She planted a kiss on Adam's cheeks and get up from the bed, she went to the bathroom to do her thing.
She exited the bathroom a few minutes later, she changed into casual clothes and quietly exited the room to go to the canteen. It's breakfast in bed for Adam, she will take out foods from the canteen and eat breakfast in her room with him.
She met her mother in the canteen. "Mother, I'm sorry, I can't join breakfast with you this morning because Adam is in my room since last night. I want to take out foods from the canteen so that we can eat in my bedroom together," she explained in a low voice.
Sarah nods her head amazed by her daughter's glowing face. "Go ahead child, I'm about to finish breakfast anyways, see you later during lunch," she said.
"Thanks, Mom! You're the best!" Jessy smiled and sauntered towards the food display cabinet.
She chose fried rice mixed with seafood and vegetables, grilled steak, sunny side up eggs, bacon strips and b.u.t.termilk pancake, with hot coffee. Satisfied with her take out food, she goes back towards the Facility. She entered her room and saw Adam opening his eyes the moment she put the foods in the tray. "Breakfast in bed! My treat!" she said cheerfully.
Adam smiled, he rose to his feet and entered the bathroom.
A minute later after clearing the bed, they put the food tray in the bed and began eating their meals.
While she was munching on the pancake, she looked adoringly at Adam's face, simple moments like this just sharing meals with him made her heart bursting with happiness. Ordinary moments can become special moments especially if Adam was sharing the moments with her.
Adam glanced at her. "Something wrong with my face, Jess?" he asked.
Jessy shook her head. "Nothing. I just love it if when we eat together like this, it made me super happy!" she responded.
Adam smiled. "I love our special moments too," he stated. "Here, eat more, so that you will have strength later for the blood transfusion," he scooped more fried rice and put it on her plate along with some delicious strips of bacon.
Jessy devoured everything he put on her plate.
Thirty minutes later, they were sipping their hot coffee enjoying each other's company.
"We haven't visited the mansion for a while, do you think it's about time we will drop a quick visit to the mansion? I'm just wondering how is Nana Aida and Grandpa Waldo doing right now?" Jessy said.
"No problem, we can teleport to the mansion today and see how they are doing? You want to do it now or tomorrow?" asked Adam.
She smiled. "Sounds a good idea, let's do it tomorrow!" she said excitedly.
"Okay, it's a date then! I will come here tomorrow any time of the day to fetch you," he said.
"Nice! I miss Nana Aida already and I'm curious how are my roses are faring under Grandpa Waldo's care," she said.
They finished sipping their coffee while discussing everything that comes into their mind.
After breakfast, it's now time for Adam to say goodbye.
"See you tomorrow, Jess," he planted a kiss on her cheek. He was about to teleport back to his place when he remembered the jewelry box he bought with him last night, it contains the golden necklace, bracelet, and anklet Jessy requested to be made for her. He went to her closet cabinet, took out the jewelry box and placed it on her palm. "Here's the jewelry you requested, I forgot to give it to you last night," he said.
Jessy opened the box. Glittering pieces of jewelry can be seen inside the box, she smiled. "Thank you! They're beautiful!" she gushes.
"Don't thank me, Jess. Honestly, your smile is more beautiful than these pieces of jewelry," he uttered with a smiling face.
Jessy grinned from ear to ear. "Thanks for the flattery, Adam! Coming for you, it's worth a million stars in heaven!" she giggled.
"It's not flattery, I meant it!" he said. Adam hugged her tightly. "I love you, Jess!"
"I love you too!" she puckered for a kiss, he obliged and planted a wet kiss on her lips.
Jessy giggled feeling giddy with happiness. "Aw, so sweet! You go now, or else I won't let you go home," she said warning him playfully.
"Okay, bye for now! See you tomorrow!" Adam said.
"Take care and have a nice day!" Jessy replied waving her hand at him.
Adam smiled and vanished instantly from the room.
...
Jessy went inside the bathroom and brushed her teeth, then she took a bath and afterward she's getting ready to go to the clinic to start blood transfusion.
On her way to the clinic, she spotted the queen coming out from her room going to the study room.
The queen saw her too.
She walked towards the queen and greeted her. "Good morning, Mother!"
"Good morning too, daughter. So, how about Leo? Did you send him to the police station?" Queen Margaret asked.
"I brought him to his home first because I just can't dump him to the police station and accused him that he is a murderer without valid evidence. The police would demand a piece of evidence for his crime and I haven't concocted a good plan yet. Unfortunately when I went back to his home the next day, he was already dead, shot by a gun on his head, the culprits are strangers who think that Leo's place was a motel after being deserted for a few months. So yeah, Leo already pa.s.sed away killed by another murderer," she explained.
The queen sighed. "What a tragic fate...in the end destiny served its brand of justice in the form of death. Well...what can I say? Anyways, we will schedule the next guy to go home next week," she said.
"Okay, Mother," Jessy responded.
"Where are you going?" the queen asked.
"I'm going now to the clinic for blood transfusion," Jessy answered.
"Okay, you can go now..." the queen said.
Jessy smiled at the queen and proceed towards the clinic. She arrived just in time when the doctor was already done conducting check-up preparing the recipient for the blood transfusion.
"Good morning, Doc! I'm here now, let's start!" she said energetically.
"Good morning, Jess! Just relax for a few seconds, we will start in a moment," the doctor replied with a pleasant smile on his face.
"Okay," Jessy nods her head. She closed her eyes, her mind wandering to the treehouse.
