A few minutes later, she was getting bored of waiting, if the guy just took a pee in the bathroom or drink the coffee that was being offered by the woman...he should have been finished by now, then why he was not coming out of the house yet?
Strange!
Hmm, she'd better look for him inside the house and find out what took him so long to get back to his car and leave the area?
She's starting to feel something is not right here...
She immediately zoomed inside the house and saw no one in the living room, she went to the kitchen and other areas of the house to look for the driver and the woman and the guy in the veranda, she can't find them!
Where the h.e.l.l they disappeared into?
She went to the second floor of the house and inspected the three bedrooms there, still nothing!
Not a single soul can be found in the bedroom!
What the h.e.l.l? Why they all disappeared?
Jessy went back downstairs and look closely at the floor, the ceiling and the walls of the house. There must be a secret place somewhere in this house, she believes that they are still inside because she never sees them leave the house.
Maybe the house has a bas.e.m.e.nt? or a hidden place?
And where is the driver?
What that man and woman had done to the driver?
This scene belongs to a suspense movie that she was used to watching online, but this time she is one of the characters, dang! she got to find the driver fast!
Then out of the corner of her eyes, she saw the cabinet nearby that was firmly pressed on the wall. It contains all sorts of knickknacks that at first glance has no value at all, but they might hold some sentimental value to the owner.
She moves like a feather and went to the cabinet, if those people are still inside the house she doesn't want to alert them.
Then she remembered the bas.e.m.e.nt where Leo killed his lover and his tormentor, well...she could be wrong but it's worth a try...she went through the cabinet like a ghost then pa.s.sing through the wall and to her surprise she saw a staircase leading down, she hovered down and landed in a narrow pa.s.sageway, it leads to a closed door, she pa.s.sed through the closed door and inside... she saw the three people that she was looking for and there's another person!
The driver has been seated in a chair, unmoving, probably unconscious, both hands were tied behind the back of the chair, his head was covered with a black garment.
In front of him was a skinny looking woman with hollow-cheeked, lying on the bed sporting a vacant look on her face.
Then beside her was the drunk woman who was crying hysterically. "Stop, crying, daughter!"
"But...Mom you don't have to do this! We want you to live as long as you can," the woman insisted between heartbreaking sobs.
"Enough daughter, I can no longer continue living like this! drinking farm animals blood, I hated my situation and my condition! I hate being imprisoned here inside this bas.e.m.e.nt, but if I can not have freedom, I'd rather die than continue to suffer like this. All I want is the last chance to taste human blood again before I will perish from this world. Are you sure that guy over there was vaccinated with the anti-vampire vaccine?"
The daughter nods her head. "Yes he is, but don't kill him, Mother, he is a good man, he sends me home, his intention to send me home was pure."
"Don't worry, daughter. I won't drink all his blood, just enough to quench my thirst, besides, I will die after drinking a few ounces of his blood..." the emanc.i.p.ated woman explained.
The gaunt-looking woman looked at her husband who is standing in the corner, silently.
"Husband, come here! Why are you staring at me like I'm a ghost or something? Do I look so ugly right now that you can't bear to hug me for the last time?" her tears welled up. She used to be a beautiful vampire long ago...full of vigor, full of energy and full of life...then she met her husband and they fall madly in love with each other...then they live together and she bore a child for him. That was the best years and the most memorable years of her life before the anti-vampire vaccine was created. Before there's plenty of people to get blood from...she will just visit those victims during the time they were sleeping, then drunk some of their blood just enough for her to live another day and then left the victims' house without killing anyone.
Those were the golden days of the vampires...now they are being haunted and destiny to be wiped out from the face of the earth. Tonight, she's willing to end her life and end the suffering of her loved ones, once and for all.
The daughter left her mother's side so that her father can have a private moment with her mother.
The wife and the husband embraced each other tightly, they were so gripped with emotion that they were both dissolved in tears.
"Wife, I don't want you to go! Can you please change your mind? I don't mind raising livestock all my life so that I can continue feeding you blood..." tears were swimming in his eyes, his voice was laced with pain and agony.
"Husband, if I'm gone. Live your life the way you want it to be. My time here on earth is about to end. Just let me end my life the way I want it to be..." the gaunt-looking woman took one last breath and was about to stand up to approach the blindfolded guy sitting unconscious on the chair.
"But Mom... just give me enough time I can find the Crossbred for you, she can help you turn into human..."
The mother looked at her daughter sadly. "The Crossbred is just a myth until now she never appeared...forget about the girl in the prophecy, she's not real!"
The woman looked at her husband. "Help me now, hubby, I want to drink my last blood for tonight and rest in peace forever, please don't cry for me. After I pa.s.sed away, you two can finally live your life smoothly and no longer be burdened by me. It's the least I can do for both of you," she said, fresh tears emerged in her eyes.
