able to eat the meat after I am done.

Unfortunately, the meat had to be left for a few days so it can age. So, the one I ate was the meat that the uncles from the Hunting Friend a.s.sociation prepared beforehand.

Still, It was delicious enough to die.

The overnight camp was three days long. On the evening of the second day, Father and Rena visited me at the camp.

When Rena saw me handling wild boars, she almost got anemia. But still, she managed to eat the nabe as much as me. I didn’t know if she was st.u.r.dy or weak. I couldn’t understand her.

Because I had a training camp, I had to absent from the shop for three days. I was doubtful  about this at first, but it were very fun and meaningful three days.

When I boasted that I would handle deer tomorrow, Rena became surprised more and more that her round eyes became rounder.

(Can deer be eaten? Isn’t it pitiful?)

She said so while inflating her cheek.

That’s why I said It’s unfair.

(You, have you ever seen a pig or a wild boar at all? If I have to say it, I think both of them are cuter than deer.)

Although I wanted to say that j.a.panese had more carnivorous culture than foreign countries, I would stop because she looked pitiful.

Ah...anyway, the boar nabe was really delicious.

Because it had a very strong flavour, I wanted to try a cooking method that could bring out more of the meat’s flavour.

After you took the soup with the wild boar’s bone marrow, wasn’t it the best?

“I told you to stay here, I have no intention on feeding someone lazy! Oi!”

Oh….Somehow my shoulder was roughly shaken.

Aside that, I think I like meat with strong smell.

The sheep that I had eaten several times also had quite a taste I like. I loved the smell of meat and fat. In my previous life I must be a carnivore.

Ramen too, Pork Shoyu was my most favourite one. Of course, greasy only ramens were not good. After Akatsuki took over the store, I secretly planned to take off the pork ramen from the menu and let it become a limited meal.

Yes, that was the smell.

Anyway, It’s really a nice smell.

Even though I just ate boar nabe, I am hungry again.

Yesterday’s dinner was terrible.

The dinner was like a terrible stepping rhyme.

Anyway, because I am hungry.

Soft texture of the meat, comfortably stimulated my teeth and tongue.

The sunlight of early morning from the window.

The feeling of a stiff fur.

The wall of wood, and the ceiling where the beam exposed.

Yeah, I spent the first night in another world.

This was not my room. People of Morihen, Ai Fa’s house.

Right now, the one who was standing like a niodachi in front of me…..was that Ai Fa.

With her left palm holding her nape, beautiful face dyed bright red, pointing a knife to me. The benefactor of my life, Ai Fa herself.

“Wa...Wait a minute! Even if you eat me, I am not delicious….I think!”

I awoke quickly and moved backwards to the wall while lying down.

The blade of steel, was shining from the sunlight.

Ai Fa’s right arm that was holding it was trembling with a purupuru.

“Why! Why are you doing something dangerous like this in the morning….”

After I screamed, the top of my head hurt.

Hmm? As I thought about it, it felt like I was beaten by someone inside my dream.

“Ah….Are you the one that hit me? You are terrible. What kind of person hit someone’s head when they are sleeping?”

“.....Try to hear it from your chest.”

Ai Fa’s face dyed redder with anger.

Yesterday was the same. Although she acted cool, she had a really short temper, hadn’t she.

But, thinking about it, she was not someone that was angry without any reason.

Don’t tell me….Did I make a blunder?

“Sorry. Did I do something wrong? I don’t have any memory of it since I was half asleep. If I done something rude to you, I apologize.”

“.......tried.”

“Hmm?”

“I! You tried to eat me!”                                     (TL: LOL. It finally happens xD)

Ai Fa screamed with her loudest voice since I came here and kept holding the knife with her two hands.

From her healthy and smooth nape a clear bitemark was engraved.

I hit my hand  “O..”

“I remembered. I was eating something in my dream. Because you have a very delicious smell, did I bit you by mistake?”

“......Kill.”

“Uwaaa Wait Wait! I was bad! Really sorry! I apologize from the bottom of my heart! Please just let my life go…”

“Noisy!”

Thus, the start of the 2nd of my life in a different world began with a noisy start.

While at it, I would like to add the fact that I fortunately didn’t awake to cannibalism.
