After eating dinner with her mother, Jessy still got one hour left of her break time. She went to her room, made her self invisible and from there she teleported into the Rabbi's Manor.
A moment later, she was hovering above the manor, sweeping the entire land with her watchful eyes, nothing was out of the ordinary, everything was peaceful around the house and it's surrounding area.
Time to go down and finished what she had started.
She hovered lower and entered the house.
She landed in the living room, it's surprisingly dark, where is Leo?
She went to the door and turn the switch on. The dark living room comes to life, to her utter surprise she saw someone lying face down on the floor...she was shocked to see a pool of blood around the motionless body. She went closer to investigate who was lying on the floor? her heart was already pounding on her rib cage, and to her shock, it's no other than Leo!
OMG!
She went to his side and placed her fingers near his nose, he was no longer breathing, she touched his arm, his body was already cold. This means he was already dead for a few hours, there is nothing she can do to save him.
A single tear fell from her eye. She felt sad for Leo. She came too late to prevent this from happening!
What happened to him?
Then she saw the wound on his head near his temple where the blood was oozing...looks like a gunshot wound!
She noticed a black object on the floor near the sofa, it's a gun!
D-did Leo committed suicide?
No, it can't be!
Or somebody entered the house and murdered him? It's possible, then she remembered the two boys last night. Are they responsible for this murder? Or somebody else?
She has to conduct a little bit of investigating on her own.
She exited the house, rose in the air and hovered above the manor. She zoomed outside the property and floated in the neighboring areas to find the boys.
She will try to visit the town's public places such as plaza, club, dis...o...b..r, and other areas where most of the young people most likely to stay.
After one hour if she can't find them, she will go back to the Facility for the blood transfusion then at midnight she will come back to the manor to decide what to do with Leo's dead body since he has no other relative in the area.
She felt truly devastated by Leo's sudden death.
Her theory is that the boys come back to the manor and fired a shot at Leo's head, a fatal shot that kills him on the spot.
She will know the truth if she can find the two boys if they were the ones responsible for this horrible deed!
She hovered above the dis...o...b..r, restaurant, public plaza, and other public places but she can't locate them, where are they hiding?
Then out of the corner of her eyes, she spotted two girls, they looked familiar to her... she had seen them first in the manor, the girls were exiting a store, holding a grocery bag in their hands. They look like they were in a hurry, they boarded the car that was parked outside the store.
The vehicle was now moving forward into the highway.
Jessy followed the car.
Thirty minutes later the car was exiting the town's border. Then it proceeds traveling down to a narrow road ending in a house situated near the lake. The car parked near the entrance of the house.
The pa.s.sengers of the car exited the vehicle and went inside the house.
Jessy followed them inside.
There she recognized the two boys lounging on the sofa. They are the ones who brutally injured Leo last night. Their faces were fl.u.s.tered, almost panicky. The girls put down the items they bought from the store into the center table which consist of alcoholic beverages, cigarette packs, and some junk foods.
"D-does the police already notified of the incident?" one of the boys asked the girls.
One of the girls answered, "No. I think the police haven't heard of what happened yet..."
"Guys, I told you not to go back there! Why are you so stubborn! Now you killed that man! You will be put in jail anytime soon after the police find out what you have done to that guy!" the girl in the white blouse said, she looks super annoyed.
"Calm down. Le's not panic. The house has no CCTV cameras and the closest neighbor was a half kilometer away. The gun that I stole from my father is a silencer type gun. No one heard of the gunshot. Since no one can point the evidence against us then we are safe. We only got one problem though, we left the gun in that house, due to panic..." the guy wearing a hoodie said.
"You dumb a.s.s, why did you leave the gun in there? It's your father's gun! The police officers will arrest your father since it's his gun that killed that guy!" the other boy said.
The guy in the hoodie nods his head accepting the painful truth that he screws up big time. "We will go back there, get the gun and bury the dead body somewhere so that no one will find out what we have done to that guy," he suggested to his companion.
"h.e.l.l! Why did you even go back to that house and bring your father's gun, that guy didn't do anything bad to you!" the girl in white blouse shouted, fuming.
The guy in a hoodie sighed.
"I just want to know if that guy is a witch because we saw a ghost in the cemetery, something mysterious happens last night so we thought he was practicing some kind of dark magic. So when he was about to lunge at me I pull the trigger in panic and shoot him in the head accidentally!" the boy in hoodie explained.
"Stupid! If you did not go back there, this won't ever happen!" the girl continues to reprimand the boys.
"Yeah, it's all your fault!" the other girl chimed in.
The boys were getting irritated with the girls' constant scolding.
"You girls go back to the car now and wait for us outside! We will drop you in your homes, then we will go back to the manor to finish what we had started. And remember, the moment you went out of that door, you know nothing of the killing, you understand?" the guy in hoodie said.
The girls nodded their heads and exited the house.
The guys began drinking alcohol and smoked their cigarettes while discussing what to do with the dead body.
Thirty minutes later.
The guy in the hoodie went to the kitchen and took a knife then wrapped it in a newspaper and put it in his backpack.
"Let's go!" he said to the other guy.
The boys went out of the house and boarded the car. Jessy tailed the car back to town.
A few minutes later.
The car stopped near the town's plaza. The girls left the car. Then the vehicle was moving back into the highway heading to Rabbi's Manor.
