Jodye Trill was temporarily distracted by the fact the Sly was no longer in 'stasis' status, but now he was experiencing a changed 'Nirvana' status. This had never happened in the past, and Jodye wasn't sure how to feel about it. Of course, he had a good idea of what was happening. "Cosmo, how long does the nirvana status last?"

Jodye instantly regretted asking. Could it be his own guardians wanted to lie to him as well? This must be a joke.

"Jodye, has little Morph really recovered his sage path cultivation after being sealed? He even received his lifeblood genesis, right?" asked Bilan Moon with big eyes from Jodye's back. "Ahh!!"

Eureka was currently running rapidly through the growing crowd. Jodye made Bilan put her Vicious Red Wolf away because Eureka was far quicker and she could even walk on the void. With a thought from Jodye, Eureka leaped 50 meters into the air and landed on an arcane circle made of blue serenity qi, before jumping again. Jodye laughed hard at Bilan's reaction. If she thought this was something, just picture how she would feel about the gravity-defying Guardian Sky Wolf that was currently experiencing nirvana.

"Lifeblood genesis?" Jodye Trill asked in curiosity. He hadn't heard of this term yet.

"It's the source of lifeblood powers, just like the force geneses store our qi, it is where our lifeblood powers are stored and acc.u.mulated in the origin lake," Bilan Moon had already explained to Jodye that once he reached the Earth Science Realm, his origin pool had already increased by ten times and become an origin lake.

"Ah! Well, he has indeed recovered. Uncle Sigma told me that his Left-Hand, Ca.s.san, feared that Aiken was currently fighting a group of fiends," Jodye Trill sent a stream of consciousness ahead to check the situation as he spoke to Bilan. "Fiend h.o.a.rd Art!" Bilan Moon exclaimed in a fl.u.s.tered panic. Bilan's small and sweet voice sounded behind Jodye's ear, giving him gooseb.u.mps. Jodye's face heated up in embarra.s.sment as he had never been into the loli-type before, but his adolescent hormones always reacted to this girl. There was no way to stop it beforehand, but it still never took long for him to recover as just now. Could this be the effect of p.u.b.erty?

Seeing the intrigued yet shy look on Jodye's blushing face, Bilan smiled to herself as if she momentarily forgot her brother was in danger, before she frowned and continued to explain, "Fiend h.o.a.rd Art is a two-star arcane curse art that uses death laws to summon evil fiends who possess the caster's mark. They must have been given an army of fiends to control."

"An army…" Jodye Trill mused. However, the nervousness Bilan felt and expected to see in her companion never appeared. To her shock, Jodye's eyes lit up like stars. Was this not excitement? If someone said it wasn't she wouldn't believe it. More than that, Bilan felt Jodye was downright giddy. Jodye laughed boisterously like a maniac, "Bwahahaha! What a perfect opponent to test my limits with. Fine then, let us deal with this Fiend h.o.a.rd Art! Eureka, 100 meters west, we're attacking immediately!"

"Yes, big brother!" Eureka roared as she responded to Jodye Trill in the language of the ancient fey beasts. However, he understood her correctly in spite of this. Thanks to Trippy, Jodye was now aware that this was because of his divine primal dragon bloodline. Eureka's growling like sounds seemed to resonate with his lifeblood, allowing Jodye to understand her words in a different way. Bilan Moon simply heard the roaring and purring noises, as Eureka performed one more ma.s.sive leap, before diving straight down like a missile made of pink and golden ice, the blue fire on her tail exploding and propelling them like a rocket. Bilan Moon and even Jodye Trill were amazed by this.

Meanwhile, in the plaza in front of the Silver Meadows Inn, Dessa and Aiken were back to back cutting down first and second level fiends left and right like blades of gra.s.s. Dessa Chimes' clothes were tattered, revealing her supple and cream-colored body. She was p.i.s.sed that the clothes she bought for herself were ruined, however, the armor Jodye had gifted her was still perfectly intact underneath her garments so only her legs were exposed. Obviously, her young lord was still the most economical when he came to making purchases. On the other hand, the sight of her exposed flesh was still too much for Aiken Moon to handle, and he concentrated very hard to avoid staring at this grand vision. Even though it wouldn't be a terrible way to die, Aiken liked his odds a lot better if he resisted this devilish temptation.

"Dark Sage Teams A and B, maintain the curse formation. Sinner Team B, it's your job to go capture that girl for me! Saint Team A will cover you, ack! You dirty old b.i.t.c.h!" the menacing voice on a middle-aged was ringing out from the skies above the city. Loud explosions filled the air, and fierce winds were a.s.saulting the streets below. Multicolored atmospheres and origin qi phenomena made the sky look chaotic and menacing. Down below there were two teams of saint path warriors that were each 100-man squads. In addition, there were two 10-man squads made up of sage path warriors.

"Hahaha, why don't you just surrender the 1,000-year-old Ganoderma and Stellar Moon Rock? Then you can handle your business properly!" the aged voice of a woman similarly rang out amid more explosions. Anyone hearing her would think she was an old bandit who came to take advantage of the situation.

"You old witch, go die!" bellowed Crash Bandit as he charged towards his new opponent.

*Bang* *Bang*

Crash Bandit's atmosphere collided with Master Grey Willow's with explosive impact. The arcane disks under their feet expanded and collided forming a sort of battle platform where the two warriors fought fiercely. Grey Willow charge forward fearlessly as Miran Moon attacked from the side. Sensing this with his divinity, Jodye couldn't help but frown. Wasn't this woman supposed to be covering their retreat? He immediately voided that part of the plan as this woman was unreliable.

However, how could Jodye know that the complacent Miran Moon felt that she had no reason to place herself in danger when Master Grey Willow was so supreme. After all, why else would Senior Shante Shatter trust her to accompany them on this quest? In Aunt Miran's opinion, she would definitely be safe as long as she stayed close to the spiritual master.

"This Master Sinner is going to send you all to the ninth level of purgatory!" Eddie Saver said solemnly. His facial expression remained unchanged in spite of Ca.s.san's persistent attacks that obstructed him at every step. Eddie's eyes shined with combat light and waved both of his hands casting two huge evil seals of the sinner sect, both full of fiend qi that launched at Ca.s.san like two meteors, "Beezlebub's Mantle!"

The two seals radiated intense and fiendish qi waves that tore through buildings and rushed at Ca.s.san who fell back and waved his arms, casting his innate combat skill - Lesser Wormhole. The laws of s.p.a.ce and time distorted as a wormhole the size of a large male appeared in front of Ca.s.san. Ca.s.san didn't stop there and released howl, the spread corroding qi waves everywhere the sound targeted. Eddie shouted and covered his bleeding ears as his evil seal escaped his control. The wormhole devoured the seals, and blood leaked out of the corner of Ca.s.san's mouth. His appearance suddenly changed as his face became furry and looked like a dog. His body ma.s.s also increased in size. Ca.s.san waved his arms and cast another Lesser Wormhole.

Behind Eddie Saver and the laws of s.p.a.ce and time twisted and broke apart once more as his two evil seals rushed out and blasted him with his own attack. Eddie was knocked several hundred meters away before he was able to steady himself, but Ca.s.san was already above him crashing down with a huge paw made of death qi.

The fight in the sky continued to heat up with every second.

She suddenly felt incredibly insecure, which Autumn Saver told her was probably the result of her spiritual sense awakening due to so many people locking on to her aura.

To Aiken's shock, Dessa stopped fighting and stood elegantly as if she was saying a prayer. Surrounded by fiends, a pale white barrier of energy suddenly surrounded Dessa and prevented the fiends from approaching her. Her tattered clothes seemed to disintegrate, exposing her jade legs and arms, but her most delicate areas were still shielded by her combat armor.

Aiken himself wasn't fairing much better, even though his master had also given him a decent set of combat armor. There were cuts and bruises all over his face and body. He looked at the Dessa Chimes whose body was drenched in sweat but was otherwise uninjured. Suddenly, he wondered how Mr. Jupiter had been training this girl. Having recovered his origin and lifeblood powers, Aiken was capable of utilizing his natural serenity qi. Innate qi came from force geneses that the body developed naturally. Aiken Moon was born with a serenity force genesis. Thus he could easily fuse serenity qi into his attacks even without a concept. Thanks to this advanced nascent serenity qi, he was able to produce more strength than Dessa in spite of his cultivation being slightly weaker than her own. On top of that, thanks to Jupiter, Aiken now had the advantage of being a priest.

Yet, he stood here on his last leg, injuries growing heavier with every pa.s.sing moment. Without his companion's support, the fiend h.o.a.rd was focusing more on him, and the saint disciples of White Serpent Cove were closing in on his location. Whereas, Dessa didn't have much more than a scratch on her. Of course, what Aiken didn't know was that Dessa's body was becoming stronger as she was close to entering the Wimpy Man Realm, and Autumn Saver was constantly exhausting its energy to heal her as the treasure spirit couldn't bear to see her hurt. Her const.i.tution was far better than Aiken's own const.i.tution. Aiken steadily retreated under the fiends' a.s.sault, and before he knew it, he had entered Dessa's barrier.

"Wimp," the suddenly more feminine voice of Autumn Saver rang out in Dessa's mind, but she frowned at these words.

"Do not talk about little Aiken like that. How strong could he be at his age? He's already doing great." Dessa Chimes communicated with the treasure spirit.

"This girl..." Autumn Saver couldn't believe Dessa had the spare time to admonish it. Was it really worth dying to defend this brat? "You are aware that your young lord, for whatever he is, is only six-years-old don't you? This is what you call a genius. The Moon child is decent at best."

Dessa Chimes had no argument there, as Autumn Saver had praised her master making Dessa smile sweetly. Autumn Saver felt exasperated. "Focus child, we're under siege!"
