I Am Legend 12 The New Equipments

Cloth armors are one of the types of armors. Other than cloth armors, there are light armor and heavy armor. Light armor and heavy armor are the usual type of armors that you can find anywhere. But for cloth armor, its requirement skill is very high. If you scale it from 1 to 100, it's a big 100 points.

Only smithmans who have already reached the greatest height in smithing could make cloth armor.

"Okay, here are the materials. Please make it immediately as we need it urgently as to not waste any time." Ryth requested politely.

"Alright, give me the control of your hands, and I'll make it right now. Ku ku ku!"

The command box appeared and Ryth gave it a yes without a second thought.

Daedalus started to transform the ingots to threads with his skill and sewing them manually.

And it could be seen how very skilled he is in sewing them, he is very fast and nimble with 'his' hands.

"Wow, that's some crazy skills you have there, Daedalus!" exclaimed Llyod in excitement.

"Ku ku ku! I already said it, didn't I? I'm the most skilled and famous craftsman in history!" Daedalus laughed.

After 3 hours straight, finally, Daedalus is done with his sewing. "I'm done! Here, give it a try!" shouted Daedalus.

"Eh? You're done already?" asked Ryth in shock. He would have thought that it will take at least 6 to 7 hours to sew 2 clothed armours. Well, after all, it is harder to make this, compare to making light or heavy armour. Even though, he had sew it manually, a lot of mana is also required to sew these clothed armors. This is because ingot threads cannot be penetrated by normal sewing needles. Hence, Daedalus had to transfer his mana to the needle, in order to sew the clothed armour.

"Told you, I'm peerless in terms of crafting! Ku ku ku!" Daedalus shouted boastingly.

Ryth touched his forehead with his right hand in helplessness as he sighed. "Okay, I'll try it now."

He put it on and it was fit his body perfectly. It's the same for Hill as well. Ryth try to test his movement by moving, jumping, running and take a fighting stance to try its flexibility.

"It's perfect! Well done, Daedalus!" Ryth shouted and turned his head towards Hill and asked, "What about yours?"

"It's perfect. I already tried to penetrate it with a knife and Llyod's sword, they can't even scratch it." Hill replied.

"Of course! You can't scratch it with low quality materials. It can only be damaged by weapons made with ebony ingot, Mythical weapons or above! But of course, if there is an enemy with high magic ability, they could imbue their weapons with magic to damage this clothes, so do be careful." answered Daedalus.

"I see. We will keep that in mind." Ryth said. Daedalus had let the others listened to his voice. He sent his voice straight to their minds. It's like he's using a team voicechat.

Hill's cloth armor is a black hoodie type with a black trouser. Its appearance is of a cla.s.sic hoodie for archers. It suits Hill really well, with his nickname 'Black Raven'. It made him look modernly chic.

As for Ryth's, it's the same like Hill's cloth armor, but with a yellow line from the right shoulder and down to the waist.

"Daedalus, could you make the color different? I'm sick of black clothes... it's giving me a vibe of light novel's MC..." Ryth said as he heaved a long breath.

"What is a light novel?" Daedalus was somewhat confused, he continued, "I can... actually, I want to enchant your clothes armor too. So I can do it when I'm done in enchanting it."

"Oh okay then. I will tell you the color that I want later." Ryth said, feeling satified.

They chatted for awhile. After three hours, Mr. Ruddy walked inside the living room and said. "It's done, guys." He wiped the sweat from his forehead and continued, "You can try it now!"

Ryth smiled and replied, "Thank you, Mr. Ruddy."

They walked towards the smithing room and told Llyod to try on the heavy armor.

"The weight is just perfect! I like this! The design is cool too!" Llyod shouted excitedly as he try to move and swing his hands around, pretending he's wielding a great sword.

"Haha! I'm glad to hear that! As you know, I haven't make any equipments for a long time, so I'm not really confident on these equipments. But hearing you like it, I'm relieved." Mr. Ruddy said as he smiled.

"Do try the weapons too!"

Ryth, Hill and Llyod grabbed their respective weapons and gave them a try. Llyod swung his great sword, while Ryth first examined its design and tried to swung it twice. Hill gave the bow's string a pull and tried to measure its weight with his hands.

"These are good weapons, no doubt about it, Mr. Ruddy. Thank you." Ryth said as he slightly bow his head.

"No need to thank me." Mr. Ruddy said hurriedly, and continued, "Besides, I can use my right hand again due to your kindness for searching a G.o.dly potion like that to heal my broken hand. You can have the potion back, you may need it later." Mr. Ruddy returned Ryth back the potion. Ryth took it and put it inside his inventory.

"Ah, yes, you have a spatial magic, right? You are indeed amazing at such a young age." Mr. Ruddy gave his compliment to Ryth.

"Haha, you flatter me. It's just that my luck is good..." Ryth said.

"Kahaha! You are still humble. Most of youngsters nowadays will be boasting about it, and yet you said it, it was all just due to luck!" Mr. Ruddy laughed.

Ryth bitterly smiled, he was indeed just lucky. If his luck was bad, he wouldn't be able to find the [Eye of Daedalus] inside the dungeon.

"Now what will you do, Mr. Ruddy? Will you open your weapon shop again?" Asked Hill.

"Probably yeah, but I still have to do my stockbreeder business as well, so it won't be as frequent as before."

"I see... we will pray for your success, then. Thank you, we will take our leave." Ryth said as he cupped his hand and slightly bow his head.

"Ah, why not stay for lunch first? I will prepare some meals for you all!" asked Mr. Ruddy.

"Ah, thanks, but we will pa.s.s. We have something else to do. We will be leaving this village today." Ryth smiled as he shook his head.

"I see... I pray for your safety on your journey! Do come back anytime, you guys will always be my esteemed guests!" Mr. Ruddy said.

Hill and Llyod also cupped their hands, and they follow behind Ryth.

"Ku ku ku! I have to say that Ruddy guy's skill is indeed good." Daedalus laughed.

"Right?" Ryth smiled.

They waved their hands towards Mr. Ruddy and continued their journey.

"What is our goal now, my lord?" asked Llyod.

"We will go somewhere first, before heading towards Myrad City."

"Oh, okay... but where?"

"Tango forest." Ryth answered.

"What? isn't that the dark elf's territory?"

"Yeah, we will go there to add some new teammates to our team."

"My lord, you know someone there that will help us in this struggle of power?" asked Hill curiously.

"Yes and no." Ryth smiled and continued, "We will see if it's possible or not once we got there."

Hill and Llyod were confused by their lord's decision. But they still trust him and asked no further.

"Off we go!" Ryth said in excitement.
