Rita didn't like the direction that the conversation was going, "Guys, could we please calm down?"

Radley leaned onto his arms using the table as support, "You are still the naive girl, Elita. This isn't a place of fun and games. I just offered you money, what more do you want?"

"This is where your naïve. Why do you think I need your money? I don't want your money. I just want you too…I don't know. Be less cold."

Rita really didn't like that answer, "Why? At least give us that. Because I swear, I will chase you to the ends of the earth to find you and I will keep asking the same question."

He told them about his history. How he basically lost everything. He omitted certain things, like how he had to murder Raelene, and his deteriorating psyche, "Now, was that satisfactory or not."

Elita was rather shocked, "I had no idea."

Tears ran from Rita's eyes, but she wasn't having a full-blown cry. Radley continued, "So in truth, this is a form of PTSD. Post-traumatic stress disorder. This is how I cope."

Elita smiled, "That will only motivate us more."

"I rather not have you do that. Let me put it to you bluntly. If you guys happen to die, I will not have sleepless nights over it, but if I form connections. I will truly snap and go on a murdering spree. Human, beast, does not matter. In the end, I have but one goal. Destroy the source."

Elita felt a certain coldness radiating from him but spoke up anyway, "There are too many flaws in your argument. You already formed your so-called connections with me and Rita. You should have just let us go. Leave me to my vices, where I try and be better than everybody. Next, you shouldn't have consoled Rita on your little revenge against Darnell. Those two events there is already a problem for you. You are not getting rid of us. From now on we will stick to you like glue. You helped us, now it's our turn to help you."

Radley was shocked. What is going on? Elita almost reminded him of Leanne…almost.

Rita saluted and stood up and went to sit down right next to Radley and locked into his arm. Radley lightly tried shaking her off, "Let go, woman. You are suffocating me."

She pushed herself even closer with that remark. Radley sighed and just gave up.

Elita went through the photos one last time. A woman that was raped then murdered. A man forced to watch then have his own life snuffed out. A child whose head was halfway removed. This made her stomach churn.

She finally found her mother in her own room looking at some doc.u.ments. Elita didn't bother to knock and dropped the phone on the desk.

Adira picked up the phone and saw the shocking photos, "Elita, why would you show this to me!?" It came out louder than she wanted. The dead child was especially shocking, it brought back horrible memories of her own child

"This happened yesterday night or early this morning, apparently. On the west side."

"What? Do you know why?"

"It's this feud between the Magistrates. You should go speak to Adrian to find out more. I am not sure about all the details myself. What I can tell you, is that there is a possibility for people to rise against the magistrates."

Adira rubbed her temples, "This is an unforgivable act. I agree, but we are talking about magistrates here. This is going to be a very difficult situation. Why are there two magistrates in one place even? I will speak with Adrian and hear what he has to say."

"There is something else, a bit more personal."

She told her about Radley's past. Adira sighed, "That actually explains a lot. What is it you want to do?"

"Form a party with him."

"I can't allow that."

"Why?"

"He is too unstable."

"I wasn't asking, mother."

"Do not get testy with me, Elita. I already have enough on my plate. Do not add to it. I let you come with so that you can get him out of your system. Nothing more. Besides, you are still a minor."
