Jodye whistled sharply, and Dessa immediately stopped training to return to his side. Together, the group returned to the Purple Sky Tower, where Jodye used the temporal dimension device after Joovee Nile showed him how to program the coordinates. Jodye still had two more times to use the original emperor ruby that Uncle Sigma left in the portal. After entering the new coordinates a portal instantly opened up to the Star Gazing Forest. The portal looked like a whirlpool full of stars in a royal blue sea.
Jodye marveled as he didn't realize he could program new coordinates into this device. If this was the case, couldn't he go anywhere in this world if he had that proper spatial coordinates?
'Not quite, son,' Lady Isis immediately burst Jodye's bubble. 'There must be a spatial node for your to transfer to that location. This device is not designed to use chaotic s.p.a.ce such as when you teleported from the Trilleck Villa. If it could do that, you wouldn't need so much energy to facilitate the jump. It would be charged by the chaotic qi of the chaotic s.p.a.ce.'
"b.u.mmer…" Jodye mumbled under his breath. However, this temporal dimension device was still a great treasure! Jodye decided not to reveal it so easily in the future.
"Dear niece and nephew, do not take too long. No one appreciates long goodbyes." Miran Moon was the first to pa.s.s through the portal, not even bothering to bid anyone farewell. Jodye Trill would certainly not be missing this aggravating woman.
'Hm? Is this so-called disciple about to betray my sworn-brother? You may not make it to Rodinia alive if that the case, brat…" Joovee Nile's face was hidden by his neofrost mask but he watched Aiken Moon's every move.
Aiken Moon stared at the portal in disbelief, his aunt's words from the other day echoing in his head.

"That so-called master of yours favors his apprentice far more than he favors you! Come back him with us my dear, senior Grey Willow will be very good to you! Being her in-name disciple is a great honor, and you would be an honorary disciple. Many of your cousins back home would kill for this opportunity. Is it really worth staying?"

Aiken Moon stared at the device and the portal that erupted from it feeling slightly melancholic. Could his aunt be right? However, once he considered the magical flame that was currently merging with his flesh and blood, he immediately woke up from this delusion. His master was very good to Mr. Trill, but so what? Wasn't he also very good to Aiken as well? After all, Jodye wasn't the one given a sky flame. Furthermore, Jodye Trill was a complete monster and a little madman. Aiken didn't feel like comparing himself to such an oddity anymore.
Jodye Trill stood calmly next to the portal, observing Aiken while he made his decision. Whatever Aiken Moon chose to do would be his own path. Jodye didn't mind having the boy walk with him down the path to glory, but he wouldn't force the issue. After all, this was a perilous path and Jodye had already died once. He didn't fear death, but what about Aiken? Without bravery, he would never be able to fight by Jodye's side. Dessa Chimes also observed from the side, smiling sweetly at Aiken. She actually was hopeful that her friend would return to his family sooner, as she knows that it is something he longed for more than anything else in this world.
Seeing Dessa's supportive smile, Aiken's mind grew sharper and more determined. How could he ever be worthy of her if he took the easy way out? There was no way he could support a woman as talented and pretty as Dessa Chimes with truth peak strength. His father didn't become the Lord of House Moon by cultivating peacefully in the House. He traveled all around the world adventuring and raising his strength, before meeting Aiken's mother and returning home to start a family. Only then did he partic.i.p.ate in the political battles of the house. If his father could do so, then why could he?
When Aiken Moon left the house he was a fooled who got conned into slavery by his own older brother. At this moment, he promised himself that he would return in a blaze of glory that completely burned away his former shame. This was Aiken's new resolve!
"Master Grey-Willow, it was my honor to be offered discipleship under your House." Aiken Moon half-bowed in Master Grey Willow's direction. Grey Willow smiled cheekily, but the boy's next words caused her smile to freeze, "However, I will have to respectfully decline. My master is Sigma Octanis, Eighteenth Star of the Heavenly Dog. In the future, I will also become a star. Now that my master has encountered trouble, how could I just skip off to wonderland with sister? This is something I can never do. My apologies…"
Shock!
Intrigue!
Admiration!
These were the reactions of Master Grey Willow, Jodye Trill, and Bilan Moon respectively. Even Joovee Nile suddenly possessed a better opinion of this brat disciple of his sworn-brother. 'Not bad, old dog. You got yourself a good disciple. He gave up returning to his own homeland to follow you to death. Incredible. I would never do such a thing, not for my psycho old master…'
Master Grey Willow frowned, but before she could speak she was preempted by Bilan Moon's sweet voice, "This won't do little Morph. You absolutely MUST return home with me. Father has told me that since I dare to venture up here and find you not to return home without you. You will turn 10-years-old soon, at that time you must enroll in an academy or sect!"
"Lani…" Aiken Moon now felt torn. His sister was correct. How could he send her away after all the effort she put forth to come and rescue him. Was it her fault he had already been rescued? He subconsciously looked to Jodye, hoping he would gain some inspiration from the person he respected most. Jodye Trill and Aiken Moon locked eyes and afterward, Jodye smiled handsomely. Seeing that warm smile Aiken suddenly felt like everything would be fine. He immediately relaxed.
"How about this…" Just when tensions were running high, Jodye Trill's young voice caught the crowds attention. He didn't miss that bit about going to an academy at the age of ten. He used telepathy to ask Joovee Nile about these so-called sects and academies. From that, Jodye learned that in Rodinia ten was the age of recruitment. Every year, all youths under ten that cultivated to the second stage of any path would have a chance to join an academy or sect. If you weren't ten you could only join the sect by performing well in the Sect's next recruitment compet.i.tion. These were usually held every ten years. As the crowd turned to Jodye he closed his eyes, crossed his arms, and continued, "Aiken is one of my men. I had every intention of accompanying him to Rodinia in the future. I suggest you give us two or three years to settle our matters here. Since I already have the coordinates, then at that time we can just meet you in Star-Gazing Forest."
"You can't seriously expect me to keep the young miss here for three more years? Are you daft?" Master Grey Willow was appalled. How self-centered of a request was this? Bilan Moon also frowned at the proposal.
Seeing this, Jodye sneered inwardly, 'Still underestimating me, huh old lady?'
"You wouldn't need to wait at all if you were willing to share the route with us. If that was the case, you would be able to go on about your Rodinian lives without worry," Jodye shrugged indifferently.
"You may not even live past tomorrow, let's not even discuss three years!" Grey Willow bellowed at she finally lost her temper. "Neofrost, educate your junior! He knows nothing but boasts about everything! Will the Profound Sea follow your arrangement twerp? If we do not leave soon, forget three years, we will be stranded here for four years! Do you think I am powerful enough to defend against all of the villains who will target me thanks to us helping you brats? Even little Miran almost lost her life. Will you take responsibility if one of us women is captured by the vile sinners of the Southern Ward? Can you even?"
Jodye Trill was quite shocked by her words. There was logic to what this old hag was screaming. He quickly asked his mother about the Profound Sea. What he learned was that there was a natural profound formation in the sea that was the border between Pangaea and Rodinia. This natural profound formation made the waters sharper than 10,000 swords attacking in harmony. No one under the Wizard rank was able to survive above that see.
The Wizard rank was the same rank as the Pharaoh Kings of Pangaea! Jodye was already certain his grandfather was at this rank but his mother confirmed it.
Meanwhile, Master Grey Willow released her cultivation base and pressure bore directly down on Jodye Trill who stood straight as a sword in spite of the grueling pressure he had to endure. Within the Ethereal Vault, Lady Isis frowned and was about to make a move when Joovee Nile nodded in approval as he waved his hand and dispersing the pressure completely. Grey Willow was stunned at this display, 'This brat Neofrost is actually so fierce? To dispel my pressure with spiritual qi alone…too impressive.'
Jodye Trill was similarly impressed. This was the first time he witnessed spiritual qi being used in the same way as battle qi, however, once his T'Zhane's memories kicked Jodye's eyes shone with light. He used his divine awareness to send a mental message to his master, 'Master mom! Is this a unique application of the so-called heaven and earth unity?'
'That seems to be the case, little Joe," replied Isis' melodic voice in Jodye's head.
'But that would mean that big bro Joovee has comprehended a dao element! How is that possible?'
'I am shocked you even know of such a thing…or perhaps not,' Lady Isis sighed, remembering that her son had inherited one of the most terrifying legacies of all time in the afterlife. 'Indeed, the son of Krime Nile has somehow comprehended a dao element. If I'm not mistaken it should be the Sinner's Dao of Betrayal. Be careful, as he may be grooming you to complete his dao.'
Jodye Trill frowned, and promised himself to ask his mother more about dao elements later. If Joovee Nile could comprehend one this early, then why couldn't Jodye? He didn't believe he was less talented than the Neofrost Master. He wasn't even shorter than him!
"Martial-Aunt Blu Leaf it is…it's okay…" Bilan Moon grabbed Master Grey Willow's sleeve and spoke in a soft voice. This voice easily diffused the ticking bomb that was Blu Leaf. Bilan walked over to Aiken Moon and threw her arms around him. Aiken didn't resist at all and dropped his head into her chest instinctively. Bilan Moon had a tear in the corner of her eye as she whispered to her little brother, "The Profound Sea pa.s.sage will close again in one month. It will not open again for four years. However, in four years there will be another recruitment compet.i.tion for the Extreme Celestial Sect. Even though you at that time will already be twelve, you can still join a sect upon returning. I will give you four years to grow strong enough to enter the top 50!"
Aiken Moon's eyes shone with fighting spirit and determination, "Mn! I will do it, big sis. Tell dad I will join the Extreme Celestial Sect in four years!"
"Mhm…" Bilan smiled and released her little brother. She could tell he was starting to become more mature. If two years in this cursed land helped groom him into more of a warrior than his six years in House Moon, she didn't mind letting him walk his own way. As long as he promised to come home. She would just fetch him in four years then. Bilan looked at Jodye Trill and discovered he was also looking at her. His gentle gaze gave her gooseb.u.mps, and she completely forgot she was a little upset with him. She walked over to him until they were close enough to collide and looked up into his crystal blue eyes. Her eyes said many things to Jodye, but her little lips only formed one sentence, "Will you look for me?"
"Mn," Jodye Trill smiled gently.
"Farewell, Jodye…" Bilan Moon gazed at Jodye's face a bit longer, as if she wished to engrave his appearance into her heart. She turned and started to walk toward the portal. "In four years I will be far more powerful. I hope you do not disappoint me."
After Bilan Moon vanished into the portal, Master Grey Willow harrumphed and walked through the portal with her nose pointed up. With one foot in the portal, she suddenly stopped and turned to Jodye Trill.
"I'm trusting you, brat. As his junior apprentice-brother, take care of young master Moon in place of his master," Grey Willow's tone was surprisingly gentle. However, Jodye had a major problem with her choice of words no matter how gentle they were.
"Do not look down on me, old master," Jodye Trill was not as polite as before, but he still wasn't rude as this was Bilan's martial-aunt. "We both know that the reason Uncle Sigma is my alchemy professor but not my master was not his own choice."
"Tch," Master Grey Willow sucked her teeth and snorted, before disappearing inside the portal. Her voice echoed in her wake, "We will see you in the Star Gazing Forest four years later, you arrogant brat!"
"Four years, huh…" Jodye felt a bit strange watching them all leave.
In four years, Jodye Trill would be ten years old. On the other hand, Bilan Moon should be turning 16-years-old at that time. In this world, that was the age of adulthood. How beautiful would she be at that time? That was something Jodye truly looked forward too. After all, he had been waiting his entire life to taste the flowers of this world. His father possessed so many wives, how unfair was this? Not the mention the loads of concubines his mother told him about recently. Jodye had no idea so much was going on in House Trilleck.
Thanks to Jodye's t.i.tanic Rage Law and Legacy Soul, he managed to cultivate a Chaotic Thunder G.o.d physique. He honestly could no longer be considered a regular human, or a mere sage body, he was more similar to a celestial t.i.tan body. At six years old, he appeared to be a young man entering adulthood. How would his body be at ten years old? Would his adolescence be beginning, or ending? Jodye had no precedent for his situation so he could only take it one day at a time.
"You ready, twerps?" Joovee Nile said immediately after Blu Leaf left through the portal. He turned to Jodye Trill impatiently saying, "Come on, kid, let's go back to Blackheart."
