Sarah noticed that her daughter was in a preoccupied state.
"Aren't you going back to the clinic, child? What are you thinking with that pretty head of yours?" Sarah asked her daughter.
Jessy blinked her eyes twice. "Ah, yes, um...I'm just thinking why the world situation is getting worse nowadays?" she asked out of the blue.
Sarah sighed.
"Because...sometimes the people weren't doing their part...human beings are not exactly the best and perfect race that lives on earth. All we have done is destroy mother earth left and right because we only think of ourselves. The human race is greedy, they only want to take...take...and take everything but they seldom give back. But I'm not saying that all humans are bad, just that majority doesn't care at all... and my daughter...don't try to understand and solve the world issues because it's too complex...it will only make you frustrated, pressured, bothered and feel empty inside. Just accept the things that you can not change and changed the things that you can change, it's much easier to deal with life's complexity that way than torturing yourself to solve the world issues, only death of the whole humanity can put an end to everything..."
Jessy looked at her mother in bewilderment. "Huh?"
Sarah laughed a little. "As you can see my child, to heal the illness and cancer that our society is suffering and to completely heal mother earth we called home, we need a complete reset. Let's not even start with worsening pollution, global warming, and many other issues affecting our society. In short, all that is needed to do is to wipe the whole human race from the face of the earth so that the new life order can begin..."
Jessy's browsed knitted together. "W-would you accept that, Mom? Like ending the whole human race just to cleanse the world and the earth that we are currently abusing right now?"
"Hmm...not really...but just in case that is needed and about to happen, then we all die together. When everyone is dead no one will suffer anymore, no pain, no miseries, no more hunger, no more rich and poor, and everything ceased to exist. Since human beings created the majority of the problem of the world, if humans no longer exist, all problems will end! Right—?" Sarah explained.
Jessy smiled. "You got a valid point, Mom!"
"Hey, but that doesn't give you the license to kill anyone without justified reason—got it?" Sarah sternly said to her daughter.
Jessy smiled and hugged her mother. "Of course, Mom. I will only kill for the right reason! I won't end humanity just like Thanos did," she replied grinning. She needs to make sure that her mother will stop worrying about her. She noticed that her mother finds it hard to accept that her innocent daughter was already an executioner.
"That's comforting to know my child! Always remember that there is always a limit to everything...and Great Power comes with Great Responsibility..."
"Aye, Mom. I'm leaving now. See yeah later..." Jessy said and exited the office.

That night.
After her two hours break.
Jessy teleported into the city to check the condition of the place that Elza will go home to.
Jessy went to the condominium address that Elza had written on the index card in her invisible form. She had an easy time finding the unit number which was situated on the 5th floor.
Pa.s.sing through the wall she was able to enter the condo unit.
Although the light of the living room was on, she can't detect any soul inside after checking the two rooms. There's no one in the bathroom either. She checked the fridge, she saw some foods in there, which means someone is living in this unit, at the moment they are probably still outside.
Jessy went back to the living room and checked the photos in the cabinet, she found Elza's pic with a man in a picture frame wearing their swimwear, the photo was taken at the beach. Another photo of them sitting together on the bench in the middle of the park.
She still has one hour to wait for the occupants of the house so that she will have something to tell to Elza, the girl will be pleased to hear some good news from back home.
She has to leave after one hour to buy the ice cream and the nachos that she promised for her mother yesterday.
Since she has nothing to do while waiting, she might as well watch some news in the fifty inches flat-screen television to pa.s.s her time. She sat down on the comfy sofa and turn on the TV.
A piece of flash news was currently airing, the news anchor was narrating about the two dead bodies of a man and a woman being washed out in the seash.o.r.e one hundred kilometers away from the city. It was reported as drowning because no physical violence was seen in the bodies of the deceased. Then photos of the deceased were shown on the TV screen. Jessy recognized them as the ones she brought in the sea last night.
Then a news interview was aired on TV about the mysterious circ.u.mstances the shopping mall-goers and the tenant of the collapsed hotel found themselves during the earthquake, they were confused about the big mystery surrounding their unexplained situation during the earthquake when they found themselves already in the ground, but the last time they remembered they were still in the area of the danger zone and surprisingly they don't have any recollection on how they arrived in the ground floor?
Interesting!
She was engrossed in watching the TV interviews that she almost did not notice that the doork.n.o.b was being turned, she immediately turns off the TV, and the door opened.
A guy holding a baby in his arms and a woman come inside, they were laughing.
Jessy recognized the guy as the one in the photo taken with Elza, her husband-to-be, but how about this woman and the baby? Who are they?
Don't tell me, this is another Lilian part 2? Are they a couple? Jessy said to herself.
The guy gave the baby to the woman, the woman went inside on one of the room and placed the baby in the crib, while the guy went inside the other room.
Hmm, they were living in a separate room? They're probably not in a relationship...but a man and a woman living under the same roof with a baby, they sure look like a couple!
This won't sit well with Elza...
Was the woman—the new live-in partner?
How to find out if they were indeed a couple? They have not kissed on the lips yet, nor hugged each other intimately.
She just has to wait a little bit, it would have been much better if she can ask them directly if they were a couple instead of just keep guessing for eternity.
But...she can no longer wait...her allotted one hour was already up while glancing at the time on the clock hanging on the wall above the TV, she needs to leave the residence immediately and buy the ice cream and nachos for her mom and return to the clinic to resume the blood transfusion.
