As Jodye's sharp whistle echoed throughout the entire outer district, the warriors locked in the battle below all looked up to see where the commotion came from. Of course, since they were all in life or death struggles, they didn't dare to look away from their opponent for long.

"You fool! Stay back, do not interfere," screamed one of the Valkyries, a strong-looking woman with a scar on her cheek. She didn't know if this new arrival was an enemy.

"Guard your back! Rebel enemy sighted!"

"Fourth Level Ghouls approaching from the flank!"

"Valkyries, to me!" shouted another woman wearing acolyte robes and surrounded by Scholar Sage Realm pract.i.tioners who mumbled incantation chants. Seven women in armor all fell back to this woman's location, and once the eighth one entered her protective circle, the woman in acolyte robes spread her arms as vast magical force swarmed around the group like a stationary hurricane. Five triple-layered arcane circles appeared 10 meters in front of this group.

"Fifth Circle Spell: Symphonic Flame Burst!"

The magic circles released a bright blue and white light before dazzling blue flames spiraled into a fire tornado. Bursts of flames started to launch from the tornado landing on the nearby fiends and enemy warriors. The explosions formed a strange melody of destruction.

"Melody of Destruction…" Watching this from a distance, Jodye's eyes danced and he suddenly seemed inspired.

"Who the h.e.l.l is that?" Bean Bastian spoke in a deep and menacing voice. Bean had a height right under two meters, and dusty looking black hair. He focused his eyes and immediately found the young negus who just whistled. He felt enraged that an enemy dared to expose his location so arrogantly. "Was that some form of signal? What camp does this brat belong too?"

The brat in the distance looked young no matter how one looked at him. He was likely a teenager but at most in his early 20s.

"It matters little. If he were an ally he would never commit such an action. If he were an enemy our enemies would not look as confused as we feel," Raul Granger's voice remained calm and level. He stood a head shorter than Bean and his low-cut wavy hair and goatee really complimented his dark complexion. "Dispose of him before he has a chance to make any waves. I will speed things along."

As Raul finished speaking, he placed a hand on the fiend controller's shoulder. That young voodoo priest immediate started screaming inhumanely as his outstretched arms burst into a blood mist that the voodoo fiend portal absorbed. The Fiend Army portal he opened radiated a vicious purple light as the Voodoo Priest's flesh and blood essence continued to be forcibly sucked into the vortex amidst his pitiful screams. Seeing this through his perception, Jodye frowned and immediately used [Pharaoh's Law]'s Soul Cleanse to push his divine qi to the fifth rank.

"Why would they sacrifice the controller so easily?" This wasn't the first time Jodye saw the fiend portal controller get sacrificed to prevent the portal from closing prematurely. According to Joovee Nile, this usually resulted in the arrival of a particularly powerful fiend who is forcibly promoted to maniac status. Jodye decided to make a rather risky move to avoid unforeseen variables. After all, there where a couple of fifth level ghouls in the mob below.

"What would happen if a maniac status fifth level Overlord Ghost Ghoul or Undead Lord Ghoul emerged from the portal? These creatures would have a minimum of 1,700 BP!" This wasn't something Jodye wanted to see, many of the dark valkyries below would surely be ma.s.sacred before the fiend fell.

[Name: Taylor Mercy]

[Age: 33 years, 8 months.]

[Status: 63% Health, 9:02 pm]

'Demonic Sage Path: Origin Science Sage Realm, Peak Junior Spirit rank, 95 BP.'

'Evil Sinner Path: True Sinner Realm, 6-Star Essence Formation rank, 98 BP.'

'Endurance: Skin penetrated at 70 BP.'

'Speed: Max Speed at 98 BP.'

"So weak? No wonder he needs two protectors. Trippy, calculate how much qi I would use in a second level lightning purgatory to kill that controller!" Jodye Trill commanded through the sent a mental message to Pharaoh's Law. Lightning Purgatory is the Vajra Scepter's main spell. The cost for this spell was naturally the lowest, as it mimicked Jodye's own divine spark - Thunderbolt Purgatory. Thanks to this, Jodye could even craft lightning purgatory into a draconic spell with the Vajra Scepter.

"At once, host," Trippy replied in his mind as the Vajra Scepter appeared in front of Jodye in a flash of lightning and floated peacefully. "At the most optimal expenditure, young host Joseph would use 15% of the stored divine source, 30% of current origin energy, 20% of astral power, and 40% of True Essence. Please note, although mystic wands are comparable to G.o.dly armaments, your current level is too low. Due to this, the maximum boost your spells will receive is 100% at level two. Moreover, the backlash will be moderate."

"Hmph," Jodye frowned at how expensive the Vajra Scepter was to use. He couldn't even kill a first rank True Sinner without heavily damaging his energy reserves and enduring a backlash. Still, Jodye released his aura and poured his thunderbolt origin qi into the mystic wand. He didn't hesitate to grab the Vajra Scepter with his divinity, making it shoot across the sky with rapid momentum until it was 10 meters from the three villains on top of the city wall.

"No! Quick, we must rush the walls!" screamed a Valkyrie with four wings branded on her armor. She was currently locked in combat with several third level Waki Ghouls and a first level Maniac Poltergeist Ghoul, but the suddenly brightening purple light from the voodoo fiend portal struck terror in her heart. This terror only grew more profound when she heard the controller's agonized screaming. The dual blades in her hands flashed furiously as she muttered an incantation. Her incantation runes swiftly formed three arcane circles in her crimson atmosphere.

"She can cast third circle draconic spells in less than two minutes, not bad. Worthy of a Great Scholar," Jodye Trill commented as a reptilian roar reached his ears from the distance. "However, I think I beat you to the punch, miss."

"Th… that's!" Taylor Mercy's eyes widened into shock when he saw the mystic wand fly over from the distance. Wasn't this the same mystic wand they were excavated from the Ancient Pharaoh's Tomb? However, his pain felt too intense to stutter properly, let alone speak his mind.

The draconic core shined in a green light before a single-layered arcane circle appeared surrounded by lightning qi. Jodye's energy depleted as he activated the spell. In front of Bean Bastian and Raul Granger's eyes, the spell circle produced a meter long line of green electricity. Before they could react aloud, they sensed the dreadful power within.

"ESCAPE!" after looking at each other in the eye, both men immediately abandoned the voodoo controller. That spell felt like more than what they could take on without preparation, and there was no more time for them to prepare for a lightning spell. Lightning spells were incredibly fast, neither of them dared to risk it. They jumped from the city wall 40 meters into the sky half a second before four powerful lightning bolts devastated the area they just escaped.

"First Circle Spell, Lightning Bolt Purgatory, 705 BP!"

*BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM*

"What was that?" a Voodoo Priest exclaimed. He and his cohorts all paled when they turned their heads to the blackened city walls. Jodye had to admit those walls were rather st.u.r.dy.

"Big Miss, that stranger just took out the voodoo fiend portal! The controller is toast. Status of the enemy commander unknown!" yelled an excited girl from the Dark Valkyrie guild.

"Where is he now?"

"Still over there!"

"But how…?"

*THUUUM*

As soon as he confirmed the crumbling Voodoo Fiend Portal, Jodye's Red-Scaled Fire Lizard landed directly in front of the building he stood atop as explosions rang through the area. The warriors fighting below were all stunned by the explosion of energy, and those foundation cla.s.s warriors closest to the walls were all blown away. They suffered from different degrees of internal injuries. Jodye jumped down and landed on the back of his slave beast. As the Red-Scaled Fire Lizard breathed in the fresh fire and calamity qi in the air, it suddenly felt great and released low growls of pleasure.

"You little punk, go die!" Jodye Trill looked up and saw Bean Bastian swinging his combat ax as he fell from more than 60 meters above, a tall red atmosphere surrounding the weapon. Using all the momentum he managed to gather, Bean Bastian decided to attack at full power with a silver rank mystic art. The savage fiend essence qi took the form of a giant machete as it cleaved down at Jodye with 1,620 BP.

"Go," commanded Jodye Trill imperiously, undaunted in spite of this dangerous turn of events. At worst, he may have to abandon his mount. However, that remained to be seen.

The Red-Scaled Fire Lizard growled and Jodye heard some trepidation from its tones. However, it's lifeblood boiled and its body heated up considerably as it prepared to defend it's master and itself. As he relayed his mental command, the [Cosmos Revolving Grimoire] made Jodye aware that such a heavy attack from the Red-Scaled Fire Lizard would send it into stasis for a week. Apparently, the ability it currently used - h.e.l.l Dragon's Cry, was more than what it's body could withstand. If it wasn't for the heavenly grimoire this attack would nearly kill the Red-Scaled Fire Lizard. It was a last-ditch move.

Jodye frowned with ruthlessness swimming in his eyes. This White Demon Temple True Sinner would be a bigger problem if he could coordinate with his Voodoo Priest partner. From what Jodye could tell Raul Granger was also the one in charge.

Since this sinner Bean Bastian had served himself up, why should he live? Jodye would just adjust his plans after the Red-Scaled Fire Lizard returned to the heavenly grimoire.

"I'll be sure to name you after this," Jodye Trill promised the Red-Scaled Fire Lizard, his expression cold as ice. Wasn't this savage attack overkill for a third rank priest like Jodye? Anyone else at his level would surely be destroyed along with the Red-Scaled Fire Lizard. Since this was the case, let this b.a.s.t.a.r.d be burned in the flames of calamity then.

"ROAR~~~!" The Red-Scaled Fire Lizard's form grew far more intimidating as its huge dewlap unfolded. Its battle momentum instantly doubled. A lone double-layered arcane circle made of flames formed in front of its wide-open maw and particles of dragon qi started to form a ball of light in front of the arcane circle. Throbbing veins bulged all over the Red-Scaled Fire Lizard's scaled body, and one could easily tell it had overdraft its strength to use this technique.

Innate Spell: h.e.l.l Dragon's Cry, 1,917 BP!

As the Red-Scaled Fire Lizards innate fire breath impacted the back of the spell circle, a beam of blue-scarlet firelight created a thunderous shock wave as it shot straight towards Raul Granger.

"BEAN HURRY DISENGAGE! DODGE NOW!" seeing that dreadful beam of heat energy, Raul Granger yelled with all of his might from the distance. Alas, it was too late now.

"What?!?" Bean Bastian still held a sneer on his face, before horror slowly crept its way in. He wanted to execute a defensive skill, but he was still in the middle of executing his mystic art. The beam of firelight collided with the giant machete in the sky and forcibly tore through it before crashing into Bean's terrified figure, "NOOOO~~~!"

*boom*

Back on the ground, the Red-Scaled Fire Lizard had already turned into violet particles of light that fell into the [Cosmos Revolving Grimoire]. Meanwhile, Jodye Trill moved at top speed as he invaded the crowd of fiends and ghouls fighting the Dark Valkyrie Guild. Every time he saw a Dark Valkyrie in a perilous position, that Dark Valkyrie would hear baleful screams as a streak of scarlet-green lightning tore apart her foe in clouds of blood and flesh. The pure speed plus the strong impact barely left anything of the enemy disciples and the fiends were even worse off, directly refined into pure essence by calamitous thunderbolt qi.

By the time Raul Granger landed 50 meters away from the charred remains of his partner, he had already lost the young magic priest that was responsible.

"Granger!" yelled the Dark Valkyrie Guild commander with four wings branded on her armor, her combat sword accurately pointed at his neck in spite of the several meter distance. Seven other women dashed out from behind her and surrounded Raul Granger with their weapons drawn.

"Ahaha…hahahahah….BWAHAHAHA," Raul Granger seemed to have lost his mind as he laughed like a maniac fiend. "Shayla Greer, Commander 'Big Miss'. How silly. How completely foolish. Do you really think this is enough to defeat an honored disciple of White Demon Castle?!"

"Temple, Castle, or white fish river," Shayla chided, "Today you die!"

"With just you?" Raul Granger smirked, voodoo qi bursting from his body like a fire. Seeing this, the Dark Valkyries all had dark expressions. This man's qi had become an atmosphere.
