Jessy and her mother were inside the canteen eating lunch together.
"What's up, Mom? How's work?" Jessy asked.
Sarah smiled. "Work, as usual, nothing new," she responded.
"Aren't you getting tired and bored working all the time in your office?" she asked.
Sarah shook her head. "Not really. When I'm not in my office, I do my rounds around the Facility. Besides the best thing about my job are the plants and the flowers, they are entertaining and refreshing to look at," she answered.
"Okay. Since, when did you last seen the outside of the Facility?" she asked again.
Sarah's forehead creased. "Hmm, I don't remember the exact date, daughter. It's been a long time already..."
"How about if we have girls out together? Just you and me? We will go window shopping in the mall or go to many beautiful places in the city? Let's do all the things that you had missed doing when you were still not confined in this place," Jessy suggested.
Sarah looked at her daughter. "You're offer is tempting, my daughter. I miss going outside! But I'm not sure if your father will allow me to go out," she said doubting.
Jessy grinned. "I will ask father later, Mom. I'm sure he will allow you to go out with me. He doesn't have to worry about anything because I will keep you safe," she said feeling excited to bond with her mother outside the Facility. "It will be fun for sure!" she added.
Sarah smiled broadly feeling excited as well. "Good luck, daughter! Let see... if you can persuade your father to allow me to go out with you outside," she challenged her daughter.
Jessy grinned from ear to ear, she desperately wants to bring her mother outside the Facility for even one day, so that her mother can see the outside world again. "It's a date between you and me, Mom! We will go to church, visit the mall, visit the market and any public places you want to see again. If you want... we can visit a pub house or a dis...o...b..r," she added mischievously.
Sarah shook her head. "I don't like bars and disco places. But I'm okay with fast foods and restaurants, malls and other places..."
"Don't worry, Mom, we will visit all the places that you missed and love to visit again!" she said.
Sarah's face was gleaming with excitement. "I'm looking forward to it, daughter!"
Fifteen minutes later, the mother and daughter duo finished their meals and exited the canteen. Sarah went back to her office while Jessy sauntered towards the clinic.

Six hours later.
Nighttime.
After finishing the blood transfusion, Jessy left the clinic and went to the human's living quarters.
She inserted the key to the padlock and pushed open the door after knocking three times signaling that she's going to enter the room.
"h.e.l.lo guys!" she conveyed her greetings to everyone in the room.
"h.e.l.lo, Ma'am Jessy!" the men greeted her with excitement.
"I'm back, 'coz it's Teddy's turn to go home today. Please say your goodbyes to each other now," she said.
"Ma'am, can I ask you a question? How is Leo?" one of the men asked.
Jessy was silent for a moment. "He's doing fine in his house," she lied. She can't tell them the truth because she doesn't want them to feel sad, they were not related to Leo, there is no need to inform them about Leo's tragic end.
The men gathered around Teddy and they formed a group hug.
"Take care bro!" Samuel said.
"See you again one of these days, dude!" said Ben.
"Bye guys!" Teddy said, grinning from ear to ear, his eyes were sparkling with excitement.
"Bye, everyone!" Jessy waved her hand at the two remaining occupants of the room.
"Bye Ma'am Jess! Bye Ted!" Samuel and Ben said in unison.
Jessy and Teddy departed from the room after putting back the padlocked in place.
"Ma'am Jess, wouldn't you mind if I will ask you a question?" he said.
Jessy glanced at him. "Okay, shoot! What is it?" she replied just to humor him.
Teddy looked around him, "Why this place is so quiet? Why there is no one around walking in the hallway?" he asked curiously. "Where are the v-vampires?" he added.
Jessy grinned. "They were holed up in their cell during day time and wake up during night time to feed on blood. The vampires are free to roam this place during night and day time because the sun isn't shining here. The majority of vampires doesn't want to venture outside their cell. They like to keep to themselves especially that they know that human beings are living among them, so they avoid the temptation to pounce on humans because the King and Queen of vampires will get very angry if the humans are hurt by anyone," Jessy joked.
"OMG! That is why you padlocked us inside our rooms?" he asked.
Jessy nodded her head. "Yeah. To the vampires'... human blood is a delicacy, that is why to protect you guys we have to keep you padlocked all the time, the vampires here voluntarily keep to themselves to avoid feeding on you guys," she explained further, smirking.
Teddy felt the hair on his spine stood up. "Oh G.o.d! this place is scary! Get me out of here!" he demanded. He looked behind him and saw endless hallways and corridors. He imagined with dread that vampires were lurking in their cell waiting for human blood. It would be super scary if he will found himself lost in the corridors and accidentally opened a random room filled with bloodsuckers vampires flashing their pointed fangs at him and lurched at him simultaneously! He winced involuntarily affected by his overactive imagination.
"G.o.d, I'm gonna die!" he said aloud.
Jessy raised a brow. "What is it, Teddy?"
"Nothing, I'm just imagining horrific things in my mind about vampires," he said.
Jessy chortled in amus.e.m.e.nt. "Shh...calm down. Nothing bad will happen to you while you are under my care," she said trying to pacify his fears.
"Thank you, Ma'am Jessy!" Teddy smiled a little, feeling a bit comforted that the person standing beside him was human just like him.
They finally arrived in the study room.
Jessy pushed the door open and they step inside.
No one is inside. The queen has not arrived yet.
"Have a seat, Teddy, let's wait for the presence of the Queen of all vampires, she would like to say a few words to you before you go home," Jessy said. She picked up one magazine from the center table and handed it to him. "While waiting, read this magazine for a while so that you won't get bored..." she suggested.
Teddy accepted the magazine and began reading an interesting topic about s.p.a.ce exploration on page five.
While he was engrossed in his reading, Jessy's right hand moved and freeze him on the spot.
The door of the study room opened and Queen Margaret come inside. "Is this—Teddy?" she asked.
"Yes, Mother. I already freeze him. You can begin erasing his memory anytime you want..." Jessy said.
"Okay, that's good. I will start now!" Queen Margaret went to Teddy's side and place her hands on his head... then she began the process of erasing some part of his memory relating to the abduction.
"I will go to my room for a while, Mother, I will come back later," she said.
"Okay, go ahead," Queen Margaret replied.
