Chapter 38: Short Separation, Waiting To Be Reunited

What is the most hateful thing in the modern society today? Apart from the alarm clock, it would be mobile phones. Do you know why? Because it disturbs people's dreams.

At this time, Pan Lei is sleeping on a bed within a pitch black room while holding his beloved man in his arms. “Captain, this an emergency situation. There was a bunch of bandits who went to rob Jin Lou in the middle of the night. Jin Lou was very secured. Those bandits opened the door by putting explosives in the front entrance. They also had guns in their hands. Moreover, the security guard of the gold shop became their hostage. We have already sent a car to pick you up.”

{TN: Jin Lou literally means gold house/golden building. A jewelry shop best fits the description. I kept the pinyin for it as I can't decide what to use. -hehe-}

“Come to the place where I am now. Tell our brothers that they have to be fully armed and go to the scene first. I will arrive soon after.”

Pan Lei started to wear his clothes. His movements were very fast. When Tian Yuan looked at him, he was already neatly dressed and standing by the bed.

“I have an urgent task, so I will be going first. When I am not at home, you take care of yourself. If your director and his lover make things difficult for you, go to the Armed Police Hospital and find my mother. About the car… you still need to learn more about driving, so during the time that I am not here, you should not practice by yourself secretly. “I don't actually know. I will call you every day. If I don't, that means it is inconvenient for me to do so while carrying out the task. I'm leaving. Go back to sleep. Remember to take care of yourself. If you are wronged, do not endure it. Even if I am not with you, there are still many people around you who can give you support.”

Pan Lei got up and walked out of the room. While he's walking towards the main entrance, he saw the house rules that he posted at the door. He looked at Tian Yuan who had already gotten up to send him out and pointed at the rules.

“Get lost!” Go, your grandpa! Your house rules has nothing to do with me which is a pain in the a.s.s. Just before leaving, Pan Lei dropped him such a sentence. It was his family rules. They are not in a relationship where he is bound to abide with it.

Pan Lei threw a flying kiss to Tian Yuan as he went downstairs in his fastest speed. As he was walking down along the stairs, he called his second brother.

“Second brother, I am out on a task. You must take care of Tian Yuan here. Ok… I know I have to pay attention to safety… Relax, I will come back intact at the end of this. I still have my wife at home, I can't be heroic. Well, I'm going. Seriously, look after him."

Tian Yuan went to the window. After a while, Pan Lei appeared on the side of the road. Five minutes later, a car came. He got in and left.

This person who suddenly appeared, also left abruptly after disturbing his life.

This loneliness… it has been so long since he felt it. Because Pan Lei was here, this place had become lively. Laughing, mocking and getting angry at each other and Pan Lei freely jumping inside the room, filled the place with joy. His simple meals are also incomparably delicious.

His sudden appearance is a happy encounter, and his sudden departure left behind a feeling of despair.

Why does a person fall in love?

Because that person is lonely. Maybe, if two people are together, he will not be lonely anymore.

Falling in love, the two people are indeed no longer lonely. But the other had left and thus, the loneliness from being alone has intensified.

Climbing the window and watching the distant disappearance of Pan Lei, Tian Yuan sighed.

“Come back soon.”
